be semi-realistic, no crazy fur or eye colors. also remember your cats limitations; they won't be perfect at everything.
please do not roleplay your own mates & mentors (unless they are both warriors, then it's okay i guess). no abandoned kits unless there is a queen in the den.

Most of his back, tail, and face is covered by black fur, while his muzzle, underbelly, and chest are untouched with white. He has a few splotches along his legs. He has piercing green eyes.This tom isn't the most pleasant cat to be around, he is judgmental and can be harsh towards others. Ospreystar tends to be goal-oriented and is always collected. He has worked hard to get where he is now, and nothing will stop him from being the best and most efficient leader he can be. It's easy for him to be dismissive of other thoughts and opinions when they don't align with his own. Ospreystar is incredibly loyal to Yewclan, almost to a fanatic nature. He believes in preserving clan and while he isn't fond of outsiders, he does see the appeal and logic of new blood and more cats; strength in the large clan.Ospreystar has always been a determined feline. He was the type of kit that would boss around the others and take charge. That attitude followed him through apprenticeship, then onto becoming a warrior. He was always on his A+ game and received his first apprentice rather young at 18 moons and another at 29 moons. When the deputy, Ternchime passed away due to an illness, Runningstar appointed Ospreyclaw to the position when he was 31 moons old. He became leader when Runningstar passed due to old age at 39 moons. (he didn't kill him no worries. osprey is just a mean dude, not a killer). stern, might be crazy, howard stark vibes, a+ parenting (okay so bad dad vibes), dismissive, not super kind "why are you talking", act up and fIND OUT

Somewhat of a lanky tom, he has a lithe build and broad shoulders. He has brown spotted tabby fur and pale green eyes. He has stripes on his tail and legs. Honesty is what this tom lives by. He detests when things are sugarcoated. He believes bluntness is the way to go. It's a way to avoid conflicts. Being lied to? Don't, he will know, even if it is lying by omission. This tom might joke around here and there, but he is mission-oriented. The tabby tom tends to be drawn towards structure and does better when he is given a task. It keeps him focused, and centered. Pikesplash is incredibly clever and observant. Pikesplash does have a temper, especially when he is stressed. He can shift into a snappy and harsh feline.

With broad shoulders and thick body, this tom is huge. He has green eyes and shaggy dark brown fur. He has tabby markings and a patch of white on his stomach. There is a scar on his hind leg. Due to his bulkiness, Beartuft tends to come off as an intimidating. Which isn't wrong, he can be gruff and reserved. It's a side he expresses to most. Can be a tab bit nicer to the felines that he is close in age, since he knows them and they know him back. He is a lazy tom and whenever there is free time, you'll see him curled in a ball, snoozing. A well known secret about Beartuft is that he really isn't that scary and is lame. He loves dad jokes.

With plush fur and sway of a feathery tail, this molly gives off a playful air. Her pelt is colorful calico. The ginger fur has tabby markings. There are splashes of black and white, mostly black. She has white chest and paws, a little smudge of white on the nose. Poppy has bright amber eyes that always shimmering with laughter. She does have a torn ear.
This molly is a goof. It is a well-known fact that she is clever and comes off as impish. She likes to have fun and tends to treat everything as a friendly competition. If she loses, that's alright, she isn't the type to get anger over frivolous things. Yet if she is winning, she will be crowing about her achievements with bright eyes and loud laughs. Due to that, Poppypounce can come off as intense; she is easily excitable. However, when she is surprised with compliments, Poppypounce tends to shift into bashfulness and plays it off as it's nothing. uwu very cute, bashful to compliments (surprise), wanna play or DO YOU WANNNA PLAY, so kinda intense. gym girl, do you even lift bro. everything is a competition. and she is winning.

She doesn't have the stronger self-preservation instincts, preferring to view everything with rose-covered glasses. She always has an overwhelming need to help others; even if they don't want her help. The young molly can be pushy. And without a doubt, she can be plucky at times. It isn't often that she will shy from a situation.

