Ichiro snickers and looks down at his now empty tea cup "how about I'm just crazy me?" He says before looking back up. "Byakuya, is it possible to remember one's life when they we're part of the living?" He asks softly deciding now wouldn't be a bad time to find out why he can still remember. |

Aoi shook her head. "It's nothing," she replied. "You said it's a few blocks down right? Let's head out then," she said to Corynn. "Thanks mom."

"I suppose we'll go with that then," Byakuya said in response to Ichiro's first question. As for the second question, he took longer to come up with an answer. "I have never seen it myself, so I am not sure if it is possible. The closest I have seen is family members remembering each other if they all passed at the same time. If it is possible, I'd have to say it would be extremely rare."

𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓿 : Mitsuo's face turned a bit pink at Nikita's reply, and he made his way over to the couch. "I'd say you were out for almost a day. I brought you back here in the afternoon, and it's probably close to noon now," he answered, looking out the window. He pushed his glasses up as he looked back at Nikita and shook his head. "Nah, you don't look half as bad as I did. Well... excluding all the blood stains on your uniform," he said with a sot laugh. His mind went back to the comment that Ayashi had made about her and blushed all over again, then causing him to quickly head back to his desk for a few more chips. Mizuki slowly shook her head. "No need to apologize," she said. She took one more long sip of tea, trying to suppress her own urge to yawn after Kousei did so. "Perhaps after we rest up I will have to increase the combat training sessions for the division, just to be safe," she murmured. Nikita noticed the blush the first time after she said she'd missed him and she smiled a bit more, it was sweet that he got flustered so easily around her. Then he responded and she blinked and bit her lip lightly, "A whole day." she repeated softly as she wondered how her aunt and uncle were doing. They were probably worried sick about her. Then Mitsuo's voice pulled her thoughts back to the present and she registered what he said and then the blush on his face once more. Her brow arched lightly as he quickly moved away from her in an attempt to hide it. She smiled once more and nodded, pleased with his reply that she looked fairly alright. Kousei nodded quietly and sipped at his tea, wondering on the idea before smiling in response, "I think that's a good idea. Considering how exhausted we are after that battle, I can't imagine putting some of the younger and newer squad members through that, not without the proper preparation." he sighed gently and sipped on his tea once more. |

Once she had caught up, Aoi started down the street in the direction her mother had specified. Even though they weren't close to the right street yet, her eyes looked over every house they passed. ~~~ Byakuya cleared his throat loudly when Ichiro went for the tea kettle. "It is proper manners to let your host serve you," he said. His voice was soft but had a certain strictness to it as he swiftly moved to stand beside the tea. He lifted the kettle and then held his hand out for Ichiro's cup. ~~~~~~~ 𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓿: Soft crunching came from Mitsuo as he finished the chip bag. He looked through the drawer and frowned when he saw it was his last one. Oh well, another excuse to visit the human world, he thought with a shrug. He plopped himself down in his desk chair and let out a sigh. His face had returned to its normal color now as he looked over to Nikita. "Don't feel bad about it," he murmured, referring to how long she was out. "You needed that time to heal. You wouldn't be able to smile at me like that without it," he added with a wide grin. "I will bring it up to the other captains at the next meeting with the captain-commander, so they they will all be prepared as well," Mizuki said, the idea just coming to her. She made a mental note to remember that as she stood holding the tea cup in her two hands, enjoying the warmth from it. |

Hiroki walked towards the squad four barracks, already exhausted. The lieutenant had just finished his cleaning duties, which had taken longer because he had volunteered to take over another squad members duties. Looking back on it, he probably should have had someone else do it since now he had even more work to do. He doubted he would even finish all of it.
(Throwing the twins in somewhere random)
Eiichi was leading the way back home from the market. Behind him, Eiji pulled a wagon filled with the groceries. Much to Eiichi's annoyance, his brother used his abilities to make the wagon all because he didn't want to carry anything, though he did on the condition that Eiji pulled the cart.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Corynn smiles while walking next to Aoi. "This has kinda been a fun today, minus the attack earier." She says having already pushed the idea, that this whole thing is a bad idea, out of his head.
Ichiro blinks confused, "What?" He stammers before realizing what he was going on about. "Oh, yeah... I didn't get taught that by my parents, and my high school wouldn't let me take the class." He adds remembering his time on the living side. |

Nikita watched him quietly, enjoying the light-heartedness in the way he moved and admiring the enjoyment he found from his chips. Then she actually blushed at his response and smiled a bit more before turning back to her glass of water and finishing it off. She let out a light sigh then before looking back to Mitsuo, and sitting up a bit more, "My aunt and uncle have to be worried sick about me by now." She murmured a bit worried about them now as well. It looked as if she was thinking on trying to stand up at this point. Though that was perhaps not the best idea for her quite yet.
Kousei nodded with a smile to his captain. "I think that would be perfect." Then he took to tying his hair back into a ponytail, a few of the shorter pieces falling to his face, after that he tied the bandana back about his forehead as well. Kousei finished his tea and then rose to his feet and stretched. "I will go and deliver that message to Captain Mitsuo now, if you like?" He offered her lightly, giving a light bow to his captain.

