Seems their taking the minimalists approach to the titles for the next arc. River & now Sky.

This just sounds like RiverClan must do everything they can to keep the truth of what's happened at the heart of their Clan inside their Clan, even if it means lying to the other Clans.

First: Flamepaw ok, Sunbeam ok, why is Fidgetflake on it?
Guess: River Clan has a big problem but keeps it a secret and later it threatens all the clans. Basically, River Clan starts a new             huge problem because they make the wrong decision.

Book names: River/Sky/Wind/Thunder/Shadow/Star

I’m keeping my fingers-crossed that they don’t make another arc that’s glaringly stilted, and the characters are dumbed down to an extremity, and the plots foundation becomes heavily reliant on the clans abject stupidity and laughable decision making in order to work.

The lighting on the cover seems to be a pinkish-purple. I like that the cats are much more visble on Sky than on River

Agreed! And I'm quite surprised but also excited to find out exactly what role Fidgetflake will play in this book since it is called Sky and he is on the cover. But all in due time. It will not be revealed until November of next year. Although I want to know now!

Ooh, yay! I really like the cover. But I have one thing to say: Flamepaw is still an apprentice? He was born in year 12 greenleaf and this cover looks like it's year 13 leaf-fall most likely. Yes, I'm going off the events timeline from the wiki. He also kind of looks like a tabby, though that might be the lightning. There's Sunbeam, okay. Fidgetflake surprised me, though. Especially given his wide eyes. Well, whatever the case, at least it looks like he might end up doing something.

So it seems like they will be naming the book titles after each Clan. I wonder if each cover will have a cat on it from the Clan in question.

Darkness Within, The Place of no Stars and A Light in the Mist all take place during greenleaf, so maybe River takes place near the end of it?
