Silverbrook> the river | with lilacsun | @ Ember34Through the brambles and ferns encircling the camp they went, winding between the ancient, moss-covered oaks toward the western side of the forest. It was even colder in the shade of those evergreen boughs. Where the morning sunlight had yet to reach, a thin layer of frost carpeted the grass, crunching beneath Silverbrook's paws as he walked. "Good thing we settled on fishing." The crackling ice crystals would make it challenging to creep up on woodland prey. Sure enough, the bushes to his left stirred as a fat vole heard their approach and scurried away to safety. "At least we'll hear the coyotes coming." He sighed, falling in beside Lilacsun. Uselessly, he fluffed up his shorthaired coat against the chill. The trek to the river seemed longer than usual today, and the forest around them was too quiet. Silverbrook quickened his pace, both to warm himself up and because he was eager to reach the water. Acornfallflower fields | with daisyspots | @ 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢Now it was Acornfall's turn to flush. She smiled bashfully and turned her face away at the compliment of being usually right. "Oh, I don't know about that." She was glad Daisyspots couldn't see her expression when the younger molly mentioned her faith in StarClan, for her amber eyes dimmed. It sounded as though Daisyspots might be trying to convince herself, reassure herself, but maybe Acornfall was only hearing what she wanted to hear. She wasn't sure she shared the same conviction anymore, herself. The ancestors might have their reasons, sure, but that doesn't mean their reasons are any good. Withholding that retort, the brown-and-white tabby drew in a deep breath of crisp, cool air, centering herself. "Not too bad. When you're friends with a -- strong-minded cat like Tawnyfrost it's hard to be bored." She chuckled at her own brief hesitation as she'd searched for the right word to describe the calico. Between the coyotes, Tansystar's deteriorating sanity, and Tawnyfrost's ambitious plans, the next few moons were sure to be interesting indeed. Roseclaw > southern border | with whiteblaze & ravenpoint | @ brambleflight, @ Zz"Southern Border, brilliant! I like the way you think!" Maybe it made him a bad cat, but Roseclaw got as much of a kick out of annoying some warriors as he did flustering them, and poor, serious Ravenpoint made it too easy. She clearly had no interest in him, so he had no illusions about wooing her. No, his intentions were innocent. He saw her withdrawn attitude, saw the tension in Whiteblaze's shoulders, a mirror of so many other Clanmates. He would do what he could to lift their spirits and ease that tension. If there was one thing Roseclaw excelled at -- other than being utterly charming and irresistible, of course -- it was being distracting. He turned to aim a cheeky smile at Whiteblaze as they left camp. "She's so efficient, isn't she? Hunting and marking the border at the same time?" He was glad the other tom appreciated him, at least. He fell back to chat with Whiteblaze on the way to the border, lowering his voice to a stage whisper. "Alas, aspiring to be more efficient does not make one's company more pleasant..." Ashfleckcamp | with forestfrost & lightstrike | @ Ember34, @ little blu ♥"I know. I'm full of good ideas," Ashfleck preened. She headed across the camp, her strides brisk and confident, her shoulders thrown back and chin uplifted. She cocked her head at Forestfrost. "Well, if I see any lizards, I'll be sure to send them your way," she promised, nudging the molly's shoulder playfully with her own. She was almost at the exit when a nearby yawn caught her attention. Flicking her ears, she glanced over and spotted a sleepy Lightstrike, looking as though he'd just stumbled out of his nest. Actually, maybe he had. It was odd to see him without Silverbrook around. The two toms had been inseparable for as long as Ashfleck had been alive, if not longer. "Hey, Lightstrike!" she called, addressing the senior warrior as though he were no older than she. "If you're looking for a hunting patrol, you're in luck! Hop to it and let's go!"

