»»————- ★ ————-«« Embermask Camp Open Embermask lay in the sunlight of camp, soaking in every last drop he could, letting the golden rays tint his ginger pelt. Not much was happening, at least currently, that is. He felt at peace with the way life was, it was a good feeling, just enjoying life for what it was, not dwelling on what it could be.
There were a few of his Clanmates were scattered around the area here and there, some of them outside, hunting or on patrol. Maybe the apprentices were training, but that wasn't exactly his problem. Embermask had no apprentice, after all, who was he going to take out training? Onyxpaw? He snorted at the thought of training the moody young apprentice. She had just started her training, yet she was already everyone's problem.
Maybe he could go hunting if he wanted to be useful to the Clan, but he was enjoying it as it was. Peaceful.
There was nothing that could ruin his mood. Not even the grumpiest of cats such as Pineleap or even Onyxpaw, though the latter was probably just young and going through a phase, at least she had skill. »»————- ★ ————-«« Sunnybloom Warriors Den Open
A million thoughts flooded Sunnybloom's mind. There was a lot she could be doing right now, talking to one of her Clanmates, hunting, or just taking a walk, but Sunnybloom liked to be alone with her thoughts every once in a while. It felt rather peaceful.
Maybe some of her Clanmates resented her for telling their secrets and that was always enough to put Sunnybloom in a bad mood, she never meant to hurt anyone, it just happened! The white-and-gold molly rolled over onto her back with a sigh.
"Hello, rock, how are you today?" Sunnybloom turned to a small rock that sat on the floor of the Warriors' Den. She knew it was stupid, talking to a rock, but she couldn't help herself. She had gone from being alone with her thoughts and liking it to desperately wanting company in a matter of seconds. It happened to her sometimes, moodswings, not being able to decide what she truly wanted. She delt with it though.
Sunnybloom pushed the rock away, watching as it slid across the floor of the den. It wasn't exactly sliding, in fact, the rock had barely gotten a few fox-lengths away from her. »»————- ★ ————-«« Onyxpaw Medicine Cat Den Open
Do we need any herbs? Onyxpaw thought as she looked at the stock. Maybe Tigerthyme went to collect some. Onyxpaw headed towards the entrance of the den. Tigerthyme was still in camp. Onyxpaw doubted that her mentor had gone to collect anything. She sighed.
Putting her eyes back on the herb stock, Onyxpaw noticed they were low on borage. A herb that helped queens produce milk and also delt with fevers.
I'll tell Tigerthyme about it later. Onyxpaw knew that her mentor was talking to someone, she didn't want to interrupt anything. »»————- ★ ————-«« Cloverdawn Hunting Open Cloverdawn got into a hunting crouch as she picked up the scent of a mouse. It was a rather common prey and smaller than say, a rabbit, but every little piece counts.
She made sure her paws were quiet against the forest floor so the mouse wouldn't hear her coming, she made sure her breath was low as well as she stalked through the grass. The mouse was close.
Cloverdawn pounced, she heard the mouse squeak before going limp. She had caught it. Cloverdawn figured she should continue hunting, maybe she could bring back a few more catches for the Clan.
She knew that some of her Clanmates thought she was selfish and vain, so bringing home more prey than usual would be something to impress them, she supposed, she didn't want to have a bad reputation with her own Clanmates. That was something the silver molly just couldn't handle. »»————- ★ ————-«« Pineleap Forest Open Pineleap tended to stay within a safe distance from his Clanmates. He didn't want relationships with them, they were a bunch of mousebrains. He couldn't risk being angry at them, because he didn't want an... unfortunate accident to happen.
He didn't want his Clanmates to die though. He still cared for them, even if they were annoying. Pineleap gave a flick of his tail in annoyance.
The forest was his getaway from anything about his Clanmates. No drama with who's secret Sunnybloom blabbermouthed about, no Clanmates passing away. Nothing was going to bother him here. Sometimes Pineleap wondered why he didn't just leave. But no. He tried his best to be a loyal warrior and that was that. (Some of these are short lol. I hope you don't mind me using your code, Aether, it's just really nice so I couldn't resist)

