[ LOL go stop Cass from doing somethin' reckless ]
Stile considered himself lucky that he ended up unscathed after Fiona of all people tried to effin' spear him, but seeing that Lilah got hit instead made him mad. Really, really mad. He whipped his head around at Fiona, getting to his feet and jabbing a finger in her direction. "Are you crazy??" he yelled, practice sword tossed aside in anger and fists clenched tight. This just fueled his point that Class A kids were nothing but entitled jerks thinking they could just send a blade at whoever they wanted. "Lilah, are you okay?"
[ carry her...to the infirmary..]

Cassie trailed behind Fiona, looking several levels of pissed off. And this was the leader of the class? Jeezus, what did she have to look forward to? She was, however, happy to see that Fiona planned on apologizing. Look cool, psh, as if the new kid needed to be impressed or something. Insanity, this was.
Lilah winced, leaning her weight on her good foot, examining the cut on the other. Adrenaline was keeping her from feeling too much pain, although blood was beginning to ooze out and from what she could tell, it was reasonably deep. Ugh. Great. Her head snapped up when Stile started going off on Fiona. A look of panic crossed her features and she shuffled between the two. "Hey, hey! Stop it, Stile! I'm fine! See? Perfectly a-okay! And I'm sure Fiona here has a good reason for what just happened." And if she doesn't I seriously need to start rethinking my life choices...

Skylar loves detective games tbh. They can go full detective together!))
Skylar let out a sigh, closing her book with a soft thud. This wasn't going anywhere; it was too loud, not to mention the group that seemed to be fighting. She scooped the volume up into her arms, heading for the cafeteria door. Perhaps it would be a bit quieter in her dormitory. Unfortunately (or maybe it was fortunate?), she didn't get the luxury of finding out, because she almost walked right into Caspian. Startled, she jumped back. "Sorry!" She yelped. "I didn't see you!"

Fiona saw Lilah limping and tried not to immediately apologize profusely. She really hadn't meant to hurt anyone. Then again, she had thrown a spear at them. Hands shoved in her pockets and eyes down, she took a deep breath before piping up, "Uh, you guys okay? I kinda... Yeah, no, there's not really a good explanation." Looking up, she gave Lilah a small smile, "Want me to take you to the infirmary?"

Caspian blinked surprised to suddenly see Skylar. "Um your fine." He said giving her a look. "Just watch it though I'm thinking here." He said his tone sounding rather annoyed.

Skylar frowned. "Alright then. You don't have to be rude, mate." She sniffed, sounding annoyed beneath her British accent. "I did apologize, after all."

"Aye you did." Caspian said deicing to lay off of her. "Though since your hear I have a question for you. What do you think about that B class student Risher disappearing"? He asked carefully. Caspian knew Skylar wasn't like the other Class A students so she might not just blow it off like some of the others have.

Stile was seconds away from doing something really stupid, and it was good that Lilah stopped him because there was a higher chance of Fiona beating him up than vice versa. Standing his ground, he looked like he was physically simmering from holding his anger inside of his body like some kind of human molotov cocktail. "I'll just chalk it up to stupidity then," he muttered under his breath, glancing between both Lilah and Fiona. At Fiona's offer, his expression dropped and he had not a doubt in his mind that Lilah would hop on the chance to spend even a second alone with this girl. He did not look happy about it and tilted his head back. "Please no."

Lilah shot Stile a glare. Everyone made mistakes. Although some, apparently, made bigger, more deadly mistakes than others. At Fiona's offer, she blinked, stared at the other girl for a few seconds, then said, very bemusedly, "Huh? You- you take me... To the infirmary?" She laughed. "Look, I'm fine everyone! I don't need the infirmary, I swear!" She attempted to stand on the injured foot absentmindedly as she waved her hands around, sucking in a breath with a hiss. Okay, she wasn't fine, but she really could not be trusted with Fiona alone. That meant Stile wouldn't be around to make sure she didn't say anything stupid. "I can walk myself, anyways. I- probably -won't bleed out on the way there!" With a sheepish grin, she headed, albeit slowly and labored, towards the doors.