*ᴿᵃᶤᶰᶜᵃˡˡᵉʳ*: Takeshi was taking his sweet time getting to the squad four barracks, on an errand to pick up more fresh bandages. Squad eleven tended to to their training sessions no-holds-barred, and so they went through their stock of bandages much faster than any of the other divisions. He usually left errands like this to the lower ranking members, but decided he needed to get out of the barracks for a break. Besides, he caught hold of rumors of an arrancar attack and was curious to see if anyone from another division knew anything more. This was my best idea as to why he needed to visit squad four xD~~~ *ᴿᵃᶤᶰᶜᵃˡˡᵉʳ* and gamergirl09: Aoi nodded. "Yeah, it has," she agreed. SIt had certainly been a more eventful day than she was used to, though she was not complaining. She was happy to have another person to talk to, and she was learning more about her city to top it all off. ~~~ gamergirl09: "High school?" Byakuya repeated with a raised eyebrow. However he quickly pushed the thought away for later and poured more tea into Ichiro's cup. "Don't worry yourself over it, many people have made the same mistake over the years," he said. ~~~ 𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓿: "I guess you have a point there," Mitsuo murmured. He gave his chair a spin before getting up again and slowly making his way back to Nikita. "I'd say I could bring you back, but I really don't think it's a good idea for you to move too much right now," he said. "Sorry..." He looked out the wide open sliding door, and then across the room at a different window. He went over to open it as well, wanting as much fresh air to flow through as possible. "Is there anything else you need?" he asked. "Oh! Yes, I think now would be good," Mizuki said, nodding to Kousei. "Thank you, I had nearly forgotten," she added with a quiet chuckle. She took one more sip of her tea and set the empty cup beside the tea kettle. "Thank you."

"So far it's been nicer being here on my first day than almost everyday that I lived in America." She says not realizing that she is saying her thoughts out loud.

"It was that bad over there?" Aoi asked. She had slowed her pace down a bit from when they first started on their mission, starting to feel a bit tired from the hollow attack. It was nothing a momentary break wouldn't cure, however.

"I will not deny that," Byakuya said, setting the kettle down. It seemed that for the moment Ichiro had forgotten about his crazy idea to get him involved in some game, but Byakuya was not about to remind the younger captain of that.

"I see," Aoi murmured. She stopped to take another look at the picture in the newspaper and then up at the street name. With a slight shake of her head, she continued straight across the street after determining this wasn't the right place to turn.
Byakuya moved back across the room to seat himself at his desk. He reached to either arm and let his sleeves down, they had been rolled up to avoid dipping into his ink. He held up one of the pages and set it at the top of a large stack of paper after deeming it dry enough.

Hiroki glanced up at the sky as he walked. Focusing his gaze back to the ground, he noticed Takeshi heading in the same direction. Seeing him, Hiroki couldn't help but let out a sigh. Squad eleven didn't exactly like squad four. They saw them as weak, though Hiroki never argued with that fact. Taking a deep breath, he moved quickly to approach the other lieutenant. "Hello, Lieutenant Kurosawa," He greeted politely. "What are you doing here?"
Eiichi noticed Aoi walking past the street that they were on. "Aoi!" He called, waving. Glancing at his brother, he said, "Come on," before tuning back to run to catch up. Eiji on the other hand muttered something under his breath, as not being a friendly people person he wanted to just go home instead of chatting away with their classmate. However, he followed behind reluctantly.

She jumps and turns around when she hears Aoi's name get called and sees the two boys and couldn't help the smile that draws itself on her face.

*ᴿᵃᶤᶰᶜᵃˡˡᵉʳ* : Takeshi had been closely studying a strand of hair as he approached the fourth division's barracks, but at Hiroki's greeting he blew it away. "Ah, Madoka," he grunted. He stopped in front of the lieutenant and gave him a very brief nod. "We're out of fresh bandages over at the eleventh, the fourth was the obvious choice for where to get more," he explained. He looked up at the division entrance and a slight smirk came to his face. "Guess you guys don't have that problem," he commented offhand. ~~~ *ᴿᵃᶤᶰᶜᵃˡˡᵉʳ* and gamergirl09 : I think the house should still be there, broken down and abandoned~]] Aoi stopped when she heard her name. Turning around to see Eiichi and Eiji and smiled a bit and waved back. "Hey!" she called. "Grocery shopping?" she asked, noticing the wagon full of grocery bags. ~~~ gamergirl09 : Byakuya's eyes looked up from his papers at Ichiro. "And? I am not worried about my own reputation," he said calmly. One corner of his mouth was curled ever so slightly upward at his comment but it disappeared as he started flipping through the stack of papers, organizing it.

"It's still in ruins... Maybe something like a hollow is living there?" She mumbles not knowing that these boys knew about hollows.
"What! You actually don't mind people thinking we're friends?" Ichiro asks actually shocked but then smiles and adds "It'll be nice to say I have a friend again." He then takes another sip from the tea. |
