Listening to what the king said, they pulled their ears back. Maybe they would stick to camp if things were getting dangerous, their tail flicking nervously. "Maybe," they whispered back to him. "It would make sense for that to happen." They at least hoped that knights would be sent out, they really didn't believe in their fighting abilities.

Basilwhisker listening to Blizzardstar
Basilwhisker listened to the king as he spoke about the attack on the patrol. He thought about how he had reassured them that he was still there and internally scoffed. He felt that the queen would be a better ruler though she felt her son would be a good fit for the throne. Having Moonfrost as a leader scared Basilwhisker. He seemed too flighty and scatterbrained to him. He wondered what the king would do to make the clan safer.

Skyflower takes this time to speak up. "We will overcome this because we are united. These commoners lack the drive and leadership to keep going! Continue to serve your clan and we will prevail." This earned a few yowls of approval which caused Blizzardstar to look a little annoyed.
Blizzardstar clears his throat in order gain back control. "Now unless there is anything else then you are all dismissed."

Pinekit was playing with his sisters while the rest of the clan meeting was taking place. After a moment he stoped to take a breath and asked, "So what do you think that call was about you two?"

Pinekit looked at bit worried and asked, "Do you think that they found out about Uncle Vinetail!" He knew that it was a big deal that they were talking to their uncle when they weren't supposed to, even though he didn't understand. To him he didn't know what else could be more important.

Moonfrost at Meeting Moonfrost stuck out his tongue instead of yowling approval. Before Blizzardstar said anything else, he headed towards his room to try and sneak out before the patrols got increased. (Kinda wanna have Moonfrost run away either now or a little later, thoughts on this?) |

Cloverstripes goes into the kitchen and grabs herself a rabbit before walking back up the stairs to rejoin her kits. She would check on Heathershade a little later.

Pinekit groaned as he asked, "But what else could be going on then?" Suddenly he could hear pawsteps coming closer tot eh nursery and decided to try and act normal, or what he thought was normal. Which would entail him being still, which is the complete opposite of him.

Moonfrost in Room Moonfrost had decided that he finally had enough of his mother and father and his mother's talk about how "if your father's health declines too much, you'll become the next king". He devised a plan to sneak out. Moonfrost tore down one of his sky blue curtains and tied it to a night stand so that it would stay in place whilst he climbed down. He grabbed a small, yet warm cloak from his closet and put it on. Then, he climbed out of the window, slid down the curtain, and made his way to the forest. |

Smokefin calmed a bit at Cedarwong's action, pressing a bit closer to the tom. Their ears pulled back as they gave a small flinch at all the yowls of approval, but soon hesitantly joined in, while they tried staying out of politics, they tried to fit in with their clanmates.

Waterkit in Nursery Waterkit sat in a dark spot in the nursery, watching from afar. She noticed Pinekit's stuttering and figured that he had done something wrong. She hadn't payed much attention to what they had done before their mother came into the nursery. |

Cloverstripes glances at her kits before deciding to let it go. "Well, I brought this rabbit for us to snack on and I wanted to let you know that Heathershade had her kits!"
Robinkit lets out a little squeal. "Can we go meet them?!" Cloverstripes lets out a small chuckle. "A little later right now she needs to rest but later on I will see if she will let you visit them." She picks up the rabbit and heads to the nursery.

Pinekit covered his ears as Robinkit let out a squeal upon hearing about Heathershade's kits coming. Shaking his head he quickly got up to follow his mother. Honestly he had no idea why his sister was so excited about seeing the new kits. As they walked he asked, "So mom, what did the king call the clan for mama?"

Cloverstripes waits until they are back in the nursery in order to place her rabbit down. "A patrol was ambushed by commoners. Blizzardstar wants to increase patrols and wanted to let us know that we will be okay."
Sparrowkit blinked surprised at the news. She hoped the cats on the patrol were okay. Though a patrol gets attacked and their uncle shows up out of the blue?
Silverpaw spots Woodpaw and hurries over to him. "Hey, so what did you think of the meeting?" He questioned wanting his clanmates opnion.
