Whether it be romantic or platonic, what is the best relationship you have had?

With my younger sister and older sister. My mother and I can be a little shaky at times, but I still love her with all my heart.

Probably my current best friend. He doesn't value me less than his other friends like past friends have, and he's just a genuinely sweet and nice guy.

If familial counts, the relationship I had with my grandparents pretty much surpasses everything else. They raised me but I also saw them as my friends. I knew they'd do anything for me and the feeling was mutual. I was lucky to have them. I don't think I would have made it out of my teenage years without my grandma especially. I find myself comparing new relationships to them all the time. Like would they approve of who I hang out with, do these people treat me how I should be treated, etc.
Seeing how much they loved each other also set my own standard for romantic relationships too. (Which has gotten me complaints that my standards are unrealistic or too high before but like, screw that noise. I wanna be with someone as enthusiastic about me as I am them.)
It's definitely not like they were perfect. I kept arguing with my grandma about being LGBT+ right up until, and if my grandpa was still alive when I came out, I think I'd be hard pressed to convince him either. But after everything else, I saw that as more of a minor issue really because that was our ONLY issue we argued about aside from me scolding her for not taking care of herself when she was diabetic and kept getting nothing but sugar and refused to like, drink water instead of pepsi.
I could go on for ages, but you get the idea.

That's tough. My mom and I have an amazing relationship, but that's because she loves me unconditionally and would do pretty much anything for her children. That's great, and I am so grateful for her, but a mother's love is not something I can exactly reciprocate.
My relationship with my partner is much more equal. Neither of us loves each other unconditionally (nor should we--if your partner does something awful or treats you badly, you should leave), but we still love each other deeply and want to spend the rest of our lives together. It's great knowing you have someone you trust to face the world with.

I'm also going to have to say my husband. I don't think anyone really wants to hear me go on about why.

Platonically, I’d say my parents and my sister. We’re all very close. They’ve done a lot for me, more than others ever have. I know living with me isn’t easy.