WispkitSinking his claws into soft bark, Wispkit scrambled on top of a tree stump on the far side of camp. His small paws placed firmly on the stump, he let his green eyes scan the camp triumphantly. "Ha! Try getting as high as me! There's no way you'll get onto the rocks above," he puffed out his chest as he looked down on his littermates, confident that their tiny claws wouldn't be able to achieve what he couldn't - climbing a rock overlooking his tree stump. Icekit and Frostkit stood watching him from below - Icekit looking ready for the challenge and Frostkit as cold as ever. Frostkit Watching his brother climb the tree stump, Frostkit let out a purr of amusement. He shook his head at his brother's challenge and quickly shot down the idea of climbing that little stump. It's not even that high, why is he making such a fuss? he wondered to himself. As he began imagining a simple day of enjoying the last of his kitten days basking in the sun, he heard a sudden commotion by the camp entrance. Frostkit set his pale green gaze on Jaggedpaw bursting into the camp. He kept his gaze steady but his body stiffened at the noise as he watched the apprentices surround Jaggedpaw and question him. He couldn't hear what was being said from this distance but he felt his paws prick with a tinge of anxiety at the sight. Something seems wrong.. he thought.NutpeltNutpelt stood on her feet and groaned at the ache in her bones. "Yep you can tell leafbare is coming," she muttered under her breath and nodded to Echopaw and Silvershade. "Morning you two!" she perked up at the sight of the apprentice. "You're so sweet Echopaw, always doing so much for us over here. You're gonna make a great warrior one day, I can tell just looking at you!" Her amber eyes shone with pride and nostalgia reminiscing her own apprentice days. Nutpelt flicked her ears to shake the thoughts away before she got too caught up in them - a seriously bad habit of hers. When Echopaw extended the offer of bringing her some fresh kill she politely declined. "No thanks, I gotta get out of this den and walk around a bit." She dipped her head towards the apprentice and the other elders and stepped into the sun for the first time that morning.Peonynose Peonynose fidgeted anxiously outside the entrance to the warrior's den. Her thoughts raced with worry over all the things that could go wrong today. Ohh should I join the hunting patrol? No no, I'm a terrible hunter I'd probably just slow them all down.. But what if I should go to catch prey for the Starclan offering? Oh, the border patrol already left... Ugh, I should've gotten up earlier - I could've helped. Or maybe not, maybe me missing the patrol was a sign for me not to go. If Starclan wanted me there they would've had some kind of sign to wake me up, right? Right? Peonynose was pacing in circles at this point. Shaking her head side to side unable to make a decision. The coyote attack had rattled her pretty severely and she anxiously waited for Tansystar to just tell her why Starclan had left her alive out of so many more capable warriors. As she started getting dizzy from her pacing, she heard a commotion at the camp entrance and saw Jaggedpaw bursting in in a flurry.

Featherpaw
W/ Canarypaw, Foxpaw, Coyotepaw, Brightpaw, and Jaggedpaw in Camp — brambleflight 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢 Ember34
Featherpaw’s fur on her spine began to raise, her eyes widening in alarm. “They’re not back…what if they’re still in trouble,”she mewed, more to herself that the others. “We have to help them!”she said to the other apprentices, claws flexing into the dirt as she looked at them, hoping someone would agree.
(Is this when headstrong apprentices go and try to help/probably cause more trouble? 😈)
Cavernblaze Cavernblaze nodded at his apprentice and padded quickly towards Stormfrost and Sparrowpaw. “Hey guys.”he cleared his throat as he approached them, dipping his head in a polite greeting. “Are you going on a hunting patrol?”he asked, standing next to Wrenpaw.

