Frustration flooded Quietstream’s thoughts. She looked at Palelight as her mind ran trying to come up with some idea, or anything. “Yes, try that.” She mewed to the she-cat in approval. They needed to do whatever they could, the last thing Quietstream wanted to do was take this news back to the rest of the clan. Everything had already felt so off and with the watering hole frozen she knew it would cause a fight, “we need to do everything we can. We can’t take this news back.” Quietstream said looking at Palelight with worry, she didn’t care to hide her emotion.

Palelight gave Quietstream a look of reassurance. "We will manage somehow." She said gently, her voice almost a whisper, as if she didn't truly believe her own words. The white cat took a deep breath, concentrating on the pool. Slowly, a twinkle of light flickered in the deep blue, illuminating the fish that swam past. Palelight studied the ice, the flicker glowing brighter for a moment before slowly fading like the spark of a fire. "It's hard to tell." She admitted, her eyes narrowing in thought. "We may be able to break it, we just have to be careful not to fall in; but it may be easier to see if anyone could melt it."

bump for me to get this back on participated) Wolfkit-Camp-Limekit and Smokethorn Wolfkit glared at the warrior, struggling to get his paws out of the snow that was burying them. "You can't do anything to us remember," he said, lashing his tail a bit. He wasn't going to let a warrior bully him or his sister. The more he struggled in the snow the more his paws just sank in. He gave a squeak of annoyance. Giving a thankful look when Limekit came over to try keep get his paws unburied. Limekit-Camp-Smokethorn and Wolfkit Limekit managed to get over her rising fear, to at least move closer to her brother and paw at the snow to try help him, get them unburied. She kept her gaze away from the cross warrior, she was going to mention the tom to her mother for sure, hoping the tom would be nice enough to hear another warrior out about not scaring kits, then from kits themselves. The young she kit hoped that when it came time for her ceremony, that she did not get paired with the tom as her mentor otherwise she felt she would die from fright. |

//Hello everyone! Just wanted to get everyone back to this clan. I love it and I love how it works, and I feel like it's dying. I want to save this clan before it's called necroposting. I hope (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ lily ♥ will come back, I think maybe she's just busy with her engagement and all (let's hope that's the case, we all like her). But I don't want KineticClan to die, and I don't think (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ lily ♥ does either. I'm not thinking that "I can reunite this clan as one and I will be its great leader until (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ lily ♥'s return" but I'm thinking "We can reunite this clan as one and we will manage it until (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ lily ♥'s return". The Discussion and Plotting thread has been marked as locked/necroposting already and I really don't want that to happen to this thread. I will make a temporary one if we must. Let's reunite KineticClan! What do you guys say? |

Apparently she got engaged around the time she disappeared, so she might be busy. But either way if she's not active, bumping it won't really help. |

(I’ve decided Palelight is going to be an innocent little bean) Palelight stared at the ice for a moment. “Now I wish we had an ice cat.” She laughed quietly, blissfully unaware of the growing tension that was growing in the clan. She knew the tension was building, any cat could easily sense how heavy the air in camp had become since last night, but she had decided to believe it was simply the weather. Confident in her belief that the clan was a happy, safe place. She had to in order to ease the anxiety that begged for the love and acceptance of everyone around her. She gave Rainstream an embarrassed look, tilting her head as she spoke. “We should've has Smokethorn along, he would have had no problem dealing with this.” She then looked back to the ice, narrowing her eyes as she thought. “I could try to illuminate underneath the ice, we can judge how thick it is that way. Better that than one of us falling in and getting stuck underneath.” The white cat’s voice was soft, hardly louder than a whisper, worried that her fellow warrior would be quick to dismiss her idea. She quickly glanced to the she-cat beside her from the corner of her eye, trying to gauge the cat’s reaction. Rainstream watched closely and anxiously, hoping that Palelight would succeed at her idea. “We’ll have to tell everyone, maybe someone could help,” she suggested but kept her gaze on what Palelight was doing. Rainstream was always interested in others powers, seeing the way they worked and looked, it was fascinating. |

Palelight gave her clanmate a quiet nod, her eyes lingering back on the ice as the light she produced completely faded away. She turned back to Rainstream and smiled, "yes, you're right." She told the she-cat, turning around to return to the camp. The white she-cat thought for a while while they walked, "have you never seen me use my powers before?"

Rainstream shook her head and glanced at Palelight, “nope, but you should show me more some day,” she mewed and focused her eyes back on the path in front of her. They trudged through the deepest of the snow, once she saw the camp entrance she felt relief. The snow was a pain to walk in when it’s so deep,

Palelight nodded, "I don't use it very often; it can be distracting. The kits love it though." She explained as they walked. She would often make firefly-like lights for the kits to chase, or to entertain the elders. Her power could be rather useful when used correctly, but it flashes of light could daze her clanmates just as much as it would prey or enemies. When they reached the camp, Palelight felt some relief, glad to see her clanmates weren't all hiding away from the cold.

“Oh I bet!” Rainstream mewed happily, despite everything being frozen was surprisingly keeping a good attitude about it all. As the entered the camp she felt relieved as Palelight was, “it’s not to see everyone out!” She mewed and glanced over to the medicine den, wondering if her sister was up yet. Regardless they needed to send out hunting patrol. She glanced over to Palelight, “we should probably get a hunting patrol out and someone to try to melt the ice?” She suggested to her after searching for Cosmicstar who was no where to be seen.