Fiona immediately glared at Stile, eyes flashing as she drew herself up to her full height for a moment. She wasn't going to be insulted by some mutant. But the sound Lilah made immediately drew her attention and she relaxed once more, moving forwards to try and support her, "Hey, please. Let me help." It would honestly look even worse for her of she didn't offer and the last thing she needed was for the administration to chew her out for another incident.

Lilah could already feel her heart rate picking up. Stile better giver her a real nice funeral. "Fine," she sighed lightly, hoping she didn't somehow appear weak by accepting her help. "I'm fine, though. Really. Ya just nicked me, nothing more!" A nick which was now dripping down her leg, like a normal tiny cut did. She gulped down a small lump of fear in her throat, internally giving herself a pep talk. After all, this was nothing, right? Just a nice person helping her out.

Stile brushed off Lilah's glare, simply rolling his eyes in response. He hardly thought that almost impaling someone with a spear counted as an accident, and didn't want to argue on the matter. Fiona's glare wasn't so easy to brush off, and after a bit of a challenging look he backed off, reaching to help Lilah but the redhead had already beat him to it. Now he didn't want to seem like a whiny jealous baby, but his face made him look like a whiny jealous baby. He muttered something under his breath and spun on his heel, praying that his pal didn't die on the way.

Fiona raised an eyebrow, but didn't protest the statement. If she wanted to say she was okay, that was fine. But she could see that it wasn't true. Glancing back towards Cassie, she nodded towards the door, "I'll meet up with you later, okay? Patrol early tomorrow morning, you'll do just fine!" With that, she turned her attention to the girl next to her. Taking a moment, she pushed open the door and began the long walk towards the infirmary. She wasn't quite sure what to say, so she blurted out the first thing that came to mind, "You nearly dodged it." Then, immediately regretting it, she decided to simply say nothing more. She seemed to be doing well when it came to doing the absolute wrong thing around Lilah.

Lilah stated ahead, focusing a bit too much on her breathing. In and out, in and out, normal, moderate levels of breathe. Yes, she was doing swell on not looking flustered, this was going simply swell. "Hah! Thanks," Lilah's smile was lopsided, although there was something in her eyes. Dissapointment, perhaps? She shrugged. "I should have actually dodged it, you know, entirely. Not scratch at all. If that was real, I'd have been dead. Maybe you should start throwing more random objects at me! Keep me on my toes."
Cassie nodded. The idea of patrol was even more scary, now. She could do literally nothing! How was she expected to go out there and hunt monsters? And Fiona certainly didn't seem a comforting figure anymore. God, she was screwed. Looking to Stile, she tried to make some friendly conversation to make up for Fiona's fault. "Hey, so is everyone here that crazy?" It was followed by a nervous laugh.

Stile let out a bit of a sigh, picking up the discarded weapons and hanging them back up on the wall. He'd almost forgotten that Cassie was there until she spoke up, looking at her over his shoulder. She was a newbie so talking to her really couldn't hurt. Plus, he had a lot of experience. Sucking in a breath, he dusted his hands off and laughed a bit at her question. "Hah, not everyone, although honestly you haven't even met the real crazies yet," he grinned, crossing his arms over his chest. "Consider yourself lucky you're even in Class A if you want to meet relatively normal people. Fiona's not so bad, but she doesn't quite like the other side much."

Fiona chuckled, reaching down and wrapping her arm under Lilah's shoulders to offer a little bit of support. She seemed a little out of it, though, judging by the amount of blood running down her leg, that was understandable. She really needed to check that spear, the blade shouldn't have been anywhere near sharp enough to do damage like this. But that would have to wait. Fiona was slightly relieved her comment apparently hadn't been taken as something insulting or rude, though she sure felt it had come out that way, and she looked down at her with a grin, "Careful, you might find yourself under attack by erasers during lecture." She hesitated for a moment, then spoke, "I didn't mean for you to get hurt. Well, yes I did. But not seriously hurt. And not from the spear, I wanted to just spar with you guys. So bruises, yes. Lacerations, no."