Asterleaf | At Camp | With no one yet | @/someone
Since her abolishment from the medicine cat role, Asterleaf had taken a quiet disposition in her clan. Not wishing to acquiesce to the life of a warrior, she instead resided in the nursery as a full-time care taker. But every moment she spent in her new, cozy life, all she could think about was the leader, her own father, out casting her from the role that she felt she was born to take. If only she had never opened her mouth. If only she had never said that her faith in StarClan was weaning. Now a lot of her clan members, former patients and former friends, viewed her as an outlier, or even worse a traitor. A medicine cat is supposed to have resounding faith. But how could she so blindly worship their ancestors when they never affect the present.
Belief in StarClan wouldn't stop a badger from tearing through their clan. Belief in StarClan wouldn't stop the two-legs to the west from invading their home. The only thing StarClan ever did for Asterleaf was show her who her apprentince should be, and even then, was she wrong for putting such faith into them? She cuffed a claw at the earth in aggravation. Now she was an outcast in her own home. She pushed herself up to her paws and snatched a squirrel from the fresh kill pile. The dusky brown and cream molly stalked off to the far end of the camp's great tree to enjoy her evening meal in hopeful solitude. (Just thought I'd get another starter up. ^.^)

»»————- ★ ————-«« Woodcreek had felt an old itch needing to be scratched since dawn. She hadn't been on the morning patrol today - she had been on the dawn patrol and the sunhigh patrol yesterday, so someone must have thought either she needed the rest or she'd been hogging the patrols. Which was a pollen-brained thing for someone to think! What else was she going to do if not scour the territory? Huffing slightly, the dark black-brown molly made her way out of her nest, in which she'd been lying for the most of the day, and out to the camp clearing. She spotted the ginger pelt of Embermask - and tried her best to hide a bit of disappointment. She didn't find Embermask bad - he was really nice most of the time - it was just that he didn't have his wits sometimes. Well, she couldn't afford to be choosy, with the other option being Sunhawk and his rag-tag patrol. She'd never particularly got along with that old denmate. "Embermask," she greeted, padding up to the tom. "Do you fancy a bit of hunting? I could use some stretched paws."
B r i g h t p a wWith Snowypaw || The nursery || ˢʰʸᴹᶤᵐᶤᵏʸᵘ »»————- ★ ————-«« Brightpaw was still unsure why Crowstar would pick Cloverdawn of all cats to be her mentor. Half the time Cloverdawn seemed to pay more attention to her own pelt than her apprentice's training. Which was why the golden tabby was sure that Cloverdawn wouldn't even know, much less care about her apprentice playing hooky. "Y'know, at least Whiskerflick does do your battle training regularly," she complained to Snowypaw. "Cloverdawn's probably out hunting again." She'd done hunting maneuvers so many times they were practically starting to show up in her dreams. At what point would Cloverdawn give up on her pelt and actually teach her something new in battle training? Mimicking her friend, Brightpaw did a belly-flop onto the ground. "Oh, that's good," she laughed at the idea of starting a clan. "The mighty Brightstar! And Snowystar," she added. "We could be co-leaders. And put garlic in all of our enemies' nests!"
P e b b l e n o s eopen || territory (lake?) - relaxing || n/a »»————- ★ ————-«« The lilac tabby could tell well enough that Rainpaw was likely to ask him to go outside. It wasn't intuition, it was six moons of strained patience on his part. He did appreciate his apprentice being active, and for sure she was going to be an asset to the clan - but if only she could sit down once in a while and relax. He stretched, feeling lazy. It had been a productive morning, going on the hunting patrol. He'd earned some rest, in his opinion - away from the chatter, though he wouldn't mind company when relaxing. Scratching away some gravel, Pebblenose settled down in a sunny spot by the lake - he'd walked far, hadn't he? - and lay down in full, observing the ripples across the water with half-lidded eyes.
I v y b l a z eWith Jaywhistle || Camp || aether »»————- ★ ————-«« Ivyblaze's stomach had been rumbling at them. "Good StarClan, my stomach is like a kit mewling for milk," they joked to no one in particular. "Might as well get some prey." The tortoiseshell padded jauntily to the fresh-kill pile, sifting through the catches until they found their favorite: lark. "Praise be to the hunters!" they proclaimed, dragging the bird from the now rather mussed-up pile. Spotting the gray tabby pelt of Jaywhistle not too far away, Ivyblaze cheerfully made their way to the warrior. "Heya Jaywhistle!" they chirped. "I found a lark in the catches! Looks like someone thought of my hungry stomach, huh?" They laid the bird in front of them. "Want to share? You look a little peckish."
[small side note, are we allowed to create kittens or rogues? The last rp group I was in had strict limitations on both (basically adopt or nothing), so I wasn't sure on here.]