Frogstorm paused at the other warriors question. For a moment, her eyes narrowed in thought as she glanced over at the birds and then looked back to Thistlefang. "Let's go in from the sides." she meowed decisively. She wasn't sure if it was the right move but the new warrior didn't want to let her uncertainty show. She moved to stalk off towards the right side of the flock of birds, stepping carefully. -- Buckstripe - Camp - w/ Moonclaw 's Dappleleaf / Camp commotionBuckstripe set down his flowers and fish, giving his fur a quick shake. At Dappleleaf's question, he tilted his head, about to reply when commotion at the camp entrance caught his attention. His ears pricked forward as he studied the scene of Jaggedpaw entering and other clanmates hurrying to surround him. "Uh.. Not well by the looks of it." he replied quietly. His paws suddenly tingled with anxiety as he recalled his brother leaving on the patrol along with Dappleleaf's brother, Swiftclaw. Buckstripe glanced at his mate with an uneasy look before moving closer to the group of gathering cats, trying to overhear what had happened. -- Dashstreak - Forest - w/ lunapaw🐾 's BrighthopeThe forest had been rather quiet that morning and Dashstreak was trying to make the most of it through hunting. So far, he had managed to snatch himself a mouse but was hoping to catch another piece or two of freshkill before heading back to camp. His next target was a squirrel rustling around the forest floor. He began to stalk towards it but before the warrior even got close, Brighthope was suddenly there and had the squirrel hanging from her jaws. "Woah!" Dashstreak exclaimed, bristling slightly with shock as the she-cat had come out of his blind spot. Realizing it was just his clan-mate though, he relaxed and shot the other warrior a smile. "Nice catch there!" -- Lionswoop - Forest - w/ little blu ♥ 's RaggedheartThe large ginger warrior trotted through the forest with the all too regular bounce in his step. He had wandered out of camp simply for the sake of taking a stroll. He could easily make himself productive later, perhaps join a patrol of some sort. If we even have those anymore.. He thought to himself with a hint of bitter amusement. The state of the clan had not slipped past him, even if he tried to make light of the situation. His nose twitched as a recognizable scent hit the roof of his mouth. Lionswoop grinned and changed his current course to head towards his friend. Rounding one of many oak trees, the tom caught up in time to spot Raggedheart landing on his prey. "Keep that up and you'll have the whole clan fed before sundown!" he purred encouragingly. -- Sootbelly - Camp - w/ jellypeaches ' Berryspring &xσxσJα∂є 's Featherpaw / Camp Commotion The senior warrior rolled over in his nest as Berryspring pawed at him. "I'm... upp... i'm..." he trailed off slightly as he felt sleep pulling at him again until another paw came down to prod him. A grunt escaped the tom as he caught brief words regarding Jaggedpaw and a patrol. As Berryspring disappeared from his side, Sootbelly slowly began to arise. He forced himself to his paws and let out a long yawn before moving to follow the ghost of his sister. Stepping out of the warrior's den, it wasn't difficult to locate the issue that Berryspring had been telling him about. Other cats were already gathering- offhandedly he spotted Tawnyfrost, Buckstripe, and his own apprentice, Featherpaw. Sootbelly raised an eyebrow and moved to join his sister in the crowd, shuffling his way through just in time to hear Featherpaw's exclamation. "Slow your roll now, Featherpaw, " he meowed, with a stifled yawn. "I have absolutely no clue what's goin' on but no one's going to be charging head first into danger. Especially you apprentices... uh whatever's going on, has anyone told Tansystar yet?" he asked, then looking to the other warriors that had gathered around, feeling rather lost on whatever vital information he had missed.
(they'll have to get passed the old guy first cx ) -- Icekit - Camp - w/ Vinedew 's Wispkit & FrostkitIcekit flexed her claws against the ground with a look of determination burning in her eyes. "Oh you're so on! I'll go twice-no! Five times as high as you Wisp!" she declared boldly. The small molly bunched up her legs and flung herself forward, digging her claws into the side of the tree stump as she pulled herself up to her brother's level. Completely unaware of the commotion going on in camp, she stuck her tongue out at Wispkit before moving on to fling herself unflinchingly at the nearest rock above. Her claws scraped against the boulder and for a moment, the she-cat dangled there as she struggled to hoist herself upward. Eventually, she managed to propel herself upward and stood atop the rock with a challenging grin as she looked down at Wispkit. "Ha! See!" she said, trying to hide the panting her stunt had caused.

