»»————- ★ ————-«« Pebblenose tipped his head at Cloverdawn's laugh. Was that because of the moss or the name pronunciation? Oh well. Pebblenose carefully set down his bundle before replying. "Well, I fell asleep by the lake while escaping from Rainpaw for a bit," he explained. "I suppose I dozed off." He nosed the bundle, which rattled slightly at the dislodging. "I found some pebbles, though - I thought Tigerthyme might appreciate it if someone spruced up the medicine den. Or Asterleaf, even though there's - well, there isn't much life in the nursery, but some decoration might give it a lived-in look, you know." Pebblenose braced himself for at least one stifled laugh. It was a rather puny excuse for being absent from duty half the day. He supposed Rainpaw could demand where he'd been, and he'd have to formulate a better response there, although he had no doubt that with six moons of his training, Rainpaw would very much not ask but just assume. She'd be right, though. "I see you've been busy," he noted, looking at the silver cat's catch. "Tell me, does night hunting work better than day hunting? I never could tell."
»»————- ★ ————-«« Woodcreek gave a small grumble. These days, the clan seemed to be more nocturnal. Were they turning into owls? Was there a tactical benefit from being active at night and then being sleepy in the day that Woodcreek hadn't learned as Woodpaw? Whatever the case, a lot of the clan was out. "Well, we ought to get going," she remarked. The seal point molly looked around, perhaps to see if anyone would want to go along. It seemed unlikely - most of the clan seemed to be settling in or chattering to each other."We're wasting moonlight, if that's a thing." Woodcreek turned to head out - hopefully it wouldn't take too long, even if it was her who wanted a stretch.

Mistleshade [ accompanied by Open | camp | no tags; mentions Woodcreek & Embermask ]
Mistleshade was surprised by how quick the sun set. She sat in the camp's clearing, idly staring at the sky. She could hear cats meowing other nearby, but she didn't bother to involved herself. For now, it would be just her and the sky or that was what she would like to imagine.
The seal point warrior blinked and removed her gaze from the sky. Woodcreek and Embermask were leaving to hunt. At this time of... night? she thought, tipping her head to one side. She was tempted to join the pair although she was unsure if they wanted a third hunter. Plus, Mistleshade wasn't the type of cat to offer herself up for a patrol. Maybe she would follow them or stay put. She wasn't sure yet. Pollen-nose [ accompanied by Open | camp | no tags ] Pollen-nose, who was very much an early sleeper, wobbled his way across the camp's clearing. Even at his young age, he liked to get his sleep on time and wake up at the right time. Of course this didn't apply when he was on dawn patrol. That was his least favorite patrol because it took him forever to get back to camp on time. He snorted at his thoughts, his gaze scanning the camp. Right now, the orange tabby could do with a juicy piece of prey or an early bed time. Both sounded wonderful to him.
The only issue was getting to the warrior's den without being seen. Could he do it? As long as there was enough cats distracting others, he could find his way to his nest. Otherwise, he could settle on a juicy mouse.
Lichenpaw [ accompanied by Open | camp | no tags ] Lichenpaw sat outside the apprentice's den, lapping away at his black, brown, and white coat. He was too busy cleaning his pelt to notice anyone or anything around him. His focus was all on himself as everything always was. The apprentice lifted his head up briefly, noticing some cats sharing prey and some heading out on patrols. He wondered if there were any other apprentices out and about. And if they were... why hadn't they come to speak with him? He was popular... right?
Pansy [ accompanied by Open | outside the rogue territory(?) | no tags ] As much as Pansy loved her friends, she was growing bored of staying in one place for a long time. She wanted to leave and have an adventure of her own. However, that meant leaving her friends, who were like her family. Things will improve, she assured herself before lying on her stomach. She rested her head on her paws, staring at the land before her. She could feel an itch in her paws to walk on it, to run through the forest. Maybe she could get away for a bit, claim she was hunting, and come back with some prey. At least it would allow her to wander a bit.

ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs Shadepelt and Pebblenose would seem like they'd be pretty good friends! We could do a little subplot with them if you're interested! Here are my subplot ideas for my cats: Stormclaw could lead an adventure through the Clan territory for the rogues. If anyone with a rogue would like to participate, lemme know! Shadepelt could struggle with his suspicion of the rogues, but try to make friends with them. As time goes on and he learns of the group's secret plot, he'd feel betrayed and would likely be pushed to the brink, making him do a personality shift. If anyone would like to play a role in that, they can! Thorn could start to become more and more suspicious of Datura, and tries to learn his true motives. As time goes on and he begins to bond with the Clan and hope to form a symbiotic relationship with them, once he learns of Datura's plan, he could defy him and try to convince the rogues to be good guys. There could actually be a sort of rivalry over leadership of the group between him and Datura if that's allowed, even before they reach the Clan. This could even result in a battle. Again, this part is only if it's allowed by Shymimikyu. If anyone has some plot ideas that they'd be interesting in creating, lemme know!

Rainpaw laughed at the joke, happy to see Dotbounce was in a good, jolly mood. Her green eyes glittering, "It can't be that bad," she reassured with a faint smirk. She paused for a moment, her thoughts drifting back to the last few moons. Perhaps Dotbounce did have a point there, the lanky feline did drift outside her nest here and there. There had been pointed hisses from herself occasionally.
Her eyes were focused on Dotbounce, as the molly joked about the tightness of the warrior den. Even with that, Rainpaw couldn't wait to receive her warrior name... she wondered what name Crowstar would bestow on her, maybe her name would be cool like Rainstrike. She felt like she was a decent fighter.
"I bet," she mused, counting the warriors, "Full warrior den and semi-empty elder's den. I think some need to retire," the silvery feline snickered in a low voice for the two of them. She wrinkled her nose and gave a small shake of her head, "I don't know. I think being in a den by myself would be lonely," Rainpaw confessed, she had never slept alone in her life. In the nursery, she was with her mother and the other kits... then apprentice den.
The mention of her final assessment had Rainpaw groaning out-loud. "I don't even know," she shook her head with a growl. She couldn't help but feel annoyance towards her mentor. He hasn't given her any hints, beside a few signs of acknowledgement. Possibly this was a test. "Pebblenose hasn't said anything. Everytime I ask, I get a hmm," she explained with a frown. She lashed her tail, "What does a hmm mean?! Tomorrow, a moon, soon?". She sounded exasperated, not knowing was slowly killing her.

»»————- ★ ————-«« Embermask Camp With Woodcreek (ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs ) "Let's go, then," Embermask said, picking up his pace as he headed towards the exit of the camp.
The interaction was still extremely awkward, nothing to do about it. Talking face-to-face with Woodcreek made him wince, something about the molly was scary. Were cats that disliked him scary? Yes. Of course they were. He got outside of the camp and sniffed around. Prey scent was fresh.
He got a little further out before getting into a hunting crouch and stalking up on a mouse. »»————- ★ ————-«« Cloverdawn Hunting With Pebblenose (ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs ) Cloverdawn could go on about how night hunting and day hunting are the same thing, but alas, she didn't want to get too rude and oddly specific about hunting, so she replied simply. "No," she meowed. "Just trying to be useful for the Clan."
She didn't know why she had brought up that last part, she didn't want a lecture from Pebblenose on how vain and selfish she was, how she should be training Brightpaw how to fight right now, maybe do some fighting yourself, Cloverdawn! They didn't need to fight, there weren't any Clans near them, the loners and rogues rarely bothered them.
"Rainpaw bothering you?" Cloverdawn asked. »»————- ★ ————-«« Orchid Outside the territory Open Orchid always knew what to do. If she were to lay back in the shadows, she would do so. If she was told to fight, then fight she would. Orchid was good at being a follower, no matter how badly she wanted to be a leader. The calico molly lay in wait. She didn't need to make everything crumble down around her, eventually, she knew it would. Then would be her chance to strike. For now, Orchid lay in wait.
Orchid paced around, flicking back her tail. She scented no prey. Sad.
She considered herself a good enough hunter. Maybe not the best, but good. Sadly, there was no prey for the molly to catch. At least not around here.

i am going to have to find a better photo for him, but basically that's what the boi looks like Aspensmoke/ camp / Pollennose (Sand )
A yawn escaped from the pale tom's maw, he was drifting aimless around camp. Not pacing, but close enough. He didn't mind being in camp; however, being in camp and doing nothing was slowly causing the young warrior to feeling stir crazy.
A familiar pelt crossing camp caught Aspensmoke's attention. The pale tom pause for a moment, he liked Pollen-nose's company and would consider them friends. The other tom was only a moon older than himself.
"Hey Pollen-nose," he called, strolling over towards the tom, whipping his tail in greeting. He cocked his head to the side and wrinkled his nose. The tom's pelt looked rumpled like he had been out in the forest the whole day, "You look tired," he stated with a swift analyzing glance.