Lilah's face went blank in an intense effort to show how ah she currently felt. This was really not good. She stiffened up, praying that Fiona did not notice and did not question. Even though she tried, her ears flared up red, she could tell. Thankfully her face was normally a hue of red, so perhaps that wasn't as noticable. "It's definitely make lecture a lot more fun, you gotta admit," she winked at Fiona, mostly out of habit of doing so with her friends than actually trying to be suave. As she attempted to apologize- at least that's what Lilah thought it was -she frowned. "It's fine, okay? Stile might be pissed, but don't mind him. He's always pissed. But... Why didn't you just come ask us? Surprise spears aren't exactly polite."
Lucky she was in Class A? "I mean, I guess crazy isn't bad, I just don't want violent crazy, you know?" Cassie finally uncrossed her arms, running a hand through her hair in a gesture to relieve a small amount of stress. She found the whole segregation of the Classes strange. Was it all only because of the mutant thing? It seemed a little extreme... How Cassie had managed to stay so unjudgemental to all kinds of people, was a miracle. Was it because she didn't have a particularly privelaged upbringing? Because her school had been mixed, mutants and humans? "Is there something to the class rivalry? More than just the mutant thing, I mean?"

Stile made a weak smile at Cassie, scratching the back of his head. He dreaded to see her reaction at some of the other Class B students, but chose to leave her to that naivete. He dropped his hand and pursed his lips, mulling over the question in his head. The rivalry was pretty strange to him still, he'd seen a lot more extreme things, but he mostly had his own reasons for believing in the rivalry than culture divides. After a moment of thinking he just shrugged, trying to chalk it up as simply as he could, running his fingers against the rungs on the wall that held the pole-arms. "Both classes think they're better than the other, and you can probably see how that might cause some problems," he laughed a little, "but I suppose it's also the fact that Class A has a lot of upper-crust rich kids. Mix that in with some mutant kids and you get something explosive."

Fiona looked blankly down at her for a moment, nearly walking into a wall in her confusion. That was a wink. It was cheesy and silly, yes, but also oddly adorable. She just couldn't tell if it was out of some misguided attempt at flirting or trying to just create a healthy camaraderie. Deciding it had to be the latter, as there was no way she'd actually be trying to flirt right now, she cracked a smile. Though it didn't last as the conversation returned to the incident. Looking away, she shrugged as she tried to avoid the obvious answer, which was simply that she didn't care about being polite to a pair of mutts. Instead, she went for the less rude response, "Surprise spears are more fun?" Then she looked back down at Lilah's leg and blushed, "Though I guess not for you."

[ nooo Fiona my son why must you be this way ]
Fiona was half right. Lilah would most certainly try to flirt in a situation like this. Her issue was that her brain had stopped working and she could only hope her tongue had some good things to say. "What's a day at Bermuda without a little blood?" She snorted, finding her own jokes somehow irresistibly funny. Maybe the blood loss was getting to her... "A boring one! Please, stab me more." That sounded very weird. She swiftly tried to pick up those pieces. "Haha, not actually, please don't do that, I'm not sure my magic behind can handle many pointy objects. But the eraser thing, I think we have something good there. Rubber, malleable, and most definitely not going to cause my death! I mean, assuming you're not a very creative psychopath. You're not a very creative psychopath, right?" She waved a hand. "What am I talking about, course you're not. You're- Class A is too good for that, right?" Yes, nice save there, Lilah.
Cassie pursed her lips as she thought. Then she smiled and stepped closer to Stile, holding out a hand, as if to make a deal. "Cassie Steele, perfectly boring, useless human, who doesn't think she's better than other people, doesn't care if you're a mutant, and also didn't grow up rich." She beamed at him. "Promise I won't be that way, so don't hate me, alright? I may not be able to kill a monster, but maybe I can try and get the rest of Class A to be a bit nicer."

As Lilah spoke, Fiona grew more and more confused. She wasn't sure if Lilah actully wanted to be stabbed or have things thrown at her, and then there was the accusation of being a psychopath, which seemed highly unfair considering some of the other students here at Bermuda Bay were far closer to that description than she. Perhaps she was losing too much blood and they were going rather slow. Far too slowly for her liking, actually. She stopped and turned to look at Lilah, "I'm not going to stab you again unless it's either an accident or you really deserve it, I'm fairly certain that there are no restrictions on what Class a psychopath can be in, and I'm going to carry you to the infirmary because I get the feeling you're not quite doing as well as you say you are."
(*tries to make Fiona lowkey discriminatory. Instead makes her pretty much just straight ol' racist*)

"Haha, no!" Lilah hopped away from Fiona like she had just been shocked, stumbling to the ground as her ankles seemed to refuse to keep her upright. This was going very well. "I've done some pretty awful things, you know. Maybe I deserve to be stabbed. Did you know, I once I had a dream that I had killed, like, a deer? In the woods? And it was like, a perfectly normal, innocent deer? I didn't even eat it. I just killed it. Just left it there. That's pretty messed up, in my opinion." She grit her teeth getting back up. "Let's just get back to that half hug thing. I don't need to be carried."