(Actually we need a lot of outsiders for the main plot haha! So please, rogues are totally welcome! As for kits, for sure, as long as there's a reason they're alone without a family! It's a bit hard because the clan is so peaceful right now, it would be hard to say that both of their parents died. I think what would make the most sense is if they weren't clan born, and were found and taken in. And as long as they're older than like 2 Moons, old enough to eat on their own than that could work! And it would be fine because Asterleaf is a permanent queen, so she could be his care taker.
If you wanna make a kit like that it might actually be fun if we RP them being found!)

Snowypaw | In the nursery | With Brightpaw | ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs Snowypaw giggled, the thought of her being leader of anything was so far off in the future she could barely imagine it. Besides! From what she knew of being a leader it just stressed you out all the time and made your fur turn grey. At least that was her theory why Crowstar always looked like an old raggedy mouse. She stretched her paws out comfortably, flicking a bit of loose soil off her head with the flick of an ear. "Do you think you can take a mate if you're leader?" She wondered aloud, "because I definitely couldn't if that's the case! One day I'm gonna be a fat, lazy queen." The black and white molly purred with delight, kneading her claws into some torn off moss. Suddenly she gasped aloud, sitting up straight and sending a cloud of dust around them. "What about you Brightpaw! Do you ever see yourself becoming a mama?" The slight lisp in the molly's voice was especially prevalent when she was excited.

"Crowstar has kits and he's a leader, so it's definitely allowed." At Snowypaw's antics, Brightpaw rolled her eyes in amusement. "Please, I'm going to drag you out of the den to get you some life in your paws, so there!" Brightpaw balked at the question. A mom? She'd never really seen herself as a mother. Sure, she'd entertained a crush on Rainpaw, but that was a long time ago and really, she'd given up on that at this point.
"Well -" the normally sure apprentice fidgeted her paws. "Dunno, I guess?" she answered. "I don't see me settling anytime soon, anyway." Brightpaw perked up. "Besides! I want to do a lot of things before having a bunch of kittens crawl over me. Like climbing up the tallest tree in the forest and learning how to swim properly!"
Blaze ♡ hope you don't mind that I had Brightpaw previously have a crush on Rainpaw - I'll edit it if you'd rather not!

Snowypaw | In the nursery | With Brightpaw | ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs Snowypaw gave a quiet murmur of "Oh yeah..." as Brightpaw mentioned that Crowstar had a daughter. She knew that him and Asterleaf were family, but the cheerful apprentice really never enteratined the thought that it meant that Crowstar had a mate and settled down at one point. It was so weird to image the leader being with anyone, he was always so grumpy all the time! Maybe that meant that Asterleaf popped out of the ground one day? Gasp! Maybe that's why her name was ASTER!
She was shaken out of the thought of this revelation as Brightpaw continued. She seemed much more entertained at the thought of her Rainpaw than the climbing the tree part. Snowypaw rolled over closer, on her back now as she looked up at the roots of the great tree over their heads. "Oh right! How are things with Rainpaw?! Did you ever tell her how you felt?" Her tail swept happily, sweeping up her expose belly so she could hold onto it with her large paws.

