trout is cream which is a diluted orange (in the simplest of terms), and since he's male that red gene comes from his mother, who is a calico/tortie and would naturally have the red gene to pass on to any sons, that's all good there
for moss, she's fawn, which, if i believe is a very diluted black -> brown dilution
with mollies the color is a combination of both parents typically then i don't believe the dad could (realistically/genetically) be ginger

why can i imagine them giving all of their kits herb names lmao
the kits become apprentices and their friends are like "what's with all the plant names" and they just go "my parents were healers"

i thought of it immediately, because it'll just be so amazing

wimpy healer parents cracked me up. their precious kits race into the healer's den trying to show them a new move but accidentally destroy some of the herb storage. Both they, and Sunchaser, get scolded.

also if they're gonna be named after herbs it's gotta be the classic parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. but im open to other herbs, bc i think Pepperkit and Limekit are really adorable