Silvershade | Elder Tom | Elder's Den w/ Rabbitleg
The grizzled tom grunted an agreement in response to Rabbitleg as he stiffly and not particularly gracefully descended into his nest. He enjoyed interacting with the younger clan members, but he didn't have much patience left for his fellow elders. He couldn't help but feel somewhat detached from them, as he was many moons senior to all of them. He gazed off at nothing in particular as he waited for Echopaw to return with his meal, pondering the course the clan had taken in his many moons of life. I've got no one left, he mused, shifting his face away from Rabbitleg to hide his somber expression. I came here as a rogue, I had no family to begin with, I never took a mate, and everyone who I started this journey has met their end before I have. He dwelled on this a while longer before shaking his head, dispelling the cloud of melancholy that had come to settle over him more often recently. My decisions were made long ago, I can't mourn the ones I've lost forever. He turned back towards the entrance of the den as his stomach gave a timely rumble, wondering when Echopaw and Yellownose would return.
--
Berryspring | Senior Warrior She-Cat | Camp Commotion w/ Sootbelly, Buckstripe, Dappleleaf, apprentices
Berryspring breathed a quick sigh of relief as her brother joined the crowd before turning to the overzealous apprentices. "No, Featherpaw, I want all of you to stay here." She shot the young cats a stern look, but it was clear her words were out of concern and not anger. "If they sent Jaggedpaw back to camp, that means two things: they need help, and this situation is not fit for apprentices. Those coyotes... I knew I had smelled a faint trail last time I went on patrol." She turned back to Sootbelly and the other warriors present in camp. "No, I don't think anyone has had a moment to think since Jaggedpaw came barreling in. Buckstripe, Dappleleaf, can one or both of you alert Tansystar? There's no time to wait. Sootbelly and I have fought coyotes before, we're at lower risk than the rest of you. Apprentices, stay here with Jaggedpaw and get him to Spectralmist as soon as you can, he should be checked out for shock." She glanced over at Sootbelly, feeling a pang of guilt as she knew he had barely just woken up. "Is that alright, Sootbelly? Everyone? I don't want to put younger warriors and apprentices in danger," she murmured, less assertively than a moment ago. Images of brutal coyote attacks in the not-so-distant past couldn't help but flash across her mind. It's probably just a few stragglers, she attempted to comfort herself. No one will die today.

Brighthope Her ears perked as her attention turned towards the tom, as she hadn't noticed him there before. She let out a soft smile with a chuckle. "Thanks." She purred, her tail beginning to swish behind her. Her gaze shifted all around him, as she studied the tom closely. "You must hunt a lot." She said quietly, taking a short step towards him. She felt a bit more comfortable around him, given he was her clanmate, though she was still unsure of his character quite yet. She was eager to learn more.

Jaggedpaw-Camp-Apprentices, Warriors Jaggedpaw shrank nervously as the crowd grew, he knew it was only to plot courses of action, but he was already anxious from the event, that the bigger the crowd got, the more nervous he got. Looking to Featherpaw he nodded to her. "Yea we-," he didn't get to finish when Sootbelly cut in. Flicking his ear in disappointment, but he understood where the warrior was coming. Same place that Pollenbreeze did with him, they weren't fully trained nor had experience that warriors did, so they would be the best to go out to aid the patrol. "We got close to the campgrounds," he said to Berryspring. He wasn't sure if they were still there though or if they had pushed onward to try get away or an advantage. "I-im fine," he stammered out, when the mentions of having to go see his uncle came up. He didn't want to cause further issues, nor bother more, sides he would need the herbs for the patrol if they were hurt.

