so, re: Ashfleck gunning for deputy - i mean, i didn’t have anything specific planned for her, but now that you mention it… xD
she does have strong opinions about clan politics but i could see her just as easily deciding to throw her hat in the ring with Pollen and Tawny if for no other reason than bc she doesn’t like feeling left out and wants to be important lmao. if she made it to deputy she’d be like “ha suckers you lose but also oh crap i didn’t think id get this far now what”
are they recycled?? i hadn’t noticed yet! i usually do the same bc the role plays i join never stick around for long but i guess i got lucky with Hibiscus! if anything Roseclaw might be like, a cousin to Parrotcall rather than a direct clone cx

ive never actually tried to balance so many different characters at once! hopefully my cats from Hibiscus don’t start to bleed over into FlowerClan or vice versa o.o
Rose doesn’t realize Turtle’s feelings are genuine bc nobody has ever pursued a serious relationship with him and he doesn’t quite know what to do once he figures it out. he’s never gone that far with anyone so it’s completely uncharted territory for him. when Turtle works up the confidence to finally flirt back Rose just panics and melts

@ bramble - honestly i could see it going a few ways, either: they actually put in effort into getting to know one another and catch for real feelings, they put in effort getting to know one another and find they really just dont mesh together like that but stay together regardless, or they put in effort getting to know one another, find they dont mesh together, and break up
i think the second option would be kinda spicy bc maybe Daisy gets real with him, expressing the pressure she feels to stay together because they were part of the first round of assigned mates, and that her mom is already facing a lot of criticism that she'd hate add to that (with the failure of their partnership). and bc Daisyspots is so spiritual, she wouldn't actively go against a sign from Starclan
but im down for either options, and to hear your opinion on their situation!
i will say that i think the thing Whiteblaze and Daisyspots have in common is the struggle to be open and vulnerable, which i find interesting.

@ teal - i completely forgot the aspect of assigned mates and i think it would be really interesting if there was the struggle of being assigned to someone else, while have feelings for each other - that is if either get assigned mates
I think with Turtle being so observant he's become endeared with Rose's mannerisms when he's not trying to charm the pants off some cat. i also like the idea of a jealous, and maybe even a little possessive Turtle 👀
but he totally puts effort into flirting back with Roseclaw, even if he thinks he sounds kinda stupid doing it

A very go with whatever flow he's told to type of guy. Doesn't like conflict and just sorta folds to change, willingly adapting to whatever becomes of his enviroment. "yes darling" type of vibes as far as how he is in a relationship. Loves fishing and spends most of his time just sittin' by the river. Would like for him to have a mate he's been with for many moons, potential for it to be a not so great relationship or a great one depending on what the other person is looking for! Sootbelly is the type to settle for what is comfortable and would be there for his mate but may not realize he doesn't feel true love for them OR absolutely adores his mate but is simply stuck complying to Tansystar's new rules.

Newly single mother after her mate died in the coyote attack. Very caring she-cat who can never seem to find the right words but does her best to show her care through actions. Has become more bitter in her grief but is trying her best for her kits who are her main focus right now. Blunt and will say her opinion whether you like it or not. Definitely a slow burn romance since she just recently lost her mate.

Just a quirky lil guy trying to fit in. He often doesn't know what to do with himself but is always giving everything his best. He's cowardly tho and will run if something scares him enough. Pretty easy guy to get along with but also constantly worries he might be bothering others. Needs someone who can occasionally remind him everything's ok while also telling him to toughen up already lol
Whiteblaze - 32 Moons - Tom - Straight
The great pretender. Acts much cooler than he actually is because he thinks that'll get him to where he needs to be in life. Struggles with simply being himself, fears being vulnerable and usually kinda selfish. Reaaaaallly cherishes his loved ones tho, absolutely a ride or die for them. Needs to be reminded that being himself is ok even if he isn't the picture perfect person he wants to be. Type of cat that doesn't fall easily but once he does, he is absolutely blinded by love.

Pollenbreeze - 30 Moons - She-cat - Straight
Absolutely dedicated to the grind. Used to idolize her mother and Hollystar so much but her world has come crashing down and has been directing a lot of that grief and frustration at her mother. Ambitious as heck, wants that deputy position and is doing everything she can to earn it. Very by the books about it though so she's just sorta waiting for it to be handed over to her. really needs someone who'd be able to slow her down a bit while still supporting her goals or could also be a fun enemies to lovers type. Is the type to leave lil love notes before getting swept up into work and always bring some sort of gift. super loyal and reliable type when in a relationship.

flirty gentleman who struggles to trust others with his emotions. upbeat sorta guy and tends to be loud. Likes to keep things light and fun. Trust issues run deep tho and could use a nudge to get him more in touch with his actual feelings. Open to pretty much anything romance wise. He's the type to show off his partner and likely be a lil bit smothering, very much a physical touch for love language. Could be fun for a friends to lovers or just any lil fluffy romance honestly.

