(Going to go ahead and do a small time skip if that is okay with everyone. I've decided the games will last all month. If there any convos you want to finish the games can "officially start on Monday" if not then feel free to post your starters)
Elysium City: Mid Morning to early Afternoon
The day had finally arrived! The Helios games were here and the city was abuzz with excitement. The streets were beginning to fill with people as they talked, trained and shopped at the local stores. The opening ceremonies were tonight which would kick off the games! Trainers from all over the world had come to compete and watch the games. Most of the gym leaders and elite four members from other regions got in last night but there were a few who decided to arrive last minute.
Alexander, who was signing autographs and taking pictures until he notices a small group of familiar trainers. Grinning he excuses himself to go talk to Drake, Lance and Steven. "I was wondering if you guys were coming at all!"
Kyle looked around in awe at everything around him. He could never get over how gorgeous the city looked especially now with the decorations for the Helios Games.
Neo watches from the edge as he observes all the trainers. Right now, he and a few other undercover grunts were scoping the area.
Professor Olive who was standing near the large Pokémon center looked around for someone. She was suppose to be meeting a couple of her collogues but couldn't see them. "I swear if they have gotten lost." She muttered to herself. This wouldn't be the first time.

i'll finish this encounter and then skip to the festival when they wrap up, but otherwise i'll throw up some starters for some characters at the festival)
Vivian-Rhea Town-Marcos
Vivian gasped at his comment. "You're a genius," she exclaimed springing to her feet. "I'm definitely doing it now! But I'll still make sure I'm there when you are performing!" An excited grin on the girl's face at the coming games, she would need to get signed up with the games starting so soon. "I'm going to end to the center to get signed up!"

Jay-Elysium City-Open
Jay jumped down from Nyx'x back, offering a pecha berry to the Hydregion, who happily consumed his favorite berry, before it was absorbed in red light as he got returned. The man stretched, as he bounced on his feet, excited for the coming matches he would have for the Helios Games. He had heard rumors of possible trainers, and some got his blood rushing faster. Before he could do anything, he needed food, having forgotten to have some in his rush to get to Elysium City.
Eleri-Elysium City-Open
The girl ran a hand through her hair as she walked, adjusting her bag. Trick floating alongside her, as the Phantump observed the festival, with him floating off briefly to observe a stop, his trainer wlaking over to observe the bakery that had caught her pokemon's eye. "We can get some in a bit, I want to check out the area bit more to be able to navigate," she promised the pokemon, as she also wanted to see if she could find other coordinators or even her cousin.
Nanji-Elysium City-Open
Nanji had gotten to the city the day prior, and was now walking the streets, Willow walked beside him, her ribbons wrapped around his arm. He had elected to compete in the contest portion, as he was still in a slump in regards to battles, and it was his first time actually participating in the games, and he just wanted to be able to have fun with his pokemon for his first time.
Grant-Elysium City-Open
Grant had gotten a job to get pictures of the Helios Games for a review article, and was to meet with the reporter today, but the man had failed to recall on where they were to meet, and was now to nervous to even ask for incase it might affect his job. He took a brief, his two Meowstic walking behind him, the male one walking up to him patting at his leg, hoping to provide comfort to the photographer.
Engi-Elysium City-Nero
Engi fidgeted with the hem of his jacket, the boy biting at his lip in thought. Taking a breath he mustered up the courage to walk up to the leader. "Uhm...sir," he asked Nero. "What would you like for me to start on?" He wasn't fully sure what he should do, and so far other grunts seemed to just also be standing around, and the boy was getting a bit anxious with the crowd.

Jessica stumbles but manages to keep her footing. Her bayleef wasn't so lucky and ended up fainting because of the attack.
Neo: Elysium City with Engi
"At the moment, blend in and keep your head down." Neo said keeping his eyes ahead of him. He spots the champion talking to a few members of the elite four from different regions. "However, if you want something specific, I would say check out the different arenas."

Marcos stood up and put his hands in his pockets and smirked. “Well logically one of us had to be.” He said in a slight smug tone. Stretching his back out he said,” I will go with you to sign up for the contest.”

Carwyn smiled as he entered Elysium City. He was excited to compete in any contests held, but had a different goal. He was hoping to find younger coordinator to take under his wing.

Lani was watching as a couple of trainers battled and trained with another. She was suppose to just be observing but she couldn't help but join in on the fun.
Jessica returns her Pokémon and smiles at him. "Thanks, guess we still have a long way to go huh?" She didn't expect to win especially when he pulled out earthquake.

Lani turns towards him and smirks. "Do you want to battle bud?" She questioned though that was probably obvious. Her Donphan seemed eager to battle just about anyone.

Carwyn made his way down one of the roads of Elysium City, stopping at a small Cafe. He was going to eat a quick lunch before heading off to fix up his pokemon

Garganta rolled alongside Lani as they went to talk to the tall man. He then rolled infront of his trainer and unfruled with a loud battle cry to show he was ready to battle.

The man whistled impressed by the shiny Pokemon. He pulls out his own Pokeball calls forth for his Ursaring. The bear Pokémon lets out a yell mainly in an attempt to intimidate his opponent.
Kyle happens to glance to the side to see what his partner was thinking. However, he quickly realized his Typhosian decided to wander off towards a cafe. "Blaze slow down!" He called out.

Donphan watched as the bear pokemon was sent out and let out a yell to try and intimidate him. However, this had the opposite effect and hyped. He then waited for Lani to tell him what to do.

Engi gave a nod to his leader's words, as he looked around. Fiddling with a poke all the boy headed off, as he got away from the crowd, he released his Fenniken, taking the pokemon up into his arms, to avoid getting separated from it.

Vivian yawned as she stretched her arms over her head. She hadn't gotten a decent sleep as she had been to excited about the games that she ended up only getting 3 hours of sleep. Circe bounced along at her feet, the Spoink excited to see everything going on around them, the small pokemon almost getting knocked over a few times by people not noticing it. "So when do you perform," she asked looking to her brother.

Jay walked around the city, looking for a good place to eat, he hummed as he walked. He was itching to get into a battle soon, seeing all the different trainers, but right now food was his priority. He lit up, spotting a familiar face. "Carwyn," he yelled, as he rushed through the crowd, before promptly pulling the other man into a hug. "How are you?"