If Rainpaw heard, Brightpaw was probably crowfood. "And no, she doesn't know, and she won't know, because I won't let her!" Brightpaw wasn't even sure she was friends with the silvery tabby. She was hard to read, much less understand. And that was why Brightpaw'd wanted to know her better, which eventually had bloomed abruptly into - Brightpaw's fur fluffed up. "What about you, anyway? Thinking about courting anyone besides the thought of escaping Whiskerflick?" Brightpaw swung a forepaw, hoping to unbalance Snowypaw and send her tumbling backwards.

Whiskerflick
With - [ Berrylight ]
Location - [ Outside Camp ]
Her response was of no surprise to the tabby tom, he didn't skip a beat as she shook her head. In his mind, he was considering where he might search next, his train of thought quickly intercepted by Berrylight's next words. "You heard her?" He meowed curiously, hopefully, and he unconsciously shuffled forward as though being nearer would supply him with answers faster. He turned his head in the direction of her nod, breathing out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad she's in camp, then. I'd feel awful if anything happened to her." Unlike other mentors who might've been frustrated, Whiskerflick seemed to relax. "I guess we'll continue training tomorrow," he murmured, more to himself than to Berrylight.
At her question, Whiskerflick turned his full attention to Berrylight, "We were practicing some battle techniques," he let out a little chuckle as he continued, "she's hate learning them but it's important. One day when she wants to be a warrior she'll have to pass the battle assessment... maybe by that time she'll be interested." There was concern mingled in with his amusement. Whiskerflick had never had an apprentice who didn't want to learn. Especially his last apprentice, Dawnrunner, had been quite the rambunctious pawful.
"Ah, well." The tom shrugged and stood up. He stretched out his hindlegs individually and the taut muscles hidden beneath his stripes rippled. "What about you? What are you supposed to be doing," he questioned playfully as he straightened up his posture, "at least we don't have mentors anymore who are always on our tail," there was a certain nostalgia to his tone that glimmered briefly in his eyes.
Rookfall
With - [ Tigerthyme ]
Location - [ Medicine Cat Den ]
To the tune of her quiet song, Rookfall flicked his tail back and forth in the air, letting out a quiet chuckle of his own as she giggled. Tigerthyme's quirky personality was something that each cat had an opinion of; some thought she was too kit-like whilst others thoroughly enjoyed her antics. Rookfall was the latter. It wasn't often he found himself to be in Tigerthyme's company as he performed his warrior duties and she tended to her own tasks, however when they were near the same vicinity he appreciated all the things she did. There was certainly something to like about someone who was unashamedly themselves. "I'll have to remember that song, maybe you'll teach me the full version some day," he meowed with a soft smile.
Yet her burst of enthusiasm at his offer was something he didn't expect and his yellow eyes rounded with pleasant surprise. His ears perked up as he straightened his posture, nodding when she began explaining her predicament. "Of course I can help!" He chirped.
Glancing at his paw, he pressed it back against the ground and applied pressure. Without the thorn the wound didn't hurt, only feeling a small sting and a pressure sensation. Ideally resting his paw would be wise, but he was already on his paws, waving his bushy black tail. "Did you want me to help now? I don't mind climbing trees," he was no expert at climbing though he would be able to get the job done well enough, "then that will be one less thing you have to worry about." He shuffled his paws, keen to go and perform the productive task.
Larkpaw
With - [ Dawnrunner ;; Sandstream ;; Sunhawk ]
Location - [ Camp ]
Larkpaw grinned at his mentor, a spark of challenge in his green eyes, "You just worry about yourself," he meowed with a jocose flick of his tail. As Sunhawk approached, Larkpaw straightened up and blinked a warm greeting to the older ginger tom. "I think you three will be glad to have me there instead." He laughed, a jolly sound that insinuated his over-emphasized confidence was all in jest.
"Let's go!" Dawnrunner's enthusiasm - previously unseen at the mention of the patrol - was now found. With Sunhawk joining the ragtag group of cats, and Sandstream's playful teasing of Larkpaw, she couldn't help feeling a rejuvenated sense of excitement. As her paws thrummed across the earth towards the camp entrance of camp, she couldn't have been more starkly different from Sandstream.
Dawnrunner looked to Sunhawk as they padded through the territory, their bodies seemingly to automatically take them in the direction they needed to go, "How's the prey been running for you?" She began casually, "I just realised it's been a little while since we last were on a patrol together, with leaf-bare ending there's so much to do."
Larkpaw padded beside his mentor, beginning the patrol with his chest puffed out confidently, and gradually he appeared to become lost in thought. He shook his head quickly and looked at Sandstream with a serious gleam to his expression, "What kind of things will be see there? At the Hollow House?" He meowed quietly, not wanting the rest of the patrol to hear his sudden concern.
Jaywhistle
With - [ Ivyblaze ]
Location - [ Camp ]
Lost in her own thoughts, Jaywhistle didn't notice the approach of her clanmate until her name was called, making her jump. In an effort to hide her sudden fright, Jaywhistle scrambled to her paws and turned her head to look at the familiar tortoiseshell coat of Ivyblaze. "O-oh!" The scent of the lark filled her nostrils and sent a pang of hunger to her stomach. She had to swallow the sudden up of saliva in her mouth before continuing, "I was, uh, just thinking of getting something to eat," she meowed lightly, "thank you, I'd love to share." She added as Ivyblaze placed the lark at their paws.
Jaywhistle settled down into a crouched sitting position and curled her tail around her side, giving a small nod to Ivyblaze to indicate they should eat first.
In an effort to be conversational, Jaywhistle rummaged through her brain to think of words. "Lark is my favourite, the feathers are great for lining nests... I think Milkfur needs more in hers." She looked at the prey as she spoke, both hungry and too nervous to maintain eye contact.

