Foxpaw shook his head. "No there are alot more rules, I just don't want to bore you with them," he said with a small stretch. He did believe some of the rules should be removes, such as the rule that the leaders word was law, he had chosen to not go by that rule anymore after his wrongful exile, along with the exile of Leafshine, Snowpaw and Fogpaw.

Flower’s interest peaked. “Oh no, i wouldn’t mind hearing them!” She insisted with excitement. She layed down on her side and neatly curled her tail over her hind legs and patiently waited for for foxpaw to explain. Flower felt very curious about the rules foxpaw had to follow with the wildcats. But flower couldn’t help but realize how unhappy foxpaw sounded as he would talk about his clan. Foxpaw thought it over. "There's a rule that prey is to be eaten only and we are to give thank to Starclan for its life, new warriors hold a vigil the night of their ceremony, basically you stand guard for the night at the entrance and can't talk, when a new leader is made or the deputy is killed/exiled a new one needs to be named before moon high. Apprentices have to hunt e ought Prey to feed the elders before they are allowed to eat, an apprentice must also be 6 moons before being able to become an apprentice. A deputy needs to have mentored at least one before they are eligible for the role." He flicked his tail as he thought over the rules. "The clan if it neighbors with others will have a night called a gathering held on the full moon, its a night of truce and is used to share news with one another, and if you have a neighboring clan you are not allowed to trespass on their territory unless you are in dire need of help, such as needing herbs. Medicine cats can ignore the territory role though. But they have set limitations for when and why they can do it. We are to mark the borders daily, we are to never harm a kit nor let one be in danger, even if they are from another clan or are an outisder kit, the leaders word is absolute law. We don't need to kill cats to win a battle and killing should only be done if it is absolutely necessary to do so, like in a case of self defense. We are to reject the soft life of a kittypet." He felt he had gotten all the rules, and if he missed one he could always come back and tell Flower.

Fawnkit jumped up and spun around in circles. "Yay. Everyone in the clan is so nice. I wish Flora was here to see this." She looked around and motioned for Doe kit to join and then looked back at Frostripes. "We could play some sort of game or you could tell me about clan life maybe." She suggested happily.
Doekit watched as Fawnkit made a new friend. She shook her head when her sister motioned for her and layed down a distance away to watch over her sister. She looked out over the camp wondering what would happen there next. She knew she had smelled blood a couple days ago and heard what sounded like fighting but they had slept through whatever clean up had happened. She had heard others whisper that three cats had died. One of them the sibling of a kit she had played with. She sighed. This was a dangerous place but her sister loved it.

Flower’s eye’s widened. “That’s a lot of rules!” She mewed and sat up. She scratched her ears with her hind paw and glanced behind foxpaw where the forest is. “So. What do you think you’re new name will be like?” She asked. She was genuinely curious to see what foxpaw’s new name would be. Ember34(I think you forgot the forbidden romance rule and medicine cats cannot have a mate or kits rule!) |

Foxpaw blinked at her question. "Hm I'm not really sure what my new name will be," he admitted, he often never really thought about it, even as a kit, as his mind was more focused on doing pranks and carrying them out properly. "And yea there's a lot of rules but some dont pertain to us, like the ones involving other clans, because we arent near any other ones."

Leafshine slept in the leaders' den. This feels strange... I never thought I would become leader, but Nightstar suddenly diappeared and I had to take over. I'll most likely get my nine lives and leader name soon. Leafshine curled herself tighter and wrapped her tail around her nose.

He gave one last smile before turning and heading back for cat, a small purr slipping from him. Meeting Flower had made him the happiest he's been in a while.

Flower nodded and jumped up the fence. She turned her head and watched as fox paw padded away. She found herself sitting on the fence and silently watching the sun slip behind the trees. Am I falling for this wild cat? She asked herself. No…. He’s just a friend! After all, we’ve just met a couple days ago. Flower frowned. No matter how many times she tried to deny it, she knew she felt something special for foxpaw that she had never felt for anything else. Fawnkit thought for a second. She bounced around some more before laying down. "Ummm. Why don't you tell me how my path begins in the clan. I know I'm a kit and Scarabpaw said that soon I'll be an apprentice like him." She paused and took a deep breath. "What does that mean exactly?" She moved her paws around to show she was still bursting with energy.

"When you turn six moons old, our leader will give you the name paw and receive a mentor. You will be taught how to hunt, fight and be a warrior within the clan." Frostripes explained. "You will participate in hunting and border patrols along with doing little tasks here and there. It's all of work but eventually you will be given a warrior name."

Fawnkit thumped her paws in excitement over the thought of being an apprentice. "Oh fun. I can't wait to learn to hunt. I'm going to catch all sorts of prey and hunt for the whole clan." She got squeaky at the end of her sentence and jumped up and spun around. "Whats it like being a warrior?" She asked as she knew Froststripes was a warrior name. "And who do you think my mentor will be? Could it be you? Or Dandelionnose?"

Frostripes chuckles a little at Fawnkit's enthusiasm. "Being a warrior is rewarding to say the least. You are feeding your clan, training the next generation and protecting everyone from danger. As for your mentor, I have no idea who it will be. The leader figures out who would be the bet fit."

Darkheart/hunting/alone
Darkheart lifted her nose and drank in the scents of the forest. Mouse-dung! She cursed angrily. I’m a full-grown warrior and I can’t even find a mouse! She scolded herself and creeped through a few large bushes. Suddenly she scented a scent of mouse. She lowered her head and creeped forward. She hasn’t ate since yesterday. She had refused to eat anything that morning before she hunted for her clan. She creeped forward and leaped onto the mouse. She attempted to scoop it up and bite its neck, but it slipped through he paws and escaped. She lashed her tail and bit back a yowl of frustration.
