"Why is this wedding so important to your mom? I mean, it seems to me that she just can't seem to let you go. You obviously don't live here fulltime anymore. How often do you see your mother anyway?" Mackenzie asked, looking over at him.

"And you wonder why she's making a fuss over you?" She shook her head, partially understanding why he acting the way he did about his mother. "She kinda resents the fact that you don't make time to come visit her and this is the only time she can really be with you. I'm not saying that whatever job you have over in the States isn't important or that you can't make time on purpose, but..." She sighed, shaking her head. Why did she even try? She was calling the kettle black. She did the same thing to her own family who acting the same way when she was home. She became silent and stared out the window.

[how much longer will he be there? I was going to have Mackenzie tell him something the day he leaves...not that she loves him...xD]
Mackenzie had heard a few of the songs on the album that was playing, like the song Anthem Part Two. She started to quietly sing along to the song.

[yeah, let's definitely time skip!]
"Yeah, definitely!" She brightened, turning to him. "Thank you again." She paused to kiss his cheek in gratitude before hopping out of the car. She closed the door and waved to him before trotting up the steps to her apartment. She unlocked the door and headed inside. She waved once more before shutting it behind her.

[okay. And let's try and not skip her game too. Lol]
Mackenzie made her way to the stadium. It was game day and she couldn't be more excited. She called Michael on the walk there. It was early, maybe nine when she called. She hoped she wasn't waking him up, but she was in too good of a mood to care if she did or not.

Mackenzie sent him a quick text with a link to his already purchased tickets. With the text she sent another one: Here's your tix Michael. Have fun <3
She was getting ready in the locker room. She wore a blue and white jersey with red socks. She came out and was third in line behind the coaches and her two captains. She smiled and waved and looked out in the crowd for Michael. (Should some girls see him and start screaming (perhaps while she's playing so she doesn't "see" it)

The game was very fast-paced and filled with action. Mackenzie played left midfielder and she was very aggressive. She was warned by her teammates about this particular team. They were rough and extremely physical. Mackenzie was angry when the ball was taken off her. She fought back, elbowing the girl as she went for the ball. In retaliation, the opponent punched her in the face, forcing her to go down. The opponent received a yellow card.
Mackenzie remained down for a few moments before getting to her feet to take the penalty kick her team was awarded.
The game was still 0-0. With the powerful kick, Mackenzie sent the ball into the box and her teammate was there to knock it into the back of the net.
[Have you figured out when/how Michael will tell her who he is?] [Also, do not be alarmed if some random person put you as an acquaintance on Google+ that was me. xDDD sorry if that's weird. I'll take it off.]

Mackenzie wasn't paying attention to the crowd as nothing happened while he was away.
The game then on to halftime was literally boring.
After halftime, Mackenzie was taken out at 66' minutes. She sat on the sidelines. The opponents scored once but by the end, Mackenzie's team scored two more times.

Waiting until the stadium cleared, Mackenzie came out of the locker room with her bag over her shoulder. She had showered and smelled fresh and looked nice. She saw him and smiled, walking over to him.

Mackenzie was so confused. She simply pushed her way out of the crowd. She squinted against the flashes and moved away until they were done. That's why I thought he looked familar. Her heart raced as she didn't know what to do.

Mackenzie simply shook her head. "I don't really know what to say, as I'm sure you don't either." She bit her lip. "I definitely felt like I recognized you from somewhere." She smiled. "But it's okay, honestly." She looked unsure. She didn't know where to go from here.

"Well, I think I would have been the scared one." She revealed. "I would have been afraid to do stuff with you and ask questions." She shook her head. "I'm the one who should be sorry."

She just shook her head. "This is so much to take in." She took a few deep breaths. "Is it always like this for you?"

"I want to be your friend outside the band," She smiled. "I wanted to be your friend even before I found out."