Sitting above the splash of ginger on her muzzle are two deep amber eyes. Her fluff gives her the illusion of being a large cat; however, she truly is of short stature.
In general, Maize is a passive feline. This molly doesn't seem to a mean bone in her body. She is typically all smiles and purrs with others. A social butterfly, she enjoys having fun and being among the other cats. She tends to believe the gentle touch is the way to go and doesn't believe harsh words or actions are anyway to go about ensuring your goals. However, when needed, Maize can raise to the occasion to protect herself and the ones that have her loyalty.
Maize and her siblings were the product of a kittypet and rogue crossing paths. She was born and raised in the home of her mother's humans until that day came for her and her siblings to go to their new homes. Maize's home was with an elderly neighbor. She loved her human and lived a rather spoiled life until the elderly man passed in his sleep. Maize hid in the house until someone discovered that her human passed away, and then she slipped out of the house. Maize has been on the move ever since.
She has recently entered Yewclan's territory.

↠ Wolfkit - 6 Moons - Female - @/shymimikyu
Wolfkit is your classic, quintessential tabby cat. Her coat is a warm brown color, and stripped all across it are busy black tabby stripes. She has a black tail tip, and slightly longer ears than normal. Her eyes are a muddy, yellowish green, and she has a very small white patch on her chest. Wolfkit isn't the large powerhouse that her father is, she's in fact, a bit on the small side. She has a lean build, having some of the broadness in her shoulders that Beartuft has, but not having the large paws to really wallop any opponent.
Wolfkit is an energetic young cat with a seemingly endless well of energy. It takes a lot to tire this little one out, her mind is always rolling, and her paws are always moving. Though despite her energy, and eagerness to please, she doesn't listen well to orders and has a tendency to wiggle out of every responsibility that is thrown at her. She doesn't seem to have the attention, or the desire to learn, she would rather learn her own way by trail and error. Her emotional gauge is a little out of whack, Wolfkit feels things a lot stronger than most people. Therefor, she can be euphorically happy, or as soon as something bad happens, she can easily throw herself into fear, or deep sadness. Because of this, she has a reputation for being a cry baby, a moniker she doesn't like.

Fogpool is a beautiful, graceful light grey shecat. Her fur is long and silky, having a tendency to curl around her fluffy chest fur, which is a soft creamy white. She has dainty paws, and a long feathery tail. She has a dark pink nose, and green eyes that have a hint of swirled blue. This molly has a lean build, with slender legs and strong muscle underneath her thick, posh fur.
For as beautiful as she is, Fogpool is mean. Sometimes the book doesn't always match the cover, Fogpool is tomboyish, cruel at her worst, and short tempered at her best. She is a powerful molly, one who is loyal to her clan and her duties as a warrior. The blunt and straight forward molly can be regarded as rude because of the way she speaks with little tolerance for foolishness. If she's not working and getting dirty than she's most certainty thinking about doing it. Fogpool isn't all brutish though, she's more relaxed around other mollies in fact. Around toms there is a certain aura of anger that always pervades. Fogpool is also old fashioned in her ideals of valuing strength above all else. She trains her apprentices in a way that some would call cruel, but she would call necessary routines.
history (optional; won't be on the main page) Fogpool led a normal warrior life, growing up the in the clans and valuing hard work. Her former mentor, when she was only an apprentince, was Ospreystar himself. She eventually fell in love with a tom, and tried to settle down to live a family life. But when Bluerose revealed that she would be unable to have kits after moons of trying, her mate grew irate and the two had a violent break.

