Her smile soon turned into a frown as her gaze settled upon the man who had rescued her hours before. He was moving around, to escape most likely, especially when she specifically said not to. Men always had such stubborn egos, didn't they? Why couldn't he just listen??
She gritted her teeth, moving towards him. The nighttime guard was still positioned in the same spot she had just left him in moments ago. Causing a scene wouldn't end up well for the both of them, she knew that for sure.
"What are you doing??" She hissed, keeping her voice dangerously low.

The thief jumped slightly, startled by the voice and spun around to face the person. Oh this is just great. Out of all the people he had to run into at the time it just had to be the damn princess. He would've preferred a guard over this. That would be much easier to deal with than this.. "Ah.. I.." he stumbled over his words, trying to come up with a good excuse. But what could he say? She obviously knew what he was up to. He let out a frustrated sigh "Look, just do us both a favor and pretend you never saw me." He said in a hushed tone.

"I do that and you get taken over by the guards here." She raised a brow, glancing skeptically at the thief. "I don't know how good you are at being stealthy, but what I know for sure is that you won't make it out of here undetected. I've lived here my entire life, I think I'd know." "Plus," she added, disapproval leaking into her tone, "You aren't fit to even try to leave. You should know that by now."
