I'm not adding A Starless Clan because it only has two books out and it would be unfair to judge it this early on.
Doing a main series reread and dang, I have so many books to go through.

TNP will always never have a place in my heart, at least the first 3 books, they stopped me from ever getting to the end.

It's tied between AVOS and TNP. TNP's quality is consistently mediocre, a boring series that would put you to sleep and has nothing interesting and exciting for far too long in it. It also introduces some of the worst elements that would haunt the series later, like the Tribe.
AVOS is a different case, with the first few books being excellent, some of the best in the series. But the second half is the worst material the series has ever put out, a slog of absolutely nothing happening being stretched into three books. Second half of AVOS is borderline unreadable for me.
So I guess the question is whether consistent mediocrity is worse than half being great and half being awful.

The Broken Code. An inconsistent, contradicting nightmare. And I don’t think I could feel anymore disconnected from the protagonists as I did for its lineup(Shadowsight is the exception, I found myself caring about him a little at least). First 2 books were pretty solid. The last 4 were mostly a drudging chore to get through.

AVoS was awful. I'm also not a huge fan of OotS but that wasn't as actively bad as AVoS, and I really like TNP.

OOTS for me. I would say AVOS, but it's saved from being my least fav because of how much I love the first three books.

AvoS was boring, and I couldn't get attached to characters other than Tree. I feel like too much was happening in one book or nothing at all. There was no in-between.

TBC is the worst arc for me, there was just too much happening, it just got really complicated. Second worst for me would be TNP, since it was really boring.

Either TNP or TBC, I’m not sure at this point. TNP was really boring in many parts, but TBC book 4 was quite possibly even more awful to read for me, and after that I just lost interest in the arc.

TNP was sooo fun for me, I was surprised when I started going online and seeing that everyone hated it. I really enjoyed the journey and the LeafxCrow drama and the Bramble and Hawk conflict, the badgers, etc. it was fun.
but for me I think the least enjoyable arc was AVOS. It had 2 entertaining books: thunder and shadow, and shattered sky. The rest were DOG SHIT (i mean to be fair I didnt read the 6th one)

A Vision of Shadows based mainly on the last 3 books. The arc was poorly thought out. The first three books were great books 4 and 5 were okay and book 6 was a disaster.

I'm actually surprised that TBC is higher than OotS. I thought that arc was way more disliked.
In my opinion though, TNP or OotS.

I'm actually surprised that TBC is higher than OotS. I thought that arc was way more disliked. In my opinion though, TNP or OotS. I'm really surprised too. I was under the impression that OOTS was generally accepted as one of the worst arcs in the fandom, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Maybe it's not as hated as we thought (at least not on the forums)? - I haven't read AVOS, but from what I've heard, it's incredibly disappointing that most of the action happened in the first three books while the rest is mostly filler. The 6-books-per-arc structure can be limiting, and I think it's most obvious in AVOS. So while I haven't read it myself, I'm inclined to choose that arc. The arcs I've read (1 through 4) were all relatively enjoyable for me, so it's hard for me to choose from that selection.

I'm actually surprised that TBC is higher than OotS. I thought that arc was way more disliked. In my opinion though, TNP or OotS. that’s probably contributed to there being a much larger audience that’s read OoTS compared to the TBC arc and has received much more critiquing. and subsequently where many fans stopped reading. Perhaps if more had read TBC I’d be rated even lower idk.

AVoS. The first half was really great though imo. But the second one just dragged on and had the renewed TigerDove drama, Tigerstar becoming leader, Tigerstar being a foxheart to SkyClan and Sleekwhisker failing hard to even be considered a villain on her own with actual agency besides her whining of being miserable (because of her own actions btw). Like stfu, bruh. She was just so incredibly annoying/insufferable/obnoxious to read about at that point. Not even in a fun way.

AVoS was a snoozefest. It's so freaking boring with bland characters. I tried so hard to finish book 2 and just. yawn. I never went back and finished it, it's just too painful. So that one is worst to me.
Shoutouts to TNP for also being boring with unlikeable characters, and TBC full of crappy fan service and questionable plot choices.
OOTS had major problems but it's still iconic, and enjoyable even when it's stupid, imo

Dawn of the Clans free. I couldn't care about almost anyone in it, with Clear Sky being the main exception due to being that much of a shitter. By the end of it, I was the closest I'd ever been to just walking away from the series altogether. TNP is a close second.