Rude, blunt, a strong independent woman who's on top of it all. Cold and a bit ruthless, but not evil. Harsh, and teaches discipline, old fashioned. Kind of has a lot of pent up

↠ Northwind - 30 Moons - Male - @/shymimikyu
Being a Norwegian forest cat means that Northwind is much larger than his other clan mates. The sheer amount of thick, course fur on the tom means he appears double the size of the apprentices. He is a handsome, dark brown tabby tom, though the way his fur furls out makes him look like a miniature lion with tabby stripes. His relatively small head, compared to the rest of him, has soft yellow eyes. Lastly, he has a large bushy, mostly black tail.
There couldn't be a better definition of a gentle giant. Northwind is not only kind, he is terrified of confrontation, and in fact terrified of most things in general. The very polite and former tom has a tendency to bow his head, avoiding eye contact. He also has a tendency to apologize, always shrinking into himself whenever it's his turn to speak. There's a certain unease to him at all times, as if he's always questioning himself. Although he is introverted and shy, he is actually quiet nice. Once he finally warms up to people, he becomes a loyal and irreplaceable friend. He likes to tell stories, fables and tales that he thinks of - though he only ever shares stories with people he's comfortable around.
history (optional; won't be on the main page) Born and raised in the clan, single runt of a litter, born to do parents that were both more focused on clan duties than raising one, runt child. Because of this, he was left under the care of other queens, passed around until the age of his apprentince hood. When he was younger, he used to be more outgoing, but as he got older, Northwind has isolated himself away from others and completely shut himself in.

Massive huge boy is extremely timid. Has a lot of fears, has OCD, very insecure and unsure of himself. Always tries his best. Introvert to the max, why is such a big boy so scared? He so big boy.
↠ Bluerose - 28 Moons - Male - @/shymimikyu The first thing anyone notices the moment they look at Bluerose is his massive starry eyes. Because of the way his eyes are infected, his eyes looks like a galaxy, hauntingly beautiful, but also disheartening. Bluerose got his name from his once beautiful blue eyes, but as a kit, his eyes got infected. By the time he was an apprentince he had completely lost his eyesight. Because of the sickness, Bluerose never developed as well as a typical cat would. He is extremely short and frail. He has light brown tabby markings on the top of his coat, but the entire underneath, chest, belly and paws are all pure white. He has a bright pink nose, and a long striped tail.
For all that has happened to Bluerose, he seems to take it in stride. Not one to complain (Unless his father gets brought up), and one to always find the brightside of everything. He is praised for his work as a medicine cat, not only because of his intelligence, and cool collected attitude when situations arise, but also for his compassion for working for his clanmates. He's gained a reputation for being someone that anyone can talk to about their problems. Though, beneath the jokes and sarcastic remarks, Bluerose is extremely sad, and feels great shame, and burning jealousy that he was never allowed to become a warrior.
history (optional; won't be on the main page) Lost his eyesight due to Glaucoma when he was training to become a warrior. Was taken in by the former medicine cat, much ot his chagrin. He resents his father, Ospreystar, for forcing him to give up on the path of the warrior. To choose between early retirement to the elders den, merely at the age of an apprentince - or to be of some use to the clan and learn to be a medicine cat. There is an apparent hatred that swells whenever Ospreystar is brought up.rank: Medicine Catfamily: Ospreystar is his father. Wolfhowl is his brother. maybe him and maize could be become friends? And he introduces her to the clan. yet since he is introvert, i truly feel like their first meeting would be a complete accident, like one of them literally run into each other in the forest. i can imagine them both lowkey panicking
and i'll think about it. i am not too sure about waterseeker.

Springrain is a medium sized, long silky-furred, very light gray tom with a darker face and paws. His nose dark gray in color.. Springrain's eyes are a pale, pretty blue eyes.
Springrain is quite mature and loyal, however while he appears to hold himself very well, he can and will hold judges and is quite judgmental. He is clever and is very active in his duties as a warrior.

Ebonystream is a small, sleek, black-and-white she-cat with green eyes. Her nose is very pink and her ears are slightly larger than normal.
Ebonystream is a very outgoing she-cat and she is very vocal when someone praises her, as she love any and all attention. She doesn't always think before she speaks and can often find herself making rude comments or saying very weird things.

