Although she knows it's not his fault, there is some part of Mothfang that blames Lostpaw for her brother's accident. She starts to treat him very strictly, never showing praise. It only worsens Lostpaw's performance enough that he fails his assessment. He is left behind while his sister becomes a warrior.

On one of his secret meetings with Stormpaw, Lostpaw spots Houndstone meet with a Fireclan she-cat and sees that the two were very close, probably mates. He decides to keep it a secret and not even confront the warrior about it. In fact, it encourages him and Lostpaw grows bolder, meeting with Stormpaw even more often than usual.

The fire left the forest burnt down making DarkClan lose the protective canopy of the forest. An opportunistic hawk tries to carry Milkflower away but it is stopped by Lostpaw who unfortunately breaks his leg in the rescue attempt. This heroic deed allowed him to finally become a warrior.

The medicine cats busy themselves trying to find new growth, wanting to refill their herb stocks as soon as possible. The fire unfortunately wiped out most of their stores and they have had to ask for herbs from the other clans to treat those with burns like Clay. On one of their trips, they find an abandoned fox den near the edge of their territory with the remains of a fox cub who perished during the fire. With some reinforcing and frequent patrols in the area, it may be a good place for a temporary nursery. They tell Goosestar about their discovery.

ѕιℓνєямσσи its ok! i dug up the link to the family tree hereHoneystep is the daughter of Doepool and Bristlefur Doepool is the daughter of Batpool and Ruddystar. Also the littermate of Squirrelbloom. Sharpfall is the son of Squirrelbloom and Sunflight Sunflight is the son of Antblaze and Bumblestripe. Bumblestripe is the son of Poppyshade and Sunpad. Also the littermate of Bristlefur. They are like double cousins actually lol
