Haruna thought for a moment and shrugged as she strolled alongside him, "Because, you're the only one who tries to. The lower chaired Shinigami are too frightened to talk to me or they just don't try." she told him simply.

"Sounds like something they'd do," Mitsuo laughed. He found it amazing how long the Quincies have upheld their bitterness toward shinigami and Soul Society, but then again they were nearly wiped out. "So now let me ask another question: how come you're so interested in us? I've never met a Quincy who didn't shoot at me the moment they saw me."

Aoi sat down and looked over the page Eiichi showed her. She picked up the pencil and erased before rewriting her answer, double-checking with what Eiichi had once more before nodding and setting the pencil down. "Thanks," she said, smiling to him.

Hotaru stepped into the lab not a moment after Ameko and nearly dropped the jar he was holding. "C-Captain! Hello!" he blurted out, immediately thinking he should've stayed quiet.

Nikita nodded, "That's a good question." she replied lightly as she leaned against the fence near to her. "I found an interest in Shinigami because you are interesting. I read the history and I know the stories about the wars and the battles between our kind. But, I don't much care. I'm interested in you because you are something different and new. The way you form a whole society with division that help to preserve the safety for the world. Quincies..." she shrugged lightly, "Sure, we have the higher ranking members in the Sternritter and we have our Wandenreich, but those are different. You have a full system, a full net of security." she replied lightly. "As well, I wouldn't have been able to shoot you anyway, I'm useless with my bow!" she added with a laugh and a shrug.

Mitsuo, for one of the few times in his life, wore a serious expression as he listened to Nikita. It had been quite a while since he heard mention of the Sternritter and Wandenreich. However he quickly pushed those serious thoughts away and put on his grin once more. "Well, we are very proud of our system," he said. Then he started laughing. "But seriously? A Quincy who isn't good with their bow? That's like a shinigami who can't wield a sword!"

Nikita blushed lightly and shrugged, "I've developed my own skills." she told him with a smile and a light wink then. She brought her heel up and tapped it lightly, "Hirenkyaku, using Reishi beneath your feet to move at quick speeds. I've learned to use that much better than most. And my Seele Schneider as swords themselves rather than arrows like most." she smiled lightly and shrugged again, "It's not that I can't use my bow, it's just that I'm a rather terrible shot." then she tipped her head to the side and her eyes sparked brightly, "I could show you if you'd like? My Hirenkyaku and Seele Schneider I mean."

Mitsuo lifted himself away from the tree and was now leaning forward on the shaft of his spear as he listened to Nikita. He always thought Seele Schneider looked like swords. "Nah I want to see how bad of a shot you are first," he said, teasing her a bit. After snickering a bit he stood up straight and gave her a proper answer. "Sure, go ahead. I showed you my zanpakuto, now it's your turn to share your combat secrets."
Is it ok that I kinda ship them? xD]]

Nikita laughed gently and rolled her eyes, "I'll give you low standards first." she told him as she took out a Seele Schneider from her belt and then glanced around for a target and nodded to the mailbox ahead of them, "That, I'll try for that." it was hardly 15 feet away from them. She brought up her bow, Reishi crackling around her a bit. She shot the arrow then and missed by about 4ft. She laughed at herself and rolled her eyes with a light blush. "Ok there's my worst." she told him before shaking away the bow and then redoing her ponytail before she looked at him and gave a wink before disappearing with a single movement. This was her amazing speed she'd developed.

Mitsuo had been too busy laughing to see the look Nikita gave him before she disappeared. By the time he finished wiping a tear from his eye, he blinked a few times and looked around, now noticing she was gone. "Wait, what? ...Oh." he murmured. Still looking around, he tried to find where Nikita had disappeared off to, part of him hoping she hadn't gone and left completely. "Compared to your first demonstration, this one was incredible," he said loudly.

Nikta laughed lightly, she was just running around the block and above them, jumping here and there. This was one of her favorite things to do. If you looked close enough there was a shadow of a blur that flickered by now and then. She'd trained all her life on this tactic as well as her sword play and the was extremely proud. Then in an instance she was behind him, a soft gust signalling she was there. Her Seele Schneider was out and wrapped lightly about his neck and she laughed lightly in his ear. "Tada!" she chimed before stepping back and slipping the Seele Schneider away into her belt again.

"It takes quite a bit of skill to sneak up on me like that," Mitsuo said, laughing along with Nikita. "You're lucky I wasn't in fighting mode." He looked to either side before taking a step closer and leaning forwards a bit. "Don't tell any of my fellow shinigami, but those Seele whatever things are pretty cool too," he said, his voice lowered. "I mean, it's a glowing sword! Plus, you don't have to worry about losing it forever if it breaks!"

Nikita smiled lightly to him and rolled her eyes as she leaned back against the tree now, "Oh please, you wouldn't have seen me coming anyway." she laughed. As he complimented the Seele Schneider she had she actually blinked and nodded in response, "I suppose they are handy, if your zanpakuto breaks, it's gone." she glanced to his spear and then her eyes flickered down the street towards an energy shift. "There's more of you here." she told him lightly as she rose to standing again, her eyes fixed down the road.
Haruna strolled with Madara down the streets quietly until ahead she finally spotted two figures. "It looks like Mitsuo from the Seventh Division." she murmured to him lightly. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she tried to pick out the other figure, though she noted the white and blue uniform, "She looks like a Quincy?" she added curiously.

"You don't know for certain," Mitsuo replied with a smirk. He gave the spear a spin and sheathed it as a katana once more. At Nikita's last comment he followed her gaze down the street, also sensing the two additional spirit powers. "More of me? That's a pretty cool trick," he murmured, and then laughed at his own comment. Once the two sources became more distinct he spoke again. "You're right. Wow~ Karakura sure is popular today~"

(I even went and looked at the front page! I meant to type it I promise XD)
Nikita nodded lightly and tipped her head to the side as she watched them carefully, she wasn't sure about these ones. Her eyes flicked to Mitsuo, "Do you know them?" she asked lightly as she looked to him for a moment, gauging his reaction to the two he saw. She could leave in an instant if needed but if this was an opportunity to learn more than she was willing to stay. With that her eyes moved back towards the two Shinigami strolling down the street towards them.

Mitsuo narrowed his eyes, nodding eventually. "Yeah, I know them, I know everyone in Soul Society~" he said. "It's the captain of the eleventh division. Looks like the other one is one a' his seated officers. Wonder what they're doing here... did I miss an emergency announcement or something?" He scratched his head as he wondered out loud, still watching the two walking down the street.

Nikita watched the two closely, taking in each move. Something felt different about them and she could see it in Madara's eyes when they came close enough. He was a fighter and that's all he knew. A light smile flicked to her lips and she tipped her head to the side just a bit before looking over the smaller girl next to him and checking her over. She was harder to read, her expression was rather blank.

"Likewise Madara," Mitsuo answered, nodding to both the captain and third seat. "You two didn't come all the way out here just to see me, did you? That's very touching~" he joked after Madara finished speaking. He was about to warn Nikita not to mention fighting to the captain, but it seemed it was already too late as Madara brought it up himself.

He thought for a moment and leaned over to Nikita. "You have to watch out for this guy, his definition of 'dance partner' is not normal," he whispered to her. "I could ask you the - wait, I just did..." Mitsuo started. He cleared his throat, and crossed his arms. "Well, unlike a certain someone, I came here on actual business. The largest supermarket in the district my division is in charge of was having a huge sale on the chips I like, so I dropped everything and came over. It's the next town over," he said, speaking as if it was the truth. He waited a moment before speaking once more. "There was a dangerous hollow in my district, I came to make sure it was taken care of properly."
