About the clan The clan was founded by Miststar, formerly a kitty-pet named Misty. After running away from her twoleg home, expecting kits, she ended up deep in the marshlands near her home. Exhausted, and hungry, the molly drank from a small creek, trees forming a clearing around it. Once asleep, she was visited by cats she did not recognize, telling her to settle to the south. While confused, upon waking she followed their word and founded what would eventually be Mistclan's camp. Over the following moons, several other former kitty-pets, loners, rogues, and the occasional ex clan cat would join the clan. It has been many moons since that day, Miststar now sits on her final life, having watched her clan grow and change and adapt as the seasons passed. The Territory (Feel free to talk to me about new locations) The camp: The camp is located close, though not right against, the marshes itself. It is hidden by the tall grasses of the area, dens formed by folding some of the thicker patches into coverings. The medicine den however is just outside camp, built into a large outcropping of rocks against a hill, it is dug into and giving protection in case of severe weather. The leader's den in closest to the marshes out of all the dens, seated in a small hill and giving easy access to see out over the water and over the clan. The Mangrove's Overview: A grouping of 3 mangrove trees deep into the marsh waters, the branches form spots high above the water to observe the area around. It is a spot where Marsh Runners may stay in order to look for areas with more prey or to check for dangers that may be approaching the camp. A small assortment of herbs is kept there in case of injuries. The Spider Meadow: A small clearing with a fresh water creek running through it. It is where fresh water is gathered for the clan. It is also a spot where Medicine Cats and Leaders come to speak to starclan. The name derives from the Spider Lillies that grow there, a new one seeming to bloom once a cat from the clan passes. The Twoleg Nest: A small twoleg nest is located just to the north of the territory, while empty for most of the year, during leaf-bare, the twolegs do return to the nest. The twolegs are fairly old and do not bother the cats so long as they are able to catch mice on the land. It is only when the cats show any kind of threat to them that the twolegs will release dogs. Ranks Leader: They are in charge of the clan, assigning apprentices and generally making rules for the cats to follow. They have nine lives received from Starclan.
Deputy: Second in line for the clan, they will take up the mantle of leader once the previous one has lost their final life. They are in charge of assigning patrols and leading at least one per day. Needs to have at least one apprentice prior to being in this position. The oldest of each group of cats reports to them on what their groups have done for that day.
Medicine cat: They are involved in direct communication with starclan. They also heal sick and injured cats while gathering the materials needs. There can be up to four medicine cats at a time, and should one wants a mate, only one can be out of duty at a time.
Marsh Runners: They are in charge of finding anything the clan needs within the marsh waters. They need to be adapt, fast swimmers and good climbers. Apprentices of this field usually train a season longer than most due to the danger of this profession.
Hunters: They are in charge of gathering the bulk of food for the clan. Cats of this profession will need to be speedy while also good at climbing depending on the prey they are after.
Tunnelers: They are in charge of helping expand safe areas for when the storm season approaches. Most of the year, they act as the clan's protection, keeping guard over camp and the hunters. During new leaf however, they will help repair and expand tunnels within the medicine cat's den in case of bad storms. Cats of this profession need to be strong enough to fight and extremely good at digging.
Apprentices: They are the cats between 6 to 12 moons for Hunters, Medicine cats, and Tunnelers and cats 6 to 16 moons for Marsh Runners. They are learning their future work, and are assigned to cats of at least 24 moons old.
Queens: They are expecting or current mothers in the clan. The mothers need to remain within camp and sleep in the nursery. Some queens are allowed to remain as permanent queens to assist those who may have trouble nursing. Only two allowed at any given time.
Kits: The clan's youngest members ranging from newborn to 6 moons. They must remain within camp at all times, only being allowed to leave if seeing a medicine cat.
Elders: They are the cats who have chosen to resign from their position, either due to extreme injury or due to old age. They are given high honors due to having served the clan. Rules 1. No godmodding, cats can get hurt. Unless talked about with me, no cats can have powers without a good reason. 2. No perfect characters, everyone has imperfections, and that's fine. 3. Please keep fur and eye colors at least somewhat realistic, it doesn't have to be perfect (Ex: Male calico/tortishell) 4. Follow the forum rules!!!! 5. Please do not join and never rp, if you leave for over a week with no word, your cats will be marked as such. If its longer than two weeks, you will be removed from the rp. 6. Leader: Miststar | Leader | 98 Moons Miststar is a small molly with blue fur, having white on her underbelly, paws and muzzle. Her fur is long and glossy. She has dark blue eyes. She is a rather polite cat, trying to be caring to everyone within her clan and treating them as if they were her own kits. However, she can be rather snappy in her old age, easily being set off if another cat does something incredibly mousebrained. Moonclaw400. (Lives remaining: 1) Deputy: Lichenpool | Deputy | 30 Moons Lichenpool is a lilac mackeral tabby molly, having white on her muzzle and paws. She has dark green eyes. She is rather long-legged and has a large scar across her chest. She is a rather stern cat, trying to make sure everything is running smoothly. She is a bit of a worrier, getting concerned in patrols return much later than anticipated. Moonclaw400 Apprentice: Oatpaw Medicine Cats (1/4): Tigersong | Senior Medicine Cat| 84 Moons Tigersong is a gray spotted tabby tom with a tuxedo white pattern. He is surprisingly muscular for a medicine cat, having wanted to be a tunneler. He has dark gray eyes and a scar over his left eye. While fairly strong willed, he is often seen as a grumpy older