Carefully plucking out the feathers of a corner of the bird, they dug in. When Jaywhistle mentioned her favorite being lark, Ivyblaze gave a purr of delight around their biteful. "Your favorite? It's my favorite too! I'll take note, don't worry about being hungry!" They nudged the silver tabby in what was meant to be a friendly manner, but probably was a little too forceful. "Milkfur needs feathers, eh? I guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow!" It would give an excuse to get out of the dawn patrol, anyway. Elders in need of feathers - a noble cause that would require sacrifice of their absence from the patrol, but this was about a clanmate in need. A senior clanmate. Ivyblaze ruminated over what they should say as they continued chewing the bird.

»»————- ★ ————-«« Embermask Camp With Woodcreek (ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs ) Embermask turned his head and saw Woodcreek. Just processing the words that the dark molly had spoken. Something about if he wanted to go hunting with her.
He figured it was time that he was useful for something around the Clan other than making jokes about the weather or dozing off in the sun, so he nodded and slowly got to his paws. "Sure," he meowed as he got onto his feet, trying not to sound awkward. He had a sense that the brown molly didn't like him. At all. "Where do you want to go?"
Embermask knew that there was a lot of hunting space around here, they had a large territory. There were places that certain warriors would go to find different prey. Such as Cloverdawn, the vain molly often brought her apprentice Brightpaw hunting in the forest. Embermask knew that Brightpaw probably hated it. In fact, he didn't see Cloverdawn in camp at the moment, she was most likely out hunting yet again. It was the only way the selfish feline could make herself useful to PierceClan.

