I work at walmart (unfortunately) and had to work black friday last year and oof
Luckily I managed to get the rest of the week off so i can drive down to my parents’ for thanksgiving

hey rainy! welcome to the chaos!
my thanksgivings are always pretty chill since it's just the four of us. I'm attempting to make pumpkin pie from scratch this year so that should be an adventure
also I've completely lost track of my characters (I have so many now oops) so I'm just going to consider all of them except Stormsurf and Jacarandabloom open to new scenes. lemme know if anyone wants to rp and I'll respond to your starter or whip up one of my own!

i kinda had established that Pearlwave grew up alongside Vanillabloom's litter, kinda like that friend you have over all the time, is basically part of the family - invited on fam vacations and holidays. i like this idea that despite training in different areas, Jacaranda and Pearl were always competitive with one another, with Pearl thinking it was more of a friendly rivalry than anything, but it was all water under the bridge at the end of the day. if we go with a romance route i think it just hits her one day like "omg am i in love with my best friends sister? uhhh yeah i think so" as far as what they're like: Pearl is a very spunky gal, probably likes weird food combinations, collects cool pebbles and feathers, very stubborn - think taurus type stubborn, has a hard time paying attention when a pretty girl walks by Littlefoam is more girl-next-door type beat, shy sweet gal, feels all her feelings all the time, more dreamy vibes, loves her job and loves her patients, cares for everyone, will probably cry if you yell at her moonclaw400 i'd be open to making a new cat for either Troutwhisker or Mosslight for you to ship with if you'd like ^^ |

I think rivals to friends to lovers could be fun for them! Jacaranda is always trying to stand out from her siblings, always seeking attention or approval, and veeery competitive. It is extremely easy to push her buttons. I think would be hilarious if Pearlwave viewed their relationship as a friendly rivalry and liked to tease her about it while Jacaranda, who kept trying to impress her and win her affection without realizing it, was totally oblivious and took the rivalry way too seriously xD Then one day Pearlwave's like "you know we're actually friends right" and Jacaranda goes "we ARE???" and it completely changes her view of their relationship
Also, Sunchaser canonically adopts introverts as friends and drags them out on adventures with her, so she and Littlefoam could be buddies c:

then Jacaranda feels like she has to make it up to Pearlwave somehow and starts finding excuses to spend more time with her, notices things Pearl likes, and when she goes on patrol she’ll see something and think “oh pearl would love that, now she’ll totally see im a good friend” and bring her cool rocks and feathers for her collection. and Jacaranda still doesn’t get it until Lilypool or somebody says “are you trying to woo Pearlwave” and she’s all “no!!! … am i?”
Sunchaser and Littlefoam bffs now canon <3

at what stage in their relationship should we start? are they still rivals? or just becoming friends?
