For a current plot, maybe we could have a prophecy where there's warning of a cat who will be born a clancat but will grow to want to break the structure of the clans and basically return the cats to their rogue ways?
There coule have been a period of peace and little heard from starclan until this prophecy gets delivered so now everyones on high alert

i actually like that alot, and if we wanted to go that route, maybe it came in two parts, one portion went to one clan and the other part to the other clan
but due to the lack of communication from starclan, and the risking high alert between the clans, or perhaps a ban from the current leaders as they dont want to risk unnecessary blood from being shed, the medicine cats dont think of sharing with one another on what the recieved,
and the second part could be referring to what could be the factor in preventing the tainted seed from happening, but without the first part for context it is as cryptic to the medicine cat

So one Healer from, for example, Brambleclan receives the initial prophecy. And then the other Healer from Thistleclan receives another message that's supposed to be a follow-up to the first prophecy?

pretty much, one was sent as a warning/omen, and later after the cat in quetion has been born, the healer in the other clan gets the next part of the omen

Distant Kin, how the clans were created by two brothers so they're in a far-off sense kin to one another. The serpents tongue being the persuasive words of the cat who wants to dismantle the clans

yea, thats what i was tryna go for 😄 and another cool thing I thought of was that maybe the cats could be taking the omens literally, so no one wants to name new kits with the prefix Seed-, and maybe there can be a warrior with the prefix Serpent- and theyre suddenly ostracized because everyone is afraid of them or suspicious of them. More drama fuel? Lol

Hey so for Brambleclan and Thistleclan's color pallettes, Im thinking of darks and neutrals thanks to Rainleaf's suggestions about eye strain.
Brambleclan could be pale green/olive color, and Thistleclan could be burgundy/sorrel colored?