↠ Russetfeather - 56 moons - she-cat - little blu ♥
A muscular she-cat with broad shoulders and heavy paws that make her an adequate hunter at best. She has a thick, longhaired coat that is consumed by red, black, and light ginger splotches. Her basecoat is a soft golden brown, which allows her to blend into the forest around her. A white chin flares down her chest and onto her underbelly. Russetfeather has black tufted ears and warm amber eyes. Prim white paws, long whiskers, and scattered scars round out her appearance.
Russetfeather has seen much in her 50 plus moons and with experience comes wisdom. She's a thoughtful soul, never one to rush into decisions or to say words she doesn't mean. She prefers to speak purposefully, rather than to fill the space with empty chatter, and often she is perceived as quiet or introverted. There's some truth in that, as she doesn't go out of her way to socialize with others, but the she-cat isn't averse to communicating and enjoys having company. Respect is earned with this senior warrior, it's not something she gives out freely. She is a highly opinionated cat with a strong moral compass. This can make her stubborn and a bit set in her ways, but if presented with a good case she can be swayed. The voice of her inner caregiver is always running, which has her trying to mother the whole clan.
Her parents weren't on polite terms even before she was born. Barkshadow and Hollytail were both equally hotheaded and sharp, which caused them to argue more often than not. She and her siblings were often caught in the middle of these fights. Russetfeather, being the oldest of her litter, took on a lot of responsibility for her littermates. As a young warrior she was much more temperamental, but she has mellowed with age.
THE tired mom friend, A+ negotiator, reluctant to be the aggressor, don't underestimate this mamma tho, will nag you - don't test her, unafraid to bless your heart.

↠ Cinderscale - 33 moons - she-cat - little blu ♥
Slender molly with soft smoke gray fur and a white dash on her chest. Her build is lean and agile from moons spent honing her skills. She has a short coat with a thicker tail and tall, gently rounded ears. Her nose and paw-pads are charcoal gray, faintly darker than the rest of her pelt. Big copper eyes settle into an angular face and accented by silvery whiskers. Three jagged scars rest on her left hip from a battle with a strange cat.
Cinderscale is a confident individual who knows her strengths and ignores her weaknesses. Though she has a quiet charm about her, ambition is what drives her. She wants to be the best warrior she can be and will push herself beyond her own limits to accomplish this. She wouldn't risk the clan, or her clan mates to get what she wants, however. Her loyalty has always been with YewClan and she will remain a dedicated clan-cat till the end. That doesn't mean she doesn't want to better her position or make her opinions heard. She doesn't even try to hide her inner snob, often passing judgment on others without the full story. The molly makes a strong ally and a worrisome enemy. Cinderscale actually has quite the ruthless temper and though she would never cause true harm to a clan mate, she can be vindictive. The feline truly holds grudges like no other.

↠ Shellheart - 28 moons - tom - little blu ♥
Handsome and boy does he know it. He's got a tall, athletic build that he works hard to maintain. Those broad shoulders and large paws would probably suit a much stockier cat. His sleek, glossy fur makes slicing through water a breeze. Shellheart is a white and black dappled tom with soft green eyes. A lighter shade of green rings around the outer edge of his iris. A nick in his left ear is all that remains from a training session gone wrong.
Shellheart is a harmless charmer, who flashes his pretty smile and throws compliments around like no other. His flirtations are normally playful and cheesy, almost endearing. That doesn't mean he's never had his ears cuffed by an annoyed molly... or tom. His suffix was given to him due to his generous heart and his bravery. Though he often feels like an imposter in his own fur. He has a light-hearted, charismatic reputation that the warrior works hard to uphold. His quick grins and easy laughter hide all the inadequacy he feels. It would destroy the allusion of confidence if his clan-mates knew how lost he felt inside. Fear, taking many different forms, is his constant companion. He has always been impulsive and quick to act and the consequences that usually follow weigh heavy on him. Shellheart can be quite competitive and isn't one to back down from any sort of challenge, especially when seeking approval from his peers.