Pollen-nose accompanied by Aspensmoke | camp | Blaze ♡ Pollen-nose was still in his sleepy daze when Aspensmoke called for him. His ears twitched slowly in response as his hazel gaze followed. He remembered lots about Aspensmoke. The tom was never a menace and he normally calm. He liked that about him.
Yawning, the tabby waved his tail in response. "Hi Aspensmoke," he greeted with a smile. His face contorted briefly as if he was worried about his looks. "Tired? I mean, I feel tired. Do I really look that tired? I don't want to look like I'm headed for retirement."
An expression of concern arose on the warrior's face. He didn't want to look like Milkfur at such a young age and have cats calling him the "tired warrior." He was too young for that! Blinking, he looked down at his paws before glancing up at Aspensmoke. "What have you been up to?" he asked, hoping to start a conversation. image source - Unsplash & ImgBB

Pansy accompanied by Orchid | outside the territory | *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•* Pansy noticed a familiar calico pelt not far from where she was standing. She hesitated on speaking to Orchid for she didn't know the she-cat well enough. On top of that, she wasn't sure if she could trust her. Orchid had always given her a feeling of skepticism. To be fair, most of Datura's group did except for a few cats. However, a few cats wasn't enough to keep her out of harm's way. Being alone was much easier.
With the reluctant decision to speak to Orchid, the black and white loner padded softly across the forest floor to the other rogue. "Your name is Orchid, right?" she asked, glancing at the calico tentatively. Pansy was unsure where to go with this conversation. "Can't find any prey over here?"

Aspensmoke/ camp / Pollennose (Sand )
Aspensmoke blinked, thinking about it for a moment. He frowned for a moment, puzzlement apparent in his hesitation, and then gave a shake of his head with a small laugh, "I don't think so?". But that was a counteractive comment, so he went on to sheepishly add, "I mean, yes you look tired but not dead tired."
"I don't think anyone will take you for an elder just yet," the grey tom reassured with a low chuckle, "no fear, we have a couple more moons of service," hopefully. Freak accidents did happen.
A disgruntled look fashed across Aspensmoke's face at the question. "Nothing," he snorted and shifted on his paws, "Early hunting patrol and that was it." It was success for the season, but didn't last as long as he would have liked. He brightened up for a moment with a purr, "I caught a big squirrel. It looked healthy and plump." Part of him selfishly hoped it was still there, so he could get a piece of it.

asdfghjkl i am so sorry aether! i thought i replied with berrylight already B e r r y l i g h t/ nearby camp / Whiskerflick aether "Yeah, it is nice to allow the apprentices to pretend, at least for the time being," Berrylight mused, one day they wouldn't be able to be sheltered by their harsh way of life. No matter what their intentions were, clashes did happen. Whiskerflick was right about that. Berrylight, herself, wasn't fond of battle, yet she had tussled with a rogue fox here and there. Anything to protect Pierceclan.
Berrylight brushed past Whiskerflick, leading him back towards camp. "Relaxation is nice, epically since the weather has started to warm back up," she purred with a sway of her tail, sunbathing was one of her favourite pastimes, "I am happy leaf bare has gone away."
"A mouse? Snowypaw?" a murrow of laughter escaped from the dappled molly, "I don't think she can be quiet enough to be one... and might be a little more tough for you to catch." She was sure the younger molly could run laps around Whiskerflick if she put the effort in. She shook her head, "If you say so," Berrylight meowed with a soft hm, sometimes it felt weird. "I always made my mentor proud," she teased back, amusement flickering in her eyes as she looked towards him. But she did have those general anxieties about pleasing her mentor, probably still had them, Perhaps it was one of the reasons why she hasn't had an apprentice yet, Crowstar probably could see her hesitation and reserve towards leading.

