I have finished very few of my cat references for the people I've met at college...
so step one is to actually finish those! I think I have the files for all of them (with the cat names attached to the correct outline), but most of them aren't colored in
Agavenose - along with Cariboustep, a...third-year? I think? who's in charge of a sort of...ongoing college orientation thingy for my group (which is pretty much the same as my history class). I've missed multiple meetings, and I think it's now officially over, so...I don't know her all that well. Oh well.
Aldertooth - a girl in my history class. One time I ran into her the night before a paper was due and we bonded over having not started yet.
Amaryllistail - a girl who used to live in the room next to mine but now lives in a room on the first floor.
Anhingafall - a girl who might as well live in the room next to mine. When I first met her, she and Limewhisker seemed to be having a competition to out-loud-and-weird each other. They also like to ask people if they (we) think they (the two of them) are dating. As far as I know, the answer is no, but they went to couples' therapy together for fun...? I'm pretty sure they are both into girls, and to be honest, I have no idea what the relationship situation is at this point, because I've heard so many contradicting things through the wall (NOT WEIRD THINGS) (well, sometimes weird, but not the type of weird you're thinking).
Armadillofoot - a guy at Adderbite's school who's really cute but also a terrible person. She's not too clear on the details of why he's terrible, besides that he "curved" her in a rude way (basically ignored her), but literally every person she's talked to hates him.
Birdclaw - she's in my history class and reminds me a lot of Barbetstrike (Barbetstrike was the calico from the summer before last with spring green eyes who hung out with Midnightpath, the tuxedo with the squiggly flash up her face).
Cacomistleclaw - one of Breccianose's friends, and now mine too. She calls everything a nest. For example, houses are people nests, and fridges are food nests. She will fight you on this.
Cariboustep - the counterpart to Agavenose. Ongoing orientation, probably over, I don't know him all that well, etc.
Carnationcloud - a girl (second year? third???) in my physics class/lab and my math class who loves Hot Wheels, things that go really fast, and things that collide. A fellow (planned?) physics major. I made her cat name Carnationcloud because when I met her she had her hair dyed light pink.
Clovewhisker - a girl in my history class. Gets very worked up when vending machines don't work properly.
Crocoitetail - one time I left an astronomy observing session with Breccianose and her friends, and we ran into this guy while trying to go to one of the specialized libraries (main library was open but it turns out the specialized libraries were closed by then). He's a piano technician. He showed us piano technician stuff. And played the organ for us. It was pretty cool.
Ebbwhisker - my self-proclaimed arch nemesis because of Pokémon Go.
Eclipsewhisker - a third-year girl in my physics class/lab and my math class. The only person I can actually count on to show up (even more so to show up anywhere remotely near on time) when we agree to meet to do physics homework together.
Edelweissclaw - a nonbinary person I technically met yesterday but who I had seen in physics and math class. They have decided to make their own unit system (like metric but not metric that's just an example). They also tried to make their own language once.
Emufur - one of Breccianose's friends, a girl I only met once.
Eskershade - the other night he showed up to our physics homework gathering. We were several problems in already, but we helped him with the three questions (question=concept, problem=math) pretty quickly. He spent about half an hour puzzling through the first problem, apparently not really understanding what I was telling him, before finally coming up with an answer. It was the wrong answer. I looked at his equation and typed the numbers into my calculator. It gave the right answer. We gave him some help on the next couple problems, but then he had to leave to go get dinner. I didn't see him in class the next day (when the homework was due). (For all I know, he could have been there; it's a big enough class...) I guess it's also possible that he's in the 10:00 section, but I recognized his name as someone from my class. Unless he just coincidentally has the same name as someone in that section. Who knows?
Gorsetalon - found me playing Pokémon Go and absorbed me into the group. They call me their right-hand man. One time they ordered a sandwich for me. That was nice.
Grapefang - has the same name as Breccianose's roommate but isn't her. She was in the (shared hallway) kitchen one time when I was microwaving macaroni.
Herringsplash - he's in my physics class and lab, but he transferred up to the next level of math. I kind of get a vibe of "I am Very Smart and You Need to Know That" from him, but not too badly. He tells terrible puns. Reminds me a little bit of Copperpelt, really. He has a notable voice, but I'm not good at describing voices.
Hornetwing - a third-year (?? second ??) in my physics class/lab and my math class. She also shows up to astronomy, but she's not technically part of the class. She's very weird and OWNS it. Also, on the rare occasion that we order a pizza during our physics homework gatherings, we make her be the one to interact with the delivery person.
Ivypatch - a girl in my history class who really likes the toy snakes that are always on the table.
Joeyfoot - a guy in my math class who often answers questions. But he answers them in very conversational terms. Things like "take that nifty little box and slap it in there." He's right a good amount of the time, but he's wrong a fair amount too, and sometimes he's so vague you can't quite tell. The scene would not be complete without a mention of his southern drawl, but as a Kentuckian myself I hope you know that's not meant judgmentally.