Fiona tried not to laugh, but failed miserably, barely able to speak between chuckles, "I don't think that quite makes you a horrible person." As Lilah began to stand after her rather graceful collapse, Fiona crouched and effortlessly lifted Lilah in her arms, smirking slightly, "And I'm afraid you no longer have a choice in the matter. You're not allowed to say you can walk when you literally just fell on your butt."

"He-hey!" Oh no. Oh no. Or yes? Was this an oh no, or an oh yes situation? Because honestly, Lilah was struggling between those two emotions. On one hand, this was highly embarrassing and pathetic, Fiona must have thought she such a wimp. On the other hand, Fiona was carrying her. Carrying her! A nervous giggle bubbles from her throat as her shoulders raised in a vain effort to appear smaller in her arms. Sheesh, she really wished she was wearing a hoodie right now, the kind the zipped up all the way over the face. Alas, she was clad in only a tank top, her jacket probably forgotten with Stile in the training room. She felt particularly vulnerable. Seeing as she really had no other choice, as Fiona obviously had no plans to let her down, she pouted silently. Why was this happening? Lilah wasn't entirely stupid and blind, of course she had noticed the way Fiona wasn't a fan of the mutants. No one in Class A was, really. So why was this happening? Why had Fiona offered to carry her in the first place? Was it just to save her own rear end from punishment? It was probably that. Still, Lilah's mind wandered. Was she a special case? Because certainly this redhead had never been kind to Stile. She doubted Fiona would have carried Stile to the infirmary. Finally, she decided the best move was simply to ask. "Why are you doing this?"

Fiona wove through the halls, striding along as if Lilah weighed nothing at all. The infirmary wasn't too far now and she was quietly glad she'd been training so hard, as Lilah wasn't exactly short. She didn't even glance down as Lilah spoke, trying to come up with an answer that wouldn't force her to lose face. She was quiet for a few moments, then chose her words carefully, "If you passed out and fell, you'd hurt yourself even more and I'd end up carrying you anyways. Might as well skip a step and make sure you're not going to crack your head open at the same time. Besides," she looked down at her and gave her a sheepish smile, "I really do feel bad that you got hurt. So shut up and let me carry you."

Lilah did as told, shutting up and allowing herself to be carried. It wasn't like she could struggle much. She would just fall again and be picked up again. Might as well enjoy it, right? She was, however, a little saddened that she was correct in her assumptions. This was only to save Fiona's time and records. Class A, ever the perfect students. "I'm not that hurt," she continued to insist, gaze now half-lidded as she looked upwards. "Only a smidgen. A baby could survive this. Uhm!- not to say that I am a baby. I'm a young adult who is perfectly capable of handling herself." Instead of trying to say more stupid things and inevitably trail off, she just sighed, shutting her eyes. Ugh, she was a sleepy. "Thanks anyways. Try not to do it again though, I don't know how many surprise spears I can handle."

Fiona nodded, "No more surprise spears at you, got it." As they finally reached the infirmary, she managed to nudge the door open with her foot and slid inside, nearly smacking Lilah's head on the doorframe as she made her way through. It was empty and quiet except for the sound of shuffling in the back room, so she made her way to one of the beds and carefully lay Lilah down. Standing upright, she stretched her arms for a moment, then put them on her hips and smiled, "You good if I head out? I've got to go get ready for tomorrow."

"Thanks." Shoving her hands into her pockets, she gave her once last smile before heading out, making her way back towards the dorms. She'd sure made a bit of a mess of things. She'd need to go make sure Stile wasn't going to raise a stink. And she'd have to check on Cassie as well. At least Lilah hadn't been seriously hurt because of her stupidity.