Snowypaw | In the Nursery | With Brightpaw | ᴄᴏɴɪ﹣ғᴇʀᴏᴜs Snowypaw lowered her ears, face bright with embarrassment, that's right, she nearly forgot they were hiding. At Brightpaw's light push the molly tumbled backwards, landing tummy up with a little Oof! At her inquiry, she spread a wide, bashful grin. "Me? Aww, you know I can't talk to boys no good." She laughed, thinking back to how she acted around their den mate, Larkpaw. It was easy for her to be at ease around mollies and she really wasn't sure why. She had a traditional mother, one who taught her growing up that the best thing a molly can do for her clan is supply it with healthy, strong kits, so maybe it was something she felt she could bond over with other she-cats. Or maybe it was because she knew one day, one of these toms in the clan would be her mate, and she didn't wanna look like a fool in front of them.
Though even around Larkpaw, someone that Snowypaw didn't find hard to talk to, she was more hesitant and awkward. Snowypaw was a dire romantic, but mostly when it came to hooking up or imaging her friends with someone else. "One day my prince will sweep me off my paws, and whisk me away to a the lovely world of matehood... But until then I'd rather shirk my duties. She giggled. Tigerthyme | At Camp | With Rookfall | aether Tigerthyme bowed her head gratefully. "If you could help now it would be amazing!" She mewed, bounding towards the exit of the den, with a little skip in her step. "We'll want to harvest it before it gets too cold, and -" As she pushed through the curtain of lichen and ivy covering the den, she peeked up at the sky. The pastel colors of purple and blue were beginning to deepen, it would be moon-high soon, and one never could be too careful about the territory at night. "-it will get dark soon, is it alright if we hurry?" She asked gently, looking back at Rookfall as they began to leisurely made their way towards the exit of camp. "Obviously, not too fast to hurt your paw though." She smiled gingerly. Sandstream | Patrolling | With Sunhawk, Dawnrunner, and Larkpaw. | aether , Blaze ♡ It felt weird leading a patrol while being younger than Sunhawk, but it wasn't like a late night border patrol was anything to boast about. But still, he supposed that he should find himself a teeny bit grateful that Crowstar gave him this chance. Maybe he'd flex about it later when he was sharing tongues with someone over a meal. With a brisk, but not rushed pace the rag-tag group had left camp, and were heading towards the western front. As they made their way through the forest, the birdsongs had dwindled, and it grew serene and quiet. There was nothing but the sound of their paw steps crunching through the fallen, frostbitten leaves on the forest floor. They had just broken out of the woods and towards the large expanse of grasslands on the west that Larkpaw had spoken up.
He cast a side glance to his apprentince as they walked and grinned. "Heh, well you know I haven't been since I was about your age." He said casually with a flick of the tail. "It's surrounded by a huge, endless bog. Only thing there are dead trees and toads... But during the rainy moons, the mud there gets so thick that it creates a trap for anyone who sets paw there... I think there was a story about an apprentice being unable to make it out." He said that last part in a bit of a ramble, not aware that such a story might frighten his apprentice. The scatterbrained tom simply continued. "As for the two-leg nest itself, nothing has lived there for seasons... But, occasionally there's still smoking drifting up from the remains, as if someone, or something was living there." There was a level of eerie mystery to his tone. He glanced back down to his apprentice and playfully nudged him. "But don't worry, if anything was gonna eat ya it woulda done it by now. Because the beast that's supposed to reside there can see us from miles away~..." He whispered, now he was just trying to frighten Larkpaw a bit.

»»————- ★ ————-«« Woodcreek winced at the slightly discernable awkwardness in Embermask's tone. Her fault, she supposed. Woodcreek probably had a reputation for being critical at this point. "The streams," she suggested, trying to sound more upbeat. "It's been a lazy day, a cold swim might give us a boost." It would take a while for her fur to dry after that, what with it being already dark, but the haul Woodcreek was looking forward to bring in would make a damp nest worth it. "By the way, where is half of the clan?" The black-brown molly surveyed the camp. It appeared as though some of the clan were out, despite it being evening.
[small idea, what if instead of making separate rogue kits we could just have a mother and her kittens being found? It could theoretically kickstart the main plot a little]