The city never slept. Even when the sun had set and the sky was an inky black, the streets were filled with an artificial light. It was a place where ally cats like Datura thrived - there was enough scrapped two-leg food to sustain yourself. There was enough pilled up boxes in the alleys to rest your head at night, but none of this satisfied the grey and black tom. He wasn't ok with just sustainability. He wasn't ok with feasting off the two-legs discarded food. Somewhere, far above the limits of this place was a wild land where feral cats roamed... That's what he wanted. It was a dream, one he was willing to pursue because he felt it was his right to attain it. After all, aren't people supposed to follow their dreams? What divided Datura from the rest of the world around him, was that he didn't care how many bodies he had to step over to attain that dream.
"Listen up!" His voice suddenly roared. He perched atop a toppled over trash can, glancing down at the cats that had formed beneath him. He waited for the murmurings to die down, uncaring of the cats that looked at him pensively, or those who regarded him with a glare. His eyes instead fell upon Mocha, who's big eyes were starry with adoration. "How much longer are we going to be suckling off the nourishment that these monsters discard; dependent on their waste, their discarded left overs! How long are we going to bow down to our masters, knowing full well they would abandoned us at the drop of a hat! I've seen so many kittypets thrown onto the streets, thrown out by the masters they once regarded as family. I see the same thing in all of you... Don't you get it?" Datura's rich voice boomed with such confidence, the way he spoke was enticing, he had a certain aura around him, a gravitational pull that dragged others in. "We're just the dregs that these humans have thrown away. Whether kittypet, or not. We're dependent off of them, living in their shadows and hiding from their wrath. Those of you who can't stand to live like this anymore, heed my word."
"We all know of the place beyond this city. A sprawling forest, a rich meadow, a glittering lake! A paradise, a haven for anyone who is brave enough to reach out and attain it! I implore you, anyone who is sick of living this stagnant life in this place, follow me. I will lead us to that place... I will take up the mantle of leader, and guide each and every one of us to the paradise that is our birth right."

--------------------------------------------------------------- Thorn Tom | Rogue | 23 moons In the City | The Outsiders, Datura (ˢʰʸᴹᶤᵐᶤᵏʸᵘ )
Thorn was just wrapping up his meal for the day, a skinny squirrel that didn't put much on his stomach. Why it had drifted into the outskirts of the city was a question he didn't have the answer to, but he welcomed a fresh catch where he could find one. Eating Twoleg trash had gotten old quickly, yet had been a staple of his diet for many moons. Discarding the prey, he got up and stretched his muscles, ready to find a decent spot to settle in for the night, away from the popular spots among the members of the group. The sun had begun sinking below the sky as he had started his meal; now, the sky was dark and filled with stars. Just as he had decided on a spot in the corner where he could mind his business, he noticed Datura climbing up on top of a trash can and yowling for cats to listen. Thorn raised an eyebrow as he padded over and sat near the front, wondering why he had chosen such a late hour to convey the message he had in mind. Datura had been a cat that had offered something different other than the daily struggle of living alone in Twolegplace several moons ago, and was the reason why Thorn had joined the group. Perhaps he had asked for him to join because of his skill in battle, or just for the sake of having new members, but for whatever reason, Thorn was glad he had chosen to stay with a group instead of by himself. Yet, as he had agreed to Datura's offer, he had noticed a slight glimpse of something beyond the cheery personality he had put up, as if he were harboring something else inside. He had chosen to ignore this, and continued to do so for a while, but recently, Datura had been growing more and more obsessed with what lay beyond Twolegplace. Thorn knew he was plotting something; he had started to notice more and more of the tom's secret nature. Perhaps he hadn't noticed it before because he wanted to believe Datura was kind, and not like so many rogue cats he had met as a kit and onward. It didn't matter now. Something was brewing in his mind.
Datura began to speak. It was no surprise to Thorn that the announcement was about the place beyond the city. He watched with a calculating gaze as Datura tried to appeal to the cats by offering a new, tantalizing life filled with different landscapes and scenery, away from the harsh, foul, unforgiving life of a cat in the city. He noticed some cats looking at Datura with awe in their eyes, which grew as he proclaimed himself to be leader of this expedition, while others watched with wary gazes. Thorn wasn't sold on the idea of a fresh, free, easy life. No cat who had been through the life of a city cat through and through would bank on this scheme of his so easily. At least, that's what he believed. As hushed whispers began to break among the crowd, with Datura standing there looking down at the cats with a smug and keen expression on his face, as if he were ready to leave right now, Thorn stepped forward. Looking directly at Datura, he said, "I'm not so sure this is a great idea. We don't know of any dangers that are lurking over there. And I doubt we are the only cats to think of going to this place. How can we be sure that cats aren't already living there?"
He noticed Datura scowl as he interrupted what he was sure the tom had hoped to be a smooth and easy decision. Turning to face the cats that had gathered, Thorn said, "That isn't to say that I don't think we should check out the area. But I don't think cats should be getting ahead of themselves-", he cast a glance at Datura, "-and calling the shots when the territory is unfamiliar to us all. We should work together to face any threat that may be there, and see if this place may offer a home more suitable than what is here. I'd say that all of us could work together to lead the way, or Datura and I could handle that task. Either way, if we are to leave, we should probably do it in the morning. Leaving now could be dangerous." He waited to see what the cats' reactions would be to his little spiel. Inwardly, he was excited at the thought of exploring new territory, but wary of what may lay there. Sitting down and sweeping his tail over his paws, he decided to remain silent and see what the group had to say.

