Yep, that's the plan!
Right now I'm trying to decide between the nature of the protagonists' relationships and whether or not this is going to be another YA Paranormal type thing set in high school. If so, I have:
:: In which one student from each 'clique' is made to join a mysterious club. The archetypes/roles would be;
CLIQUES:
Geek (Highly knowledgeable about a certain subject) -
Nerd (One of/ the smartest student) -
Jock (One of/ the most athletic student) -
Theatre Kid (Usually only involved with their own club) -
Outsider/ (New to the school) -
Popular Kid/Prep (Well-known & well-connected) -
Delinquent/Rebel (Usually causing trouble or involved in it) -
Loner (Usually alone by choice) -
Drifter (Can move between cliques) -
But that's all rather basic... ^^" And probably too many characters.
Another idea is that the protagonists are supernatural beings who just learned they aren't alone and are like
There's a Big Bad, of course~
Well, that's true in all cases but the way it leans depends on the central plot/setting
There's also:: In which Character(s) operate a black market magic shop masquerading as being far less authentic than it really is. Approached by a frantic woman who has come to them as a last resort, claiming that her house is haunted and she's frightened. Around Halloween time a lot of dark wizards, witches, and the like exercise their strengthened powers and summon demons to do their bidding, but there have been much more- and more powerful ones- showing up as of late.