Alderpaw apprentice den with Flaxenpaw She stifled a yawn as she awoke from her nap, finding herself neatly settled within the apprentice den. She shook herself off as she got on her paws, and stretched. Lifting her paw, she began to groom herself carefully. Flaxenpaw entered the den, and let out a soft chuckle when his gaze fell upon her. "What's so funny?" She hissed. "Oh, nothing." He said in a sing-songy manner. She rolled her eyes as he seated himself next to her.

Dawnpaw hunting near the Eastern border After searching the warrior's den for her mentor and turning up empty-handed, the she-cat decided to practice hunting on her own. On this particular day, Dawnpaw was on the hunt for a plump and juicy rabbit. She crept quietly through the underbrush, her muscles tensed and ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. As she stalked her prey, Dawnpaw's senses were heightened, and she could hear the faint rustling of the rabbit's fur as it hopped along through the grass. She moved closer, keeping low to the ground and trying to remain hidden. Finally, when she was within striking distance, Dawnpaw burst into action. She pounced on the rabbit, her sharp claws outstretched and ready to make the kill. But the rabbit was quick, and it managed to dodge her attack at the last moment. Undeterred, Dawnpaw continued to chase the rabbit, her powerful legs carrying her over logs and through the underbrush with ease. She was determined to catch her prey, and she was not going to give up easily. After a long and grueling chase, Dawnpaw finally managed to corner the rabbit against a tree. She lunged forward, her claws outstretched, and this time she made contact. The rabbit let out a terrified squeal, and Dawnpaw quickly delivered the killing blow. Satisfied with her successful hunt, Dawnpaw picked up the rabbit in her mouth and carried it back to the apprentice's den, where she would feast on her hard-earned meal. She was a skilled huntress and knew that she would have way more successful hunts in the future.

