Among us is my current fixation, but it is hard to play when it is full of trolls and people swearing.
I made an OC out of it. I don't know whether this is good or bad.

I really liked playing Among Us with friends, especially when we’d play it other forumers. I didn’t enjoy it as much when I was solo with trolls. They kinda kill the game.

This video singlehandedly cemented my fascination with classic movie monsters again!! Really, really good video essay- I especially enjoyed the section about Godzilla and King Kong! I'll probably ramble more about sympathetic monster tropes in the future, but this video does a real good job covering my opinions! |

After several years of being really on and off with Terraria, I'm back in full force and spending multiple hours a day building, decorating, fishing, vibing, with some progression sprinkled mixed in here and there. I've honestly built so much in such short amount of time. I'm honestly so happy, it's been very therapeutic for me. :3 |

Usually when I tell people I've been diagnosed as autistic they go "and are you happy with that?" It's probably because they've come across people who weren't happy with their diagnosis, or saw it as a bad thing. For me, my life and mental health has improved since I got diagnosed. I now know what makes me different from others, and I've really embraced it. I'm proud of who I am. I hope y'all feel the same, you deserve to be happy  |

>random urge to maybe play skyrim again since it's been a while and i never fully tested all of the mods i had last time
>realize there are some glitches with vampire meshes
>spend 8 hours fixing them
>play a werewolf instead of a vampire because it sounded more fun and i'm stupid
>get the wolfing out of my system
>"hmm i think i also want to try a necromancy build for my vampire"
>get more mods and spend another 5 hours fixing them up
>play necromancer/vamp for a while but spend basically the entire time getting the character to where i want to be and realize i got so focused on that i forgot to actually have fun
>get a mad case of restart-itis with about 4-5 other characters
>briefly mention what i'm doing to my roommate and offhandedly mention i am having a hard time with skyrim modding when i have oblivion exactly how i want it but can't find the same mod for skyrim
>oops new hyperfixation engaged
all my time on skyrim was wasted, it's oblivion time babey. Cyrodill is home sweet home.

I really want friends and try to socialize and think about how cool it would be, but I get to a social event and I go:
Look at everything BUT the people, oh my goodness someone is talking to you. Give one word answers and they might stop talking to you.
But at the same time. I'm also think.
Someone is talking to you, this is the best thing ever. I never want them to stop.
They stop talking because I say something weird or another person joins in the convo and I stop talking because too many people.

One of my biggest special interests is Broadway/musical theatre and for Christmas yesterday I got upcoming tickets to see the new musical How To Dance In Ohio! (Which features 7 autistic characters authentically played by 7 actors who are also autistic in real life). My parents originally told me that Broadway tickets weren't on the table for gifts this year but then they heard about this show and changed their minds, and I'm so excited to see it!

Man looking back at my previous messages and I'm realizing how active I am on here! Happy belated anniversary to the thread!
Recently I've been looking at bumpers and interstitials from (now defunct) children's networks I used to watch as a kid! Said networks have sadly been taken over by bigger corporations and have been rebranded beyond recognition. I'm a MASSIVE nostalgia junkie even though I'm nowhere near old yet. Every few months I get the urge to go on a nostalgia spree and I love uncovering forgotten memories! If anyone wants further insight to what I'm talking about, let me know! I could ramble on and on (most of the things I'm looking at are from the early 2000s)