»»————- ★ ————-«« Orchid Outside the territory With Pansy (Sand ) Orchid looked over at the black-and-white molly. Pansy was her name if she remembered correctly. For some reason, Orchid had never been good with names. For example, despite having known her all of her life, Orchid always somehow got Lumine's name wrong. Lumia, Lumi, Lulu, Lumina, almost never Lumine, that was, up until she started spending more time with the molly a few moons ago. She even got Datura's name wrong sometimes, she never said it to his face, lucky her, she didn't want to get her face clawed off.
"You're correct," Orchid meowed calmly, whisking her tail across the ground. "I figured I would go out for a hunt," she frowned as she looked around, not smelling a thing. "I can't find anything though, what a disappointment."
She wasn't too hungry, but she was still hungry. She could go without prey for a little while longer, but it would be easier to just catch something.
Imagine if I miss some big announcement from Datura. Orchid thought. She knew that this was a possibility, she didn't really care though.
"What brings you out here?" Orchid asked, figuring she could talk to Pansy for the time being. Orchid knew she wasn't the friendliest of Datura's group compared to say Lumine. Orchid had more of that rogue vibe that you would expect from rogues like herself, but that didn't mean that she didn't want to talk, chatting was always on Orchid's to-do list, it let her know more about others, the likeliness that they'd betray her in one way or another. Talking to someone gave her time to calculate everything about them, figure out their weaknesses and such.
Orchid wouldn't say any of that out loud, though. She was simply just planning, thinking. She needed to be careful, make sure that no one was going to hurt her or get too close. She may be loyal, but that didn't mean that she was to trust anyone. »»————- ★ ————-«« Lumine The City With the rogues The more Lumine stayed with the rogues, the more she realized that this wasn't the lifestyle for her. She couldn't keep going on like this. There really was no escape, though. Once you joined, Lumine figured there was no going back. She missed her old home in the forest, the lifestyle of a loner, passive. Lumine knew the Clan that lived in the forest pretty well, she had run into them while hunting and such. They were nice, a bit hostile at first, though. But as long as she kept to the outskirts, she was fine.
Datura's words went in one ear and out the other as Lumine sat there in denial. She could still hear him and understand though, but that wasn't her full attention.
Lumine wondered if she should tell him that she knows it there, that she could guide them. She decided to remain silent. Whatever Datura was planning, it probably wasn't good.
Ever since she had joined the rogues, she was becoming more and more hostile, Lumine saw the changes in herself, she didn't like it. She had always been impulsive, a bit stubborn too. She would lash out when triggered and wasn't calm when it came to solving her problems, but she mostly kept it to herself. But when she joined the rogues, it was like they encouraged her to act rashly and rely on a side of her that she didn't like. Lumine was far from perfect in almost every aspect, even if she tried to make herself seem that way. The rogues brought out the worst in her. Lumine wondered what she was really trying to do with her life.
Should I leave the rogues? (I didn't mention Flick once c': I have a lot of ideas for Lumine. I think in the end she'll go back to being a loner. I didn't tag anyone for Lumine's post because it's a lot of people to tag but I'll tag y'all if you want me to.)