Turtlestep with Patrol southern border Adrenaline was coursing through Turtlestep's veins as he went for the coyote again, trying to keep it down as he attacked its neck. He bit down as hard as he could, hearing the creature whine before trying to turn its head and unsuccessfully snapping at the warrior. He struggled to hold on, especially when the coyote got to his paws. Turtlestep finally let go, grunting as he hit the ground running. He heard Pollenbreeze's call to head towards the fence, and then he looked up to see some kittypet feigning some pained call. It wasn't lost on him that the coyotes weren't far behind, he could almost feel their hot breath on his spine before he pushed his legs to go faster. Turtlestep watched as his clanmates all made it up the fence, and he was the last to join them. Sinking his sharp claws into the wooden planks, the brown tom groaned as he climbed. He stole a look back only to see one of the coyotes jump and snap its jaws at him. It would've grabbed the end of his tail if he still had one.
Finally on top of the fence, Turtlestep was panting, his heart hammering hard against his chest and ringing in his ears. He tried to ignore the coyotes jumping against the fence, yipping at the cats and Smore. "Is anyone hurt?"
Daisyspots with Acornfall flower fields Daisyspots could hear the bashfulness in Acronfall's tone, and she had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from giggling. It was a pretty cute reaction, considering that Daisyspots didn't think what she said was much of a compliment. With the conversation finally off of her, and her love life, she could feel her shoulders lift and relief flood her chest. Though, the mention of Tawnyfrost made her stiffen momentarily. Daisyspots had forgotten that she was technically fraternizing with the enemy, as far as Pollenbreeze was concerned. Then again, she obviously didn't care for clan politics, and her sister was no where to be seen. Hanging out with Acornfall couldn't be that scandalous.
The gray molly chuckled along, carefully pushing through the stalks of flowers and nosing a couple. Maybe her mom might appreciate a couple of pretty peonies. "I can only imagine what that might be like." Daisyspots responded with an amused purr. "Tawnyfrost sort of intimidates me, but I'm sure she's a great friend."
Rainfall with Sunshine eastern border Rainfall sat still in the meadow of scattered wild flowers, the last of the bloom before the harsh leaf bare left the field wilted and only those suited for the cold weather survived. A flower crown of snowdrops sat on her head, woven together by her sweet sister, Sunshine. The fragrant scent was almost overwhelming, and reminded the silver tabby too much of their mother. Remembering the nights when Coldfern would slip into the nursery just before the sun came up, smelling like wildflowers to mask the strange scent of another cat on her fur.
Sunshine's words were going in one ear and out the other, obviously something was weighing heavy on Rainfall's mind. If Tansystar was really going to be assigning mates again, which she'd already announced a few since the coyote attack, then it was only a matter of time until her sister was paired up. It irked Rainfall how little control she had over the situation, knowing that Sunshine would earnestly try to get to know her assigned mate. What if she was paired up with someone cruel, or ugly, or someone that would start a family with her then abandon them one day? It wouldn't be fair. Rainfall would rather take down two badgers by herself than let Sunshine experience any kind of heartbreak.
"Hm?" She finally tuned back in as her sister continued to list off names, exposing the fact that she hadn't heard a single word. Rainfall gave a small smile, finally moving from her spot and pressing her nose to the golden tabby's cheek. "You planning on picking a whole bouquet then?" The molly teased. "Sure, sure. We can pick as many flowers as you want, but don't forget we'll have to carry them back ourselves."
Foxpaw with Canarypaw, Brightpaw camp Foxpaw stayed back, watching as more and more cats gathered around Jaggedpaw. He didn't want to add to the chaos, even if he was a little interested in what happened to the younger apprentice. Even from where he stood, Foxpaw could hear Featherpaw talking about going out to find the patrol. His eyes widened and he nearly took a step forward, about the talk them out of it when Sootbelly and Berryspring came to the rescue. Stealing a look to Canarypaw and Brightpaw, he nodded towards the apprentices den. "I think I'm gonna stay out of whatever's going on over there. Brightpaw, your form is already looking pretty solid. Can't wait to see it when your mentor goes over it with you." He said with a smile, nodding to both of them before disappearing into the apprentice's den.
Honeykit with Hemlockkit nursery @ brambleflight Honeykit yawned again, her jaw stretching wide before smacking her lips together. She hadn't caught the sudden mood change her mother went through as Treewind pushed his way into the nursery, in fact she hardly registered the tom's entrance at all. When Lilypounce passed her, telling her to sleep, Honeykit simply nodded and pressed her side against her mother's legs. "Okay, mama." She curled up against Hemlockkit, nuzzling her brother then shutting her eyes. It wasn't long before she fell asleep, tuckered out from playing all afternoon.

Hazelpaw camp with Briarheart The apprentice padded into the clearing where she spotted her mother and padded over to her happily. "Briarheart!" She called out as it rang through the trees. "Good to see you Hazelpaw. How have you been?" The warrior smiled deeply with warmth about her as she spotted Hazelpaw. "I've been doing well. I've been practicing my hunting skills and spending time with my friends." She summarized, an eager smile spread across her face. "That's good to hear. I've been busy with patrol duty, but I've also been working on my fighting skills." Briarheart said as she stood, taking a step forward. Hazelpaw's tail swished behind her gently as she spoke. "Sounds like you've been keeping busy too! Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?" The apprentice asked, tilting her head to one side. Briarheart shook her head. "I have more hunting practice to do, then I'll get some rest. It's important for us to stay sharp and ready for anything." Hazelpaw added. Briarheart nodded. "Definitely. Well I should get going for now. Take care, Hazelpaw." She nuzzled the apprentice gently before departing.

Ravenpoint-Forest-With Whiteblaze and Roseclaw brambleflight Tealraven The molly pinned her ears back as she walked, not enjoying the accompanying warriors presence in the slightest. In fact, in had now ruined her day as a whole. she kept alert for any sign of coyotes while also searching for any prey that may be in the area before she happened to hear Roseclaw's little comment. Swinging around she stared him down, her somber personality replaced with some semblance of the old, confident Ravenpoint for a moment. "I don't care about what you say or what any else says either. Maybe if some people weren't so pompous and stuck up then they'd be able to see that they're the ones who aren't good company and can't even get out of their heads long enough to do some good." With that she whipped back around and stalked off, leaving the two on their own.

