Horizonwhistle and Elkprance

Horizonwhistle is a long-furred grey molly with a bright ginger tabby tail and amber eyes. Her grey fur is soft and orderly, but the ginger bits tend to be messier and hard to control. Her entire tail is ginger tabby--bright red with russet stripes--and some patches of ginger run up her back and haunches. A ginger patch also covers the right side of her face, including her right ear and eye. Her amber eyes are flecked with gold.
Horizonwhistle has a beautiful voice. She's good at singing and can match any pitch and tune she's heard before. She's rather charismatic; many cats find it difficult to dislike her and she always has plenty of complements for every cat. She's patient and is a good listener, making time in her day to check in with all of her Clanmates, even ones that are not very friendly in return. Every cat deserves to have a good friend.

Elkprance is a white tom with chocolate tabby points and dark green eyes. His ears, tail and paws are tipped with dark brown fur and the same color makes tabby markings up his legs and at the corners of his eyes. A fainter chocolate hides in his undercoat, giving his spine and ruff some brown coloration, pale and shimmering. His dark green eyes are narrow and shaded by the chocolate border, giving him a tired or saddened resting expression.
Elkprance is a uptight young tom, taking everything very seriously and seemingly unable to relax. He's obsessed with doing the right thing and will take a long time to make choices, fearing they might have consequences he cannot see. He is always meticulously groomed and stands tall; posture makes the cat, so he says. He's not very good at hunting or fighting, having rather poor hand-eye (hand-paw?) coordination. But he is a good judge of character and, in a pinch, can function as a mediator when dealing with outsiders, as he's quite good at reading their intentions.

Brokensight is a white-and-fawn ticked tabby tom with stunning violet eyes and a twisted hind leg. His bottom half is white: his stomach, legs, chest and chin and the bottom part of his tail. On top is a ticked tan tabby coat, covering his flanks and head. His right hind leg is twisted at the hip, withered and useless. His left hind leg is splayed as well, but only at the ankle, making it difficult but not impossible to use it. He was born with this condition. Brokensight has bright violet eyes with lavender rings around the iris. His eyesight is unparalleled and so Brokensight typically acts as a camp guard, using a high vantage to watch over his Clan's rather exposed camp and warn of dangers.
Brokensight is focused. He isn't one to procrastinate and faces his problems head-on. His disability has encouraged him to learn creativity and he's always trying to look at problems from new angles or find a second life for objects many cats would simply throw away. He hates messy surroundings and is always trying to pick up around camp. Brokensight can lack patience, especially for cats that put off their responsibilities, and masks his irritation with witty humor. The more jokes he makes, the more annoyed he is.

Cliffpool is a cinnamon smoke cat with amber eyes. A single solid stripe runs down their spine to wrap rings around their tail, and a dark cinnamon splotch sits on the bridge of their nose. Their paws are snowy white, as are the tips of their ears. Their smoke pattern gives them more brown coloration around their spine and ruff, fading to an off-white silvering around their chest, stomach and paws.
Cliffpool is an easygoing cat that goes with the flow. They don't like making a scene and rather themself be uncomfortable rather than ask anyone else to change what they're doing. They aren't particularly sociable, but do try and go out of their way to make sure others feel included. They enjoy heights and can often be found high above the ground in trees or on cliffsides, basking in the sunlight. Their favorite color is red.

Kestrelglare is a chocolate rosetted tabby cat with grey eyes. His brown fur is spotted with darker leopard-like rosettes. He is lighter in color on the bottom half: his legs, stomach, chest and chin all are a pale tan. A single white diamond marks his chest. He is a lithe cat with tall, angular ears and a narrow muzzle. His grey eyes reflect silver in the dark. His gaze is icy, seeming to stare into a cat's soul.
Kestrelglare is the quiet and judgmental type. He's quite pessimistic and always thinks the worst of any cat, watching closely for them to make mistakes and then thinking his low expectations are justified when they inevitably slip up. He finds it difficult to trust others, but those he does decide to trust have his full loyalty. Kestrelglare is a brilliant hunter and battle strategist.

Shinedusk is a cream-and-grey molly with green/blue heterochromatic eyes. Her pelt is odd, with her left side mostly cream with some grey streaks and her right mostly grey with large cream tabby dapples. Both the pale ginger and grey are of the same brightness, neither lighter or darker than the other. She has a very pink nose and long whiskers. Her tail is short but feathery.
Shinedusk is a cat of opposites: she needs outside validation, but dreads being noticed by others; she is brave when it comes to physical challenges, but is too cowardly to face even slight emotional hardships; she's a perfectionist in habit, but very messy when it comes to organizing her things or her time. She loves swimming but hates the rain. And for the love of StarClan, don't ask Shinedusk to go anywhere quickly: she's not horrible at short sprints, but gets tired quickly and is a very slow runner.

Barkpaw is a chocolate tabby tom with green eyes. His fur is very dark brown with nearly black tabby markings overtop. His chest and stomach are brushed with a brighter brown, still dark, but more gold that makes the color pop against his dark pelt. His green eyes have blue rays around the pupil, making them look almost teal. He has strong shoulders and long whiskers.
Barkpaw always tries his best. He doesn't know how to do anything in half measures and gives everything his all. He sometimes goes a bit over the top in battle training, not recognizing his own strength--a strength that is growing quickly along with his body. Barkpaw has a gentle heart and hates when cats don't get along. He's often trying to force arguing cats into conversations with each other, believing that they can talk it out and make up their differences, but he doesn't yet have the experience to know what to say or do and tends to make things worse.

only these two this morning; I'm gonna work really hard to get the rest of the Granite Circle outlined today (it's only been a wip for a year and a half now...) Wish me luck~

