Summer still glared at Caspian as she grabbed the clothes that Cal had tossed to her and climbed back under the covers, changing as quickly as she could. When she came out, she was dressed in a grey swim tee and blue striped boxers. She stood up off of the bed and walked over to the couch, grabbing a throw pillow and hugging it to her chest. "Weird as in creepy-stalker weird. Duh."
Jake snorted, sitting down on Summer's bed and fiddling with a pen that was thrown on it. "So, do y-" he suddenly got cut off as a small tortoiseshell cat pounced on him, purring enthusiastically. "Uh... Is this your cat or Summer's?" He asked, petting it cautiously.

"Oh that is low. Well saw someone is black hoodie with the hood up walking quickly away from the dorm. So maybe that is your thief." Caspian said.

"Summer's," Lani answered. She sat on her own bed. "My pets are at home, meaning they're with my parents." She knew she wouldn't be able to take care of animals, so she had left them. She had plenty of pictures in her phone and on her laptop. "If Summer gets mad at me for her bed being a mess, it's your fault."

Summer smiled and walked up to Cal, fitting her hand in his. "Wait... You're telling me that you saw someone walking away from the door, in a suspicious black hoodie, and you didn't do anything?" She snapped, glaring at the boy. "Do you have rocks in your skull?" Summer knew she would regret being so mean to Cass later, but for now she was shaken and scared. Might as well take it out on someone.
Jake snorted, rolling his eyes. "Getting yelled at by Summer would be a dream come true! She can make a gay guy turn straight." He said lovingly, flopping down further on the bed. The cat screeched and jumped off if him, running into the kitchen. Sitting back up, Jake laughed. "Cats are so confusing. That's why I hate them."

"Hey man you are the boss." Caspian said slowly removes his hand thinking it was safe to look now. He wasn't sure what Cal was talking about but he didn't want to ask about it. Plus it probably wasn't his business. "So hold down the hatch got it."

Caspian flinched again. "I had no reason to confront the poor fellow or lady." He said with a little bit of attitude in his town. Geez what was her problem?

The tall boy, the tallest one in the room, shot Summer a look as she snapped to Cas. He and Cas by no means were best friends but they'd settled down to play a few games on the Xbox Cal had carted in from his house, and he was happy to share his junk food with Cas. They were friendly enough that Cal would probably tell people to quit picking on Cas or something if it ever happened. But at the same time, he understood where Summer was coming from. "Take it easy, Sum. You wouldn't have stopped anybody either," he told her wisely. But at the same time Cal shot him a warning glare for giving his girlfriend attitude. "Just, Cas, if you see them again - just stop them, okay? Now you know for future reference."

Lani raised her eyebrow and shook her head. "I think you need to work on your priorities. Or maybe the people on this side of the country are just weird. I'm starting to think you guys are just strange." She really did not understand why everybody loved Summer beyond her looks. She didn't seem like a nice person. "I like cats, but I'm totally biased. They're calm when dogs are loud. Oh, but I love dogs too."

Summer sighed and rolled her eyes at Cas's attitude. She reached her hand up and scratched the bridge of her nose softly, looking as if she were thinking something over. "Let's just go to my dorm." She said quickly, eyeing Cas wearily. She still couldn't help but feel suspicious of him, and she walked over and grabbed her phone, ignoring the fact that she had five more messages.
Jake also raised his eyebrows, smirking at Lani. "How do you not like Summer? I mean, sometimes she can be a real b- uh, witch, but other times she can make you feel like you're the only person in the world. You just... Can't hate her. Well, at least most of us can't."

Caspian walks over to his side of the dorm and puts his stuff down. "I gotcha." He pulled out his phone and goes through it.

Lani waved her hand in a dismissive gesture. "I'm biased. I have a tendency to dislike popular people on principle. Well, that's a lie. I don't have a tolerance for mean people, and I have uncomfortable experiences. It's not like I hate her, I just prefer to not be around people that get a lot of attention." The decision was greatly influenced by her friends.

Summer grabbed some sweats from Cal's drawer, putting them on. They were extremely baggy on her, and she felt very ugly. She glared at Cas once more before walking out of the dorm, her head held high. "Let's just go." She said to Cal, hoping no one saw them. That would be too embarrassing. "I hope my weird roomie isn't home."

Jake nodded. "I guess I'm kind of the same way. I mean, I hate all of the Jocks... But then again, its not too hard to imagine why I hate them." He laughed, standing up and stretching. His blue eyes darted around the room, and he walked to the kitchen, opening the pantry. "Wow your pantry is really... Empty..." He pointed out. "Don't you guys eat anything?"
Lucas looked at Eva and blushed, feeling very sheepish. "You look even better." He said, trying to be smooth and failing. As their food got delivered, Lucas felt his mouth water. On his plate he had seasoned salmon, broccoli drizzled in some kind of sauce, and some iind of rice. He took a long sip of his wine, and he felt as if he couldn't have been happier.

Lani shrugged. "I don't usually eat lunch, but I eat out after school. The pantry is always empty if I don't fill it with something." She knew Summer wasn't eating much - she wasn't blind - but she didn't think she would be the best person to try and help her. She had a feeling it would end badly. "Actually, speaking of food, I was going to grab a burger. I'm starving. Wanna come with?"

Summer snorted, but she couldn't help feel happy when her boyfriend complimented her. She stepped up to her dorm, grabbing the key from under the mat and unlocking it. When she opened the door, she screamed and ran behind Cal. She couldn't have people looking at her like this. She noticed the guy behind her roommate eyes widen. EW, she hoped he wasn't going to try and flirt with her.
Lucas silently had a seizure in the corner.

With Summer's shriek Cal closed his eyes, cursed, and muttered: "It's never ending." As he opened his eyes he saw one thing he was not expecting to see - the Coy girl from first period. "Oh, Miss Coy, it's nice to see you again," he gave her a smirk. It was the smirk that the underclassmen and upperclassmen tended to whisper about and hope to be one day be on the receiving end. He nodded once towards Jake, the smirk disappearing faintly. He guessed this boy was Lani's boyfriend or something. "It's safe to come out, babe," he declared, stepping into the room. "It's just gonna get crowded really quick."

Lani blinked in surprise when Summer screamed, but didn't look for too long when she noticed Cal. Instead, she turned to Jake, only acknowledging Cal with a short nod. "Come on, I want a burger. Possibly a milkshake. I had a single brownie for lunch and I'm going to die without a burger. Or pizza. I just need food. Like, right now. I'm starving." Unlike in the beginning of the day, when her voice was quiet and she was timid, she was a little louder and sounded a little more demanding in a bit of a playful way. It was the affect of having a friend around.

{I should have Lani call her friends by nicknames so she'll constantly be like "babe" and "dear" and "darling" and "light of my life" and it'll just make Cal confused}
