Smokefin gave a nod, slightly relaxing a bit at the tom's words. "Are you going to be okay," he asked the other cat. They glanced to the water. "It would be good to at least clean it now....and then you can have one of the healers look at it when we return....if you need to that is." They added quickly at the end, it wasn't their place to be telling the other what to do.

Smokefin headed over crouching down beside him. They kept their eyes on the rabbit they were after, as the creature just sniffed the ground as it hopped from various points, searching for it's own food, unaware of the two cats watching it. "Should we do what we did earlier," they asked, keeping their voice quiet enough that Cedarwing could still hear but wouldn't alert the rabbit.

Smokefin crouched ready to spring, as they took a few more hesitant steps forward. Stepping on a twig startling the rabbit, cursing they sprang forward managing to just barely grab a hold of the rabbits hid leg. The prey thrashing to free itself.

Smokefin managed to get a good hold, and quickly but it's neck. They sighed in relief, as their ears pulled back incredibly embarrassed over the whole thing, as they mentally avoided themself for their mistake.

Smokefin jerked away, startled as they looked at the other car. "If I was good I wouldn't have messed up catching the rabbit," they mumble retaking the rabbit into their mouth and taking off for the castle. If they got there fast enough they could drop it off and go back out to make up for it.