Honeypaw she-cat - 8 moons - med. cat apprentice assigned mate: open location: med. cat den - tags: Spectralmist (Ember34 ) Honeypaw nodded and listened to her mentor's explanation carefully. Everything seemed more complicated than at first glance sometimes, but they had plans for the day to get to. "Ready to head out then?" she asked, turning towards the entrance and slightly tilting her head at him. Sparrowpaw tom - 8 moons - apprentice assigned mate: open "If you don't mind the company," Sparrowpaw noted to his mentor, politely. He spotted Wrenpaw and Cavernblaze approaching, both throwing questions his way. "Yes, we were just going to head out for some hunting," he explained to the two, politely nodding at Cavernblaze. Pebblecloud she-cat - 32 moons - warrior assigned mate: open Pebblecloud hesitated for a moment, glancing at Softleaf. Was there a deeper reason for this conversation? Or was it just idle chatter with no thought to who she was speaking with? "I think it's a mix of the good and the bad. I think mates you choose yourself don't always work out, and maybe Starclan knows better," she remarked as casually as she could, "bringing back offerings makes me more nervous with leaf-bare approaching now, but I think we just have to see how things go," she remarked. Driftshadow heard the apprentices getting riled up and figured he ought to check on his, he couldn't be the only one that hoped their energy could be productive. "Hmph whatever, I could totally do that too you know. I was just daring you to see if you could," he flexed his claws into the bark beneath him and eyed the rocks. Hmmm yep these rocks are like 3 times my size. There's no chance.. He shook out his fur and focused his eyes on something to distract him from his failure. "Oh, look at these! Frostkit, Icekit I found some flowers!" He walked towards a crack between the bark and rocks and pointed at a few light purple flowers. Unlike the flowers warriors picked and brought back to decorate camp, these flowers were growing right at the edge of camp and standing tall in the sunshine. "We should get some and take them to the offering pile. Tansystar would like that I bet. Maybe she'll make us apprentices early!" Green eyes wide and ears perked up, Wispkit looked for his siblings' approval.Frostkit w/ brambleflightFrostkit turned his attention away from Jaggedpaw thinking that he should leave stressful things like that to adults, plus if his brother or sister caught wind of it they'd surely want to go investigate. Hearing Wispkit calling for him, he sighed and gracefully leapt onto the stump above squishing himself against his brother and loving the warmth coming off him. "Okay what is it?" Frostkit observed the tiny flowers Wispkit motioned towards. Hardly anything to boast about, the tiny flowers peeked out from under the bracken camp wall and reached for the morning sun, but they were fresh flowers and had a pleasant aroma radiating off them. "Hmm, well they're a little scrawny. Not like the bigger flowers and herbs warriors bring back. But as kits this is all we can offer so we might as well." Although I highly doubt we'll get made appretnices for something so small, Frostkit reached his paw forward and snipped a flower for himself and stepped back to allow his siblings to grab an offering as well.

Cherryfall in the nursery The queen sat grooming herself gracefully in the nursery, swiping her dainty paws over her ears. She stifled a yawn, and stretched her long legs out in front of her. She swished her tail as she thought of her kits, and the she-cat began to joyfully prance about. Goldenleaf let out a chuckle watching the molly, and it brought a smile to Cherryfall's face.

Hazelpaw camp The she-cat raised her head towards the sunlight beaming into the apprentice's den. She felt a rumble in her stomach and made her way over to the prey pile, looking around to make sure no one was in sight. Hazelpaw had always hated eating in front of others, and felt rather comfortable with nobody watching her today. She scarfed up a squirrel within a matter of moments, and began looking around to see who she could find.
