× role-playing standards
first off, is god-modding. in which your character is super powerful, abnormally fast and good at everything. a mary-sue in bad situations. nope, not allowed. sorry, but that isn't gonna happen. this is a survival role-play. whichever characters actually make it out alive will be very hurt and will need medical attention as soon as they leave the catacombs. not gonna happen, not here.
second off, is power-playing. which is where you control someone else's character without permission or do something that they will not like with their character and give them no choice but to act on what you've done. give them a choice, please. unless you've planned it out, be fair. please.
third off, is spot-lighting. what i consider spot-lighting is taking away the main objective and plot of the story and warping it to only revolve around your character. just hold on, would you? everyone will get their shinning moment, but you have to wait your turn. got that? good.
× characters
the characters here are recommended to be real life internet stars. pewdiepie, jacksepticeye, markiplier, danisnotonfire, amazingphil, ect... those guys, they're real people. and while it's weird to think about, it's actually really fun. in this situation, they won't be themself, so make them however you want, just try to stay in character as much as possible.
original characters are not allowed in any sort of way. we have decided this because it'll go against the flow of the role-play. since the majority of the characters have already been some of the most popular internet stars, it wouldn't be really right to have an oc mixed in all of this. such as they might feel awkward or left out, as these people are all friends. mark, nate, jack, cry, marzia, matpat, dan, phil. these people all connect together through one or another. cry and marzia know each other because of felix. mark and jack are best friends. dan and phil live together. nate and mark are pretty good friends. matpat and nate are good friends. mark and jack are friends with dan and phil. see? it all connects.
that's why the things are the way they are.
now, one other thing. you CANNOT use yourself! at all! why? one, against the forum rules. two, way too much personal information. three, you realize the person the least known here is natewantstobattle, right? and he's fairly well known. try to keep it to the suggested so that everyone can connect and there isn't any awkwardness or no feelings of a bond at all. so the rp flows, you know? otherwise it'll make you maybe feel left out with your character and i really don't want that.
× activeness
i want you to be active. this role-play has been on and off for a while, but honestly it's becoming into this thing that we're loving so much. so all i ask is that you return. think about this. do you want to be a part of this? are you willing to actually come on here, even when you don't have muse for your character? no? then i ask that you reconsider joining. because then you'll be another person who joins and never comes back. and nothing's more annoying than that. i want you only to be on here once every three days, unless stated by you otherwise. if you're posting elsewhere and ignoring this place, you're likely to be deleted from here quickly. i have no patience for people who won't come back.
× literacy
i'll warn you now, the posts can get long. like, 1,000+ words long. depending on the muse and how everyone's doing, it'll range from two paragraphs to ten paragraphs or more. so it's probably considered advanced, but i'll allow semi-advanced, which is about 4 lines per character. easy to manage, right?
we average about three to six paragraphs each, so that's all. it's actually pretty easy when the people you're role-playing with are giving you more than enough to work with.
× romance & survival
first off, the rating stuff. since this is a new site, i believe the rules stated low-key PG13, so let's keep everything as best as we can to this.
secondly, the romance. if you can't tell by the title, we have two major ships in this role-play on the internet. phan and septiplier are the main ones, probably, but we'll have melix, pewdiecry and nateiplier and all that too.
you are allowed two characters. no original characters; youtubers with 500,but of those two characters one MUST die. absolutely die, no chance of survival, zip, nadda, done for. you don't have to announce which of the character you have will die or live, but please. no having two characters survive.
if you want to kill off both, great! honestly, if you ask beforehand, i'll allow things like a ghost. ahem, not like we have that planned out or anything. for reasons. anyways. just ask before assuming your character will be a ghost that haunts the group, alright? because cheshire is the only one who will allow that. and he might not like your character so he won't allow it.
× powers
your character's powers ARE limited. meaning there's a set limit to how much they can use them. these powers are an awakened part of their brain, so they're like muscles. use them too much and you'll get bad results. nose-bleeds, dizziness, fainting, all sorts of things. and remember this; the character do not know they have these powers. they will only show up when they absolutely need them, when their life or someone else's life is on the line. they cannot be used until then and even when they use them, it might be strange and they won't realize it unless it's a SUPER obvious power like fire, in which it'll only happen when they're literally about to die.
and once we reach the end of this whole thing with the catacombs, the characters will absolutely not be allowed their powers. cheshire will make it an illusion that they have them, but only in their minds until they get used to not having them again. that's it. the end of their powers.

And just because the spots are filled, doesn't mean it's private. It's always open to chatting and people to plot with us!