↠ Sunshine - 17 moons - she-cat - little blu ♥
Fluffy pale brown she-cat with darker tabby stripes across her pelt. Just a hint of ginger can be glimpsed around her face, neck, and tail. A wide blaze of white sits on her chest and covers her muzzle. The toes on her forepaws are dipped in the same snowy color. She has round hazel eyes and a thick, plumed tail. Her build is relatively small, which gives her a very youthful appearance.
Sunshine is a sweetheart. Her care for others is genuine but easy to take advantage of. She wants to believe that there's good in everyone and no one is past redemption. Her shy nature keeps her from sticking up for herself and she lets clan-mates walk all over her. Being the center of attention makes her uncomfortable and she often deflects compliments. The molly would sooner give the fur off her back than watch others suffer. Sunshine is a bit hopeless when it comes to making decisions and prefers to look to others and follow their lead. As she becomes comfortable, the feline comes out of her shell a bit and loves to ask questions to quench her inner curiosity. Her optimism and unwavering support make for a good friend.

↠ Windpaw - 9 moons - tom - little blu ♥
His average build is hidden by thick fur, making him appear bigger than he actually is. Windpaw has light, dusty gray fur with the faintest tabby stripes on his face and legs. The markings on his tail and around his paws are much more pronounced. He has a pair of striking baby blues which are surrounded by white highlights. His hind right paw is twisted slightly outwards, from an instance where he broke it as a kitten.
Windpaw is a cold tom, with a meticulous mind. There is very little that gets by him and his sharp judgment. The tomcat has lived in a cat-eat-cat world, where there is little room for weakness or mercy. From a young age, he was taught that only the strong survive and he has yet to find a flaw in his teachings. His pain tolerance is rather high, he doesn't complain about much. He's a cynical one, with little dependence on emotions. He keeps his claws sharp and his mind sharper, always preparing and expecting the worst out of others. Trust doesn't come easily to Windpaw at all, there are probably very few that he would let at his back. He has these walls that he's built around himself that he's careful about not letting anyone breech. He has a small circle of friends that he would do anything for. It's rare for Windpaw to relax with others but when he does, he can actually be a sarcastic, witty tom.
His father, Dustshade, was not a cat to be trifled with. The cruelty he was capable of knew no bounds. There was no love between the father and son, only sharp words and unsheathed claws. Dustshade may have taught his son to survive but he also killed any traces of hope and innocence. Windpaw felt little when his father passed early on in his apprenticeship.
one smart cookie, smol but fierce, angry kitten, cold and distant, anti-hero vibes, loyal to a fault, would let the world burn to save those he loves, sharp jagged edges protect his heart, arrogant boi, fears loss more than anything.

↠ Zero - 20 moons - tom - little blu ♥
Painfully thin oriental shorthair, complete with a prominent nose and wide, floppy ears. He has thin white fur, which is patched with a dark, ruddy brown. Zero has a gangly build that is only emphasized by his long legs and tail. His eyes are a deep mossy green. The inside of his ears, his paw-pads, and his nose is all bright pink. He has the body of a runner but is more likely to trip over his own paws.
Zero is a gentle soul, with the biggest heart. He's not the bravest or smartest tom out there but he tries to make up for his faults with kindness. The world scares him, and he would never run headfirst into danger. His greatest fear is undeniably being abandoned or rejected, stemming from a harsh kithood. For such a large tom, he has almost the mind of a kit - innocent and full of wonder. If at first he doesn't succeed, he will try and try again. He genuinely seeks out to better himself and while he may be a slow learner - he won't give up. He tends to daydream and get lost in his own little world, which doesn't lend him the best attention span.
The tom was born on the streets of a small twoleg town, but he was quickly taken from his mother and placed in a shelter. He was never adopted but not for lack of trying, twolegs just seemed to dislike him and his odd appearance. Zero was heartbroken and lonely, so when there was a malfunction with the kennels, he ran. A twoleg kit found him not a few moons later and tried to take him in, but the parents threw him out. Around this time, he met Maize and became friends with her.
looks like a gremlin but has the soul of a disney princess, THE original scardy-cat, "y-you wanna be my f-friend?" o///o, free hugs, he's got that low self-esteem, "we gonna pet the rabbits, george?", has been rejected 10 times too many.
