Foxcloud is a medium-furred white tom with ginger points and dark blue eyes. He is rather lanky and long-limbed, with tall ears, a narrow muzzle and a long, feathery tail. He is always immaculately groomed-- even in high-stress situations or poor weather, nothing seems to be able to touch his put-together appearance. He is well suited for cold weather.
Foxcloud is smart, but he isn't wise. He has little common sense, which leaves him blundering into the same mistakes over and over, unable to learn from them. He struggles with social cues too: subtlety isn't really his thing, and while he's great at reading body language better than most, vocal misdirections like sarcasm or jokes go right over his head. His heart tends to be in the right place, though, and kindness is second nature to him: Foxcloud could never imagine being mean on purpose, it makes him feel horrible. He can, however, have a short temper and grows frustrated easily when a problem isn't solved on the first try, though his temper is usually turned on himself rather than others.

Spyder is large, even for a mercat, and struggles to navigate the denser parts of the reef. Her fur is a deep chocolate brown with some lighter streaking; her scales are present on the bridge of her nose, her chest, the fronts of her legs and a V-shape over her hips, along with her entire finned tail, are stunning metallic black. Like many mercats, she has a thick undercoat that catches air bubbles and gives her fur a smoke or shiny appearance. She has bi-colored eyes: both dark amber with a blue crescent on the outer edges.
Outwardly, Spyder tries her best to appear the perfect protector. Her size and strength make it easy for her to volunteer for reef patrols and camp guard positions and she's become a solid and reliable member of the community. She tries to ensure the smaller cats in the group feel safe when she's around, and takes great pride when they trust in her. However, her size makes it difficult to follow where her friends can go: no longer can Spyder play chase among the kelp forests or hide in the deep, dark niches within coral structures. She feels an immense longing to be like the others and lonely when she's left behind.

Duskstripe is a black molly with ginger striped markings and pale orange eyes. Her dark fur is cut through with a pair of distinct ginger stripes, like clawstrikes, diagonally across her shoulders. Another pair of thin ginger rings sit at her tail-tip and a single orange slash cuts across her left eye and reaches over her muzzle. Smaller ginger flecks can be found in her chest and ruff if one looks closely. Her front two paws are tipped with white boots over the toes and the very tip of her tail is also white. Her pale orange eyes have gold flecks around the pupils.
Duskstripe is a selfless cat. She finds joy in gift-giving and is always on the search for small trinkets that she thinks her Clanmates will enjoy. She has a sharp memory for cats' favorite things, even if she only heard it in passing. It's not uncommon for her to leave smooth, lake-tumbled bits of glass or stones of a cat's favorite color beside their nest for them to find, even if she isn't close friends with them. Duskstripe rarely distinguishes between cats, trusting everyone equally unless they give her a reason not to. She finds cooperation easy, even with difficult individuals, and is skilled at finding compromise. She is near impossible to anger.

Mudthorn is a long-furred, chocolate classic tabby tom with white markings and amber eyes. His dark fur is rich brown, swirled through with ligher, nearly golden markings in gentle arcs and faint smears. His front paws are white nearly to the shoulder, as is his chest, chin, muzzle and stomach. His dark amber eyes glow gold in the dark.
Mudthorn hates being told what to do. Half of his actions are rooted purely on spite: he simply likes doing what other cats think he shouldn't be. It's hard for him to turn this part of his personality off, so Mudthorn often ends up pushing or breaking his friend's boundaries, leaving him to have to rebuild trust. He is impossible to intimidate and will go to great lengths to get back at those that wronged him or his loved ones. Mudthorn tends to jump into problems swinging, preferring a verbal or physical confrontation rather than diplomacy.

Shadow of Crow's Wing over Waning Moon (Crow) is a midnight black molly with a single white blaze on her chest and orange eyes. Crow is a lithe cat, all edges. She has narrow features and while she isn't particularly tall or long-limbed, she appears taller because the rest of her body is so slim as to be nearly not there at all. She has tall, triangular ears and a short muzzle. Her orange eyes are very pale, nearly yellow but of a deeper, redder shade. Her whiskers are dark but long.
Any cat that doesn't know Crow very well might never hear her voice. She is a cat of few words, viewing conversation as distracting and altogether unnecessary for most communication, preferring to keep to body language and expressions. The best word to describe Crow is focused: she has a singleminded drive to complete whatever task she was given and does not tolerate laziness or deviations from her goal. She will leave behind any cat that is slowing her down. Crow doesn't like confrontation and will simply leave if she's uncomfortable-- this means she hardly ever fixes flaws or relationships, prefering to ignore them until they either solve themselves or blow up in her face.

@toothlesshasteeth and YOU get a cat too even if I typo'd ur tag three times. and yeah, this was a game on the original forums that was very popular back in the day. I enjoy making character designs more than I enjoy using them. Hence this thread. And cac+ but that one takes a little more of my time and I'm a little burnt out after the cac:poll game. I'll probably get to those after I finish my design for Spark's grab bag tho

Cindermask is a pale grey smoke tom with dark, nearly black points and yellow eyes. His fur, a silvery smoke, is contrasted greatly with his darker markings on his muzzle, paws and tail: a dark, matte grey that covers his fur like he was covered in ash. Flecks of the darker color mark his shoulders and spine, as well as the top of his head. A dark mask sits over his muzzle and around his eyes.
A generally jovial tom, Cindermask always has a complement ready for any occasion. He isn't the wittiest, but he is always genuine and sees the best in every cat. It takes a lot to break his optimistic good mood. The one thing that always gets him down is the cold: he cannot stand his paws being cold and it's the one time this generally good-tempered tomcat is snappish and irritable.

Frozenjaw is a very pale grey molly with darker agouti markings and hazel eyes. Her fur is close to white, only noticeably grey when she's surrounded by fresh-fallen snow. A darker grey stripe runs down her spine, creating a ring around her neck and rings around her tail. Grey flecks dot her shoulders and beneath her eyes. She has a single spot of pure white on her chest. Frozenjaw was born with a significant overbite, which--ironically--can be painful for her in cold weather. She prefers hunting and fighting using her claws rather than fangs, and since it can be uncomfortable for her to carry heavy prey in her jaws, works doubly hard in hunting so that she can ask others to help carry prey back to camp.
As for personality, Frozenjaw is a fairly average warrior. An ambivert who has periods of extreme social anxiety followed by periods of extreme sociality, she often feels off balance and overwhelmed. She appreciates having a small circle of close friends that she can share her worries with, as holding too much in weighs on her immensely; Frozenjaw isn't the best cat to hold in confidence, as it's hard for her to keep a secret. She often holds herself responsible for other cats' actions.

Psi Nygma

Goose is a medium-furred, cinnamon and white molly with amber eyes. Her pattern is mostly white, with amber-brown splotches: a large spot sits over the right side of her face and neck, another wraps around the middle of her right front leg, another crosses her spine to her left haunch. Smaller dapples trail between the larger markings. She has long, white whiskers and narrow paws. A green-and-black spotted collar rings her neck, though it is mostly concealed by her fur. She is slightly overweight--the consequence of always having more than enough food around the house.
A housecat, Goose loves exploring the streets. She's uninterested in hunting or fighting, but the social dynamics of territorial cats intrigues her and she loves learning about others' way of life. Goose is immune to the cold shoulder and can be nosy, pushing harder whenever she's politely turned away. She has a sharp mind and is quick with both puns and metaphor. Goose likes to think herself a poet, though the quality of her poetry is up to the interpretation of the listener.
