Nobody. He’s been proven to be an extremely abusive mate to Squirrelflight and it’s so infuriating to read about that I would just want him to not have a mate at all. It’d be better (for the mate situation only) if he wasn’t in a position of power in the clans because it’d be harder for him to yk, abuse his status in a relationship.

I'm going to be the one who says Bramblestar x Squirrelflight.
I may sound like a broken record, but I've always liked the idea of them and that hasn't changed. Different forces keep trying to break them up, but love will always find a way for them to be back together. They're destined to be happy together no matter what the odds are.
Thing is, their relationship is so toxic and unhealthy that it keeps making them unhappy. They should have gotten back together after Squirrelflight's lie about the Three and that be it. Arc over. This new quarrel they're having has me shaking my head like, "Really guys? Either get along or just call it off." At this point, they really should separate.
Rant aside, I think Brambleclaw and Sorreltail are cute, and I also like Brambleclaw and Jingo.

Out of what’s listed in the poll, it really makes me think that Jesse was not a bad option considering the current relationship now. Squirrelflight and Bramblestar would actually function well as a leader/deputy pair without any mate or kit reasons to make their conflicts worse and heated. A co-worker relationship would be more fitting for them in their current positions than adding on the mate aspect.
And things would only really change in regards to ASC anyway. (And technically that plot could still happen if a BrambleXJesse kit got with one of Lionblaze, Fern/Ivy, or one of Cloudtail’s kits or grandkids anyway.)

Leafpool, maybe. She was more understanding than her sister, and less conflictive. The main issue with BrambleSquirrel is the fact that their personalities constantly clash, resulting in lots of arguing. Opposites attract, but this is ridiculous.

And I wish they’d stop throwing them into turmoil and BS because the writers seem deficient of capacity of creating interesting conflicts and compelling plots without cramming in some more relationship drama. Seriously wish they’d ever split them up permanently, or leave them alone. |

Bramblestar x Daisy in my opinion would have worked out well, and I preferred it over BrambleSquirrel. Bramble respects Daisy, values her as a member of ThunderClan, and trusts her to make good choices. His opinion of her has greatly changed over the years, and it's lovely tbh. On the other hand, Daisy is a very kind, and honest, but also loyal cat, and an amazing mother, who just never got the best end of the stick romance-wise. I think the two of them would have made the perfect fit, especially after OotS. It's better than Bramble ending up with someone random like Jessy (although looking back at it now even she was a better option than Squirrelflight), and they wouldn't even need to have kits tbh. I just think they'd be a much healthier and better choice than BrambleSquirrel for sure. I don't think Daisy would ever lie to Bramble, use him, and treat him as terribly as Squirrel does.

Or she could have been with someone else, but she just seems like she'd make a great Queen in general since she bonded with Daisy a lot. |

Nobody tbh, he's a terrible mate and his behaviour just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If they had written him better maybe i would have put him with someone.
But i guess if it had to be with someone Jessy? But that wouldn't work out either because she looked rebellious and sassy too and i know for sure there would be more power imbalance in the relationship the moment she disagreed with him. He would treat her as terribly as he treated Squirrelflight. And Leafpool and Daisy are just no. They deserve someone better.

The opinion i have is kinda biased, because i self identified with Brambleclaw from TNP. That time when he was trying to run from his father s mistakes. Thing that i try to do rn.