tom. He is fairly paitent when teaching other medicine cats or healing others, but as soon as someone stops listening, he will tell them off. (Open to claim) Apprentice: Bronzepaw Marsh Runners: Leafnose | Senior Marsh Runner | 60 Moons Leafnose is a cinnamon spotted tabby tom who appeared to be polydactyl. He has gold eyes. He looks to have a few nicks in both of his ears. He's a rather happy tom, being friendly to any new comers or apprentices or kits. He tries to make light of the day despite the difficulty of his job. However, he can become extremely bossy in an instant should the circumstances call for it, such as the slightest hint of danger. His mate passed while having his kits. (Moonclaw400) Apprentice: Jaypaw Hunters: Foxthorn | Hunter| 14 Moons Foxthorn is a cream tom, with the cream getting darker on his legs and tail, with brown ear tips and a white patch on his chest. He has marble blue grey eyes, with a notch in his left ear. Foxthorn is a cold and solidarity tom, keeping to himself, and going out alone then out on patrols, or interacting with other cats, with a tendency to push cats away to prevent them getting close, not wanting to be hurt again. Past that his old personality remains, a tom that is full of energy and a love for pulling pranks, even pulling other cats into his pranks. He is cheerful, liking to look at the positive side of things, rather then negatives. (Ember34)
Crowmask | Hunter | 33 Moons Crowmask is a tuxedo tom, with short fur. His face is completely black, with sharp amber eyes. He is missing half of his right ear. Crowmask is a hardworking cat, borderlining being a workaholic, putting his job before anything else, which has put a strain on his relationship with those he is close to, as he never truly makes time for it. Crowmask however is a very dedicated cat to those he cares about, not wanting them to ever be hurt, and was relieved when his son switched his training after his accident. Crowmask often struggles to convey his emotions through words instead choosing to rely on actions. (Ember34) Tunnelers: Aloeflower | Tunneler | 33 Moons Aloeflower is a calico she cat, with one green and one blue eye. She has a twisted front left paw, but it doesn’t hinder her ability to do her work. Aloeflower is a stubborn cat, not one to divert from her tactics unless it is a last resort. She is very motherly to young cats, and watts to have kits of her own some day. Aloeflower is kind hearted, never wanting to hurt others, and when she does, she always works to make amends. She is a bit oblivious, so it takes her time to notice things. (Ember34) Apprentices: Bronzepaw (pool) | Medicine Cat Apprentice | 9 Moons A tuxedo tom with short fur, with a broken tail. He has bright amber eyes. Bronzepaw is a very quiet tom, speaking when spoken to. Bronzepaw is hardworking, and never stops a task till it is completed, which can get in the way of his training. He is stubborn with his beliefs, and never wants to deter from them. He was originally a tunneler apprentice, but after a some cave in that broke his tail, he switched to being a medicine cat apprentice, after his time he spent in the den, but has grown to develop a fear of the tunnels, and of confined places. Bronzepaw is extremely loyal to his friends. (Ember34) Oatpaw(frost) | Hunter Apprentice | 9 Moons Oatpaw is a short furred black she cat with green eyes. She is a lean built cat. Oatpaw is a cheerfu;l and upbeat she cat, always smiling, and never seems to be down about anything. She is a skilled hunter, and often enjoys bragging about her catches. Oatpaw does have a bit of a mean streak to her, with her constantly putting down her sister or other cats she finds useless. (Ember34)
Jaypaw(spark) | Marsh Runner Apprentice | 9 Moons Jaypaw is a fluffy long furred she cat, with a grey overcoat and a white underbelly. She has bright leaf green eyes. Jaypaw is deaf. Jaypaw often struggles to communicate with other cats,as she can never control her voice volume, and is still learning, while she also is working to learn how to read lips and body. She is a very good listener, not one to judge other cats for anything. She isn’t ashamed of her disability, often taking pride in it, as she feels it can’t make her any less of a warrior. (Ember34) Queens/Kits: Ryefeather | Queen(Marsh Runner) | 29 Moons Ryefeather is a ginger and white she cat, with her body being mostly ginger, she has soft hazel eyes. She has short fur, that is slightly longer on her tail. Ryefeather is a very affectionate she cat, often dotting on her family and close friends. She loves to help other cats young or old, be it with a patrol to check on how things are in the marsh to helping cats practice battle moves. Ryefeather can come off as overbearing and overprotective often worrying over her clanmates more then she should. (Ember34) Spiderkit(berry) | Kit | 3 Moons A small fluffy white tom, with blue eyes. The runt of the litter. Spiderkit is a very carefree tom, often just going about his with a smile on his face. He is incredibly oblivious when he upsets others, and tends to not know when he needs to stop and leave someone alone. Spiderkit is a very cuddly cat, enjoying getting to just curl up with someone. He tends to keep his nose out of other cat's issues unlike his littermates, instead just being a bystander in the situations, even if it's someone he knows in the fight. (Ember34)
Crestkit(heart) | Kit | 3 Moons Crestkit is a ginger and white tom, with green eyes. He has a small white spot on his ginger forehead. Crestkit is a very adventurous kit, always getting into things he shouldn't be, but is sly enough to get out of any real trouble. He is a bit overconfident in his abilities, and often tries to prove himself in various ways, despite being very young. Crestkit is very empathetic, and if he sees someone upset, he wants to help them. (Ember34)
Frecklekit (flight) | Kit | 3 Moons Frecklekit is a pure ginger she cat, with long fluffy fur. She has an extra toe on her front left paw. She has hazel eyes. Frecklekit is an energetic cat, often running about the camp with her littermates or on her own. She is quick to act to try to resolve fights, not one to use her claws, but rather her words, as she believes in trying to communicate first before resorting to violence. Hickoryspirit is a large, blue mackeral tabby tom with large white patches over his body. He has dark blue eyes and scars over his back legs. He was the son of Miststar and father to Lichenpool. He passed when a tunnel collapsed on him. (NPC)