Myrtleleaf

Rubbleshade is a medium-furred golden chocolate tom with tabby points and amber eyes. His fur is a pale golden brown, appearing dappled with slightly lighter and darker shades. His points are a more solid brown color, making a mask of his face as well as coating his paws and tail-tip; these solid patches are cut with tabby markings of an even darker color. Tabby stripes are in the golden color too, pale and faint. He has white speckles on his chest and front paws.
Rubbleshade is a noble tom. He holds himself tall at all times and believes the safety of the Clan as a whole is worth more than the happiness of any individual cat. He is particularly invested in ensuring the elders are heard and comfortable, honoring them for what they've done for the Clan. He doesn't hide his opinions and is very open about what he believes is right. Rubbleshade is nervous in the nighttime and is phobic of total darkness; he has an irrational fear of going blind.


stormshade1 still chipping away at DarkClan (; I got a few things I think you'll like, but I'm waiting for a few of the history bits to click into place. I've been tumbling through a few different sources of inspiration and none of them quite fit the vibe yet.

Cherrypetal is a white calico molly with red and black markings along her spine and tail. She has blue eyes. Her white fur is marked by teardrop-shaped dapples, like fallen petals, mostly in various shades of red and ginger, but some midnight black. These markings fall along her spine and neck, growing larger towards her tail, which has larger patches of calico patterning. Her blue eyes are both bright, but her left eye is significantly darker than her right. She is smaller than average with a short body length that makes it impossible to match an opponent's grapple.
Cherrypetal is a passionate cat that leans more heavily on her emotional reasoning rather than logical. She's a cat that will trust her instincts and her gut feelings without question. More than once her "bad vibes" towards outsiders were justified by later attacks and she's been called in as a living lie detector by the deputy. She's good at reading small emotional cues and picking up on hidden struggles. She can be impatient and isn't the best listener because of it, but she has been working on that and tries her best.

Stormstar (once Stormquill) is a black smoke ticked tabby molly with amber eyes. Her fur is silver with dark tips, giving her pelt a shimmering appearance. It's darker where her fur is thicker: around her spine, neck, and the fronts of her legs, fading to almost silver at her underbelly and paws. Dark stripes--solid, heavy--mark her legs, tail, and forehead, as well as a ring around her neck. Smaller solid flecks lie around her shoulders and flanks, making ticked markings down like drops of rain. Her amber eyes have darker flecks. Her right ear has a pair of notches and a long scar runs down her right shoulder to the middle of her chest.
Stormstar is a fighter. Her bravery is unparalleled and she's always the first into battle, even before she became deputy and then leader of her Clan. She loves the simplicity of a fight and rather hates the politics of them. She isn't an aggressor and doesn't look to start any trouble, but she's not going to negotiate or try to diffuse the situation with peaceful talks. No, if another Clan wants a fight, Stormstar will rise to the challenge and enjoy every moment of it. She's learned to delegate delicate tasks to her deputy, as she has little patience for solving inter-Clan problems and makes for a poor mediator. She loves training apprentices and often tags along on training sessions.

kinda ref for this patterning. Realistically she'd probably be this light with silver shading, but as a design I'd make her a mid-dark grey with a silver underbelly and pure black markings.

𝐛𝐥𝟒𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐥 sure!

Valleyspark is a dark ginger marbled tabby molly with a single white paw and yellow eyes. Her fur is a dark russet, swirled with lighter ginger in thick, irregular markings. Her front right paw is snowy white, trailing speckles up her leg. A curved scar mars the white fur on that paw. Her tail is banded with dark and light color, and lighter fur rings her left eye. She has short but dense fur and a thick tail.
Valleyspark is a senior warrior and as such has wisdom gained from her past mistakes. She cares little of other Clans' experiences outside of her own and nothing for outsiders; her Clan is her entire world. She knows her territory inside and out and has seen everything that could possibly be found there. Valleyspark is a charismatic speaker and has a way of putting her emotions into her words that makes others want to listen to what she has to say.

Falconrain is a golden chocolate tabby point molly with yellow eyes. Her fur is a soft golden yellow with dark brown tabby markings on her points. Her spine is more brown than gold, speckled with dark flecks. Her entire front--her chest, chin, muzzle and front paws--are white, the splotch wrapping around her neck like a collar. She has rounded features and small ears. Her tail has a tufted tip.
Falconrain has always been smart. Even as a kit, she knew she wanted to use her curiosity and quick thinking as a medicine cat and as an apprentice quickly picked up all the herbs and their uses. Working with cats was where she struggled, as she found it difficult to explain herself and wasn't confident speaking to any cat older than she was. Falconrise was very close to her mentor and treated them like family. She's still learning how to interact with patients without them to guide her or apologize for her awkwardness.


stormshade1 I also have a Mapleflame to work on ;-; Along with 50 other cats.....
I made her design like sugar maple bark! I think too many people go Maple=red (or calico, for Mapleshade) and there's so much more room in the design space!!

Mapleflame is a grey spotted tabby molly with amber eyes. Her fur is dark with lighter markings, running like thin dashed lines from her spine to her stomach. A very dark grey stripe runs from the back of her skull to the base of her tail, with two thinner lines running parallel on each of her flanks. Her muzzle and hind paws are pale grey and a white splotch marks her forehead. Her nose is delicate and pink. She has a scar along the right side of her face that cut all the whiskers from that side, so she tends to enter dens and dark spaces to the left side.
Mapleflame is a feisty molly who is always in the middle of arguments. They don't even have to be about important topics or things she cares about: she just likes being contrary. She's an excellent skirmisher and even better at one-on-one duels, able to read her opponent's next move by the smallest of signs. While typically fickle and mercurial about her preferences, Mapleflame can be surprisingly stubborn and patient when she really, really wants something.