Juglanstep - a guy in my history class who kind of unintentionally looks like he should go into country music, but he's nice.
Kelpfeather - one of Breccianose's friends. I've met her twice.
Koalafur - a guy in my history class who just seems really soft. He doesn't get along with his roommate. He's basically always late to class.
Koiwhisker - my RA! She's cool.
Lilacfall - she's one of my Pokémon friends, but I don't really know her all that well. That's too bad. I hope I get to know her better soon.
Limewhisker - the girl in the room next door. I mean, there are two rooms next door to me, I guess, but she's an extremely loud person. I have a lot of things written down that I've heard her say from my room. It's nowhere near the amount of stuff that I hear, because I don't always have my phone/notebook on hand, I can't always transcribe fast enough to keep up with the conversation, and sometimes I only hear that she's speaking, not the specific words she's saying, but it's still a lot. Most of it doesn't make for good comic scripts, though. (Not that she isn't funny! It's just that, well, not everything she says is funny OR funny
on its own, and not all of it is proboards-approved or within the rules of this forum.
Longwhisker - one of Breccianose's friends, a girl with a very strong will. Maybe sometimes too strong, but usually that's a good thing.
Macadamiafur - a girl in my physics class/lab and my math class. She's fun. She sits behind me in physics, so she's probably seen the comics, though she probably doesn't know exactly what they are.
Marigoldclaw - a girl in my hall I don't know very well.
Mistypool - she's in my math class and the other hall in my floor. The other night Breccianose told me that people were putting apples in front of Mistypool's door, so we each took up an apple and added them to the pile. Mistypool caught us. She also knows I eat a lot of microwave macaroni.
Mongoosefur - a fourth-year in my physics class/lab. He hasn't taken physics in a really long time, but he's doing his best.
Needlestripe - a girl in my history class who loves Capri Suns.
Novastep - a girl in my history class. One time the teacher told her not to hold back on her thoughts about a movie we watched. Novastep had
a lot to say...
Nutriafur - a guy who was in my group for the ongoing orientation type thingy but actually not in my history class. I wish I had gone to more of those things.
Peatfeather - he looked a lot like Aniplume (Food-Aniplume) until he started growing a beard. Apparently there's a lot of vague negative sentiment toward him in the class, but not active dislike, just, like, annoyance. I guess I understand.
Puddlewish - a girl in my history class who always has really nice makeup looks. That sentence is meant to be a compliment to her, not an insult to other people who wear makeup. Makeup is nice. I just mean she has cool looks like pale green eyeshadow.
Rabbitpatch - one of Breccianose's friends. She seemed like she was kind of supposed to be the leader of the group, but it's really an impossible group to lead.
Runningwhisker - oh hey I still haven't posted Runningwhisker! She's Saltspeckle's friend from the summer before last, but I met her this past summer.
Ryefoot - a girl I met during the physics homework gathering the other night. Don't know if she's in my section or not. I didn't see her, but then I don't actively remember seeing her name before.
Sablenose - another Pokémon friend. They look like Adderbite.
Sealwhisker - also a Pokémon friend. He likes shiny hunting. He especially wants a shiny Duskull in Go.
Sharpfang - Mistypool's roommate. I gave her an outline similar to Jonquilpetal's (with the sideways spiky tufts).
Snapdragonclaw - the friend of the airbnb host with whom Adderbite and I stayed over the summer. I wish I remembered more of what she and the host said, but unfortunately...I don't. So Snapdragonclaw is in one comic, and the host is in zero.
Snapperpelt - Big Sushi. Seriously, that's how he introduced himself.
Sorrelstep - a Pokémon friend who doesn't care about shinies at all. He found a shiny one time and killed it on purpose. Apparently he has a YouTube channel where he does guitar covers. I only listened to one. It wasn't a song I'm familiar with, but it sounded good.
Tayraclaw - Limewhisker and Anhingafall's friend who looks like a mixture of Rockfang and Myotissong. I only met him once, but he kind of had an aura of "why am I doing this." No question mark necessary.
Vincapool - I might not wind up posting this reference sheet, because the two sketches I have of him were both made as IDKTP comics and have a second person in them that I don't know. That said! This is the official cat name for adidas boy. I...I didn't want to put this in the list for just anyone, but considering I don't know him? The best way to explain who adidas boy is, on the off chance someone is reading this post but hasn't read the last few pages of comments, is to just admit that he's a
really cute...
twenty-one-year-old man in my astronomy class. This is distressing because I only just turned nineteen. (Listen, I know I wouldn't have dated him anyway, and I have friends that are older than that, but just let me be distressed, all right!?)
Vireomask - a guy in my math class.
Zephyrfang - a girl in my history class who looks like Agateclaw to a surprising degree. Nice. I'm too tired to come up with anything more than that. It's 1:30 A.M. and I burned all my words ranting about adidas boy. I mean, I could rant more about adidas boy, but no one needs that, least of all me.