Deerlight was a tortishell molly with amber eyes. She had very fluffy fur and was rather small in size. She was the former mate to Leafnose and mother to their kits. She passed while having them. (NPC) |

Ember34 his history: Foxthorn used to be apart of a clan called Whisperclan, where he lived with his family and clanmates. One day they had let in a group of rogues, but that turned out to be a mistake. As countless bodies of dead clanmates began to appear, with Foxthorn(paw at the time) finding them everytime, causing him to develop trauma. He was soon framed by the rogues for one of the deaths, which resulted in him being exiled from the clan, as well as being disowned by his parents and littermates. The deputy at the time, as well as two other apprentices, exiled themselves with him, believing in Foxthorns's innocence. They soon returned to the clan and he got his warrior name of Foxthorn, but never truly felt like the clan was his home anymore. He had a small fling with a kittypet named Flower, before he left his clan and his family behind, and traveled till he came across Mistclan. Miststar slowly exited her den, glancing over her clan. A smile crossed her face as she made her way towards the fresh-kill pile.
Lichenpool went over their supplies, checking what cats were in camp. She was thinking of patrols to set up and which ones were needed immediately.
Leafnose was resting in the sun, having returned late last night from a journey into the marsh. He glanced over at the apprentice den, making sure they weren't getting into trouble.

Pushing past her sister, stepping on the other she cat's tail, she exited the den. She stretched outside, and soon spotted her mentor, and headed over to the older cat. "Morning Lichenpool," she greeted with a smile. "Do you have anything you need me to do?"
Jaypaw-Camp-Leafnose
Jaypaw jumped and scowled a bit after her sister, before giving a shake of her fur, and exited the den. She licked her fur a few times to get rid of any moss or other debris that might be in her fur at the moment, wanting to be presentable, before she went over to Leafnose. Greeting the tom with a bow of her head.

"Sounds good," she said, giving her mentor a smile. With that she quickly headed for the fresh kill pile and grabbing a mouse, heded for the nursery to give it to the queen.

"I am," she said, determined to show she could handle the job of what she was training to do. She gave a flick of her tail, waiting for her mentor to lead the way to where they would be going.

Crowmask looked up from where he was laying, looking to the deputy. "Sure, I can do that, I'll speak to Leafnose, when he comes back to see if there is a certain spot we should hunt in," he said to her.

Crowmask-Camp-Lichenpool(briefly)
Crowmask stood up shaking off his fur. "I'll try and see if I can catch him then, if he hasn't left," he said. He bowed his head to her, to excuse himself, as he headed for the medicine cat's den to hopefully catch Leafnose before he headed out.
Jaypaw-Camp->Medicine Den-Leafnose
Jaypaw hesitated before entering after her mentor, keeping back as she watched the tom. Jaypaw jumped as another body pushed past her, as Bronzepaw eased inside, a few herbs in his mouth.
Bronzepaw-Medicine Den-Tigersong, Leafnose, Jaypaw
Bronzepaw set the herbs down out of the way where his mentor was sorting, giving a small nod to the two cats in the den. "Morning you two," he said. "Can we help you with anything?" He glanced briefly to his menotr, but after being given a nod, he turned his attention back to the two.

Jaypaw struggled to figure out what the tom needed, due to how the medicine cat was sitting, but she shook out her fur, her mentor would know what to look for so she could just ask when they got out.

"Sure," he said with a flick of his ear. "I can look you guys over, is there anywhere in specific as of right now that is giving you trouble, and I can start there." He observed the two cats, both were in good health from a visual view, but he knew that there could be things beneath the surface that could cause issues.