Buckstripe - 28 moons - Tom - Straight
Formal, overly polite guy. Doesn't really know how to handle himself in social situations so his default is to just be as polite as possible unless a reason comes up not to be. Rule stickler and practical. Normally pretty optimistic. Has a love for the scent of lavender. Could use some help breaking him out of his shell a bit.

Softleaf - 25 moons - She-cat - Bi
Social butterfly who's a bit ditzy and often talks too much. There will be no awkward silences with Softleaf around to fill them. Very patient and usually very unaware of both surroundings and if she's annoying someone. Big go-getter as far as being a warrior though, willing to leap head first into any danger if it's to protect her clan. Good for a sun/moon type pairing or any lil fluffy romance. Would be a very doting gf who's always trying to make her partner's day a little brighter.

The older sister/mom friend. The type to have snacks & water packed for everyone on road trips. Good at looking after others and does enjoy it, even if she suffers from spreading herself too thin sometimes. Secret hot-head that needs to learn how to handle her emotions in a more healthy way. Protective of her loved ones, very 'mess with the bull you get the horns' type anger. Would be up for a dad friend meets mom friend type romance or really anything!

Frogstorm - 18 moons - She-cat - Bi
Kittypet turned warrior. Gruff & sarcastic, had her trust broken and now she's got an attitude. Only been with the clan for about 3 months and is still pretty detached from clan politics, barely has a clue what is going on most of the time. Still feels the need to earn her spot in the clan and tries to be a hard worker for that reason, very reliable gal. Romance wise, I don't have anything specific in mind & she's open for just about anything.

Sheltered kid finally free of adult supervision because she is now an adult. Optimist to the max and a day-dreamer type. Was likely the class clown back when she was an apprentice. Open romance wise, don't really have anything in mind at the moment.
Canarypaw - 9 moons - She-cat - Straight
A lil jack of all trades. absolutely loves learning but never sticks around to master anything. a bit flirty but absolutely freezes the moment anyone tries to return affections. In general, she's very friendly and charismatic, trying to always get along with anyone who crosses her path. She's quite sensitive though and is the type to cry about it. Open to pretty much anything romance wise, she's the chatterbox who becomes shy around her crush.

Smokepaw - 7 moons - Tom - Bi
A sneaky lil adventurer who has getting lost in crowds down to a science. Rules are suggestions type. Does things for the fun of it and rarely any other reason. Has a ton of guilt after missing the coyote attack due to sneaking out though and is working on changing his ways, wanting to use his stealth skills for the good of the clan rather than his own personal interests. Still figuring himself out romance wise but is very much the type to try and make his partner feel special. would go out of his way for them.

think southern charm family man who just wants what's best for his kids. has been burned by love before, could be ready to be burned again. he has dumb dad humor, and is surprisingly good with kits. definitely had to learn to think before he speaks, but he's still got a mouth on him. is a very loving and devoted partner. would do well with someone genuine and kind who could melt his heart, someone to grow old together. bit of a slow burn, still scarred from the infidelity of his last mate.
Irisnose - 33 moons - molly - straight
shy and sweet, just a simple gal who likes to tease others every now and again. not like the other moms because she's a Cool Mom™. loves to give advice, and to hear the latest hot goss going around in the clan. easily excitable and impressed. she'll put her kits above anyone else, and would kill/die for them. she'll be a loyal and devoted partner, think she could pair well with just about any type, as long as they're just as loyal to her, and care for her family. another slow burn, literally just lost her mate (rip)
Deerfeather - 31 moons - tom - straight
the definition of an aries venus. enthusiastic, impulsive, and direct with what he wants. he sees a pretty she-cat and he can't help but flirt, maybe fall in love for about 5 mins before moving on. major mommy issues. thinks he knows what love is, but he honestly doesn't. deep down he just wants an honest, genuine connection with someone else, but he's afraid to lose it before he's got it. please he needs someone to put him in his place, who can also match his energy and keep up. maybe enemies to lovers? also potential for friends to lovers.
Daisyspots - 30 moons - molly - pan
kind of cool girl vibes. she knows the best places in camp to sunbathe, all the secret exits, where the prettiest flowers grow, and how to use berries to write curse words on the inside of the apprentices' den. the leaders daughter but she's not very ambitious. honestly just wants to be seen, but doesn't really know how she fits in. doesn't like to take things seriously, or be too vulnerable. she has a kind heart and a very optimistic view on life. could do well with a busybody of sorts, someone to help her see her own potential.

introverted quiet guy who gets very easily flustered, with himself and by others. would rather people watch than hang out with a big group. awkward, but he tries his best. he's a very thoughtful and patient partner, and it might take him a while to gather the courage, but he could gush about his partner all day if given the chance. desperately needs someone to teach him social cues, and who can be understanding of his awkwardness, while also encouraging him to put himself out there.
