One possibility I've brought up is it turning Leaffall and it raining for days on end. So everything's flooded and it's soggy. I like the idea of giving these cats a challenge. But this would he after the thymeskip. We need to finish the naming ceremony for Silverstar and the Roseclan patrols. We also have the whole Roseclan warrior, Wrenwillow, getting attacked by a fox and seemingly getting better just in time for thymeskip and her kits becoming warriors just for her to die of infection. I'd like to have more thymeclan former mentor/Apprentice pairs if possible I think we said 18 moons at the time of becoming a mentor at least. Turtlepool has definitely mentored a few and Thymestar would have mentored at least 2 cats. He was 115 moons at death. I'd also love for Blossomsong the Queen that raised Direwish to have some remaining kits maybe they would be older around Direwish's age. Blossomsong also drowned saving a young cat from drowning in the Pond so if someone wants to claim that role that would be cool. She was only 30 moons at death. |

Still love the rain idea. It'll definitely be a challenge, especially for the new apprentices and Roseclan. I don't have siblings for Direwish. But do you know how long ago it was that Blossomwing saved a young cat from drowning? Depending on that I could offer up one of my cats for that role. As for former mentor and apprentice pairs, so far we have Turtlepool/ Rainsong Basilfrost/ Icewhisper Rainsong/ Frostfeather
And yes, a cat having to be 18 moons old to become a mentor makes sense. I think we also said that some even get their first apprentice at 16 moons if they're exceptionally good warriors. So they'll have to be 10-12 moons older than their former apprentices. Anyway, here are all our warriors and elders:

i don't really have much to offer for the other things, but i love the rain idea.
Prey being a bit harder to find while it's raining those days, but at the same time tracks would be easier to find. also more chance of cat's getting stuck in the mud in places where the most rain water is.

I keep a list of everyone in age order on my phone with who they are/will be mentoring and their age so here's that. I think everything here is correct and up to date.
I'm trying to do that math. It's been a litte while cause Direwish is 69 and she was 30 when she died. So maybe they were 15 moons if she adopted them at like 19-20 moons. 54 moons ago or so is when she drowned.

Dark, wanna have one of the Starclan cats as Basilwhisker's former mentor? Because I kinda liked how he missed both Thymestar and Elmsong when we still had him as the cat who trained him. Entirely up to you though because Basil is your cat
There's much we can do with the rain idea ^^ Difficulty finding prey, illness spreading (maybe the medicine cats of both clans having to work together because there are so many cats they have to take care of), ponds and rivers becoming too dangerous... yup, lots of stuff we could do!

Yes, before they became warriors. Either shortly before that or longer. At the very least two moons ago. He was 36 moons old when he died. So I guess unless he is one of the few cats who got their first apprentice at 16 moons old he really would be too young for that. Hm... would Leapinggazelle or Pheasantwing work? If not then I guess Basil's former mentor still lives Depending on who it is we could kill that cat after the thymeskip (drowning, illness, starvation, whatever) nah, just kidding ^^
