Never heard of Bully before. O: What's it about? (Assuming I can find it if I search.) It's a game where you're at a reform school or something, and you beat up bullies

OFF and Ib are two free RPGs I cannot recommend highly enough. The fighting mechanics might be lackluster in OFF, but the story more than makes up for it. Ib doesn't really have a combat system, it's more puzzle and story focused if that's your thing. If either sound interesting to you I can get you the download link. Deltarune, Grimm's Hollow, Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, Emily is Away, and Doki Doki Literature Club are also good free games. Moving away from the free stuff, Suits and Undertale are also great. You've probably heard a ton about Undertale so I won't get into that, but behind OFF I think it's my favorite RPG. As for Suits, if you like OFF you'll like it. It's a lot sillier than OFF but still has some horror elements to it. The Portal games are great if you haven't played them, they aren't overhyped at all. Celeste is also something I'd look into if you like platformers. My favorite game of all time though is Night in the Woods. I ADORE this game and if you get anything I recommend to you, this should be it. That's all the notable stuff I can rec to you without more info, but I'll also throw in some games I haven't played but have heard are really good. Everhood, Corpse Party, Misao, Mad Father, The Witch's House MV, Heartbound, Kindergarten, Omori, Detention, Devotion, Lisa, OneShot, and Yume Nikki.

what types of games do you normally like playing? Anything by thatgamecompany (and in that style, heh.) I've also played RPG, various simulation games, various games that are more puzzle based. I'm still down to play just about anything, but I also might suck at it to start, so usually something with a storyline is there to get me through the tricky parts.

WolfQuest is an awesome simulation that does very well at close-to-accurate portrayal of a Yellowstone wolf's life within a video game's capabilities. It's available on Steam and still being updated pretty often with more major features planned to be added over the next few years If you're up for a sort of management simulator with animals, Zoo Tycoon and Planet Zoo are both fun. Zoo Tycoon is more recognizable and as an older game doesn't sport amazing graphics, but there's player-made content (for 2, at least) that makes the whole look a lot nicer. Planet Zoo is basically the next-gen spiritual successor and is currently a Steam-exclusive game. Tons more building and customization abilities with it. But ZT is the one with dinosaurs, so The classic point-and-click shooter kinda game Peggle is fun too if you wanna look into it. That and mainstream stuff like Minecraft and Among Us are the best non-animal games I recognize XD

What genres are you into? Do you like strategy games? RPGs? Simulation-type games? It may also be helpful to know your specs c: See, I like all sorts. But I like ones where I can run around a fair bit - genre doesn't matter as much as if I can see things and explore a bit on the side. Ah, you're like me, then! I enjoy a variety of different games myself. By and large, I prefer RPGs. I love a good story with a beautiful open world to explore! I'm also somebody who really fixates on world-building lore and characterization, heh. The games I find myself coming back to most often are Skyrim, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Assassin's Creed. And my all-time favorite franchise is Dragon Age! Each one is quite different from the next, but they all have combat, exploration, story-driven quests, and interesting characters. If I had to suggest just one, then I'd highly recommend Dragon Age. I'd be happy to expand on them if you'd like more information! c: (but you're welcome to just Google them yourself, of course. I'm not gonna stop you and lecture you or anything xD) For something totally and completely different, there's the Civilization games. It's a turn-based strategy game in which you pick a real-world civilization to play as (the options range from France to Japan to the Iroquois to the Zulus) and try to win with either Science, Culture, Diplomacy, or straight-up World Domination. Might sound boring, but it's actually strangely addicting once you get into it. It's a bit micro-managey and it'll throw a lot of information at you at first, but don't let it intimidate you. You'll be staying up 'til 3 am racing other countries to build world wonders and discover new technologies soon enough. "Just one more turn" is the series' catchphrase for a reason c; I'd recommend either Civ V or Civ VI. All of these are available on Steam, and it'll tell you what the minimum and recommended specs/requirements are for your PC to be able to play the game. If you have Windows, you can find your specs by opening up the Control Panel and going to System and Security > System. You can also use systemlabsrequirement.com to see if your PC can run the game you want to play ^^

I personally have only played a handful of games in my life from different genres but I'm now sticking to playing The Sims (3 and 4) which is just a life simulator and not a very difficult game to play (really expensive though). Other than that, I love watching Let's Plays so here are a few recommendations:
Art of Murder (tried playing it myself but totally sucked at puzzles and finding hidden things) It's a collection of games about a detective who solves murder mysteries.
Risen (tried playing it myself but gigantic killer moths made me abandon it really quickly) It's an adventure game (one of three) about getting stranded on a beach and becoming a hero...somehow.
Bully (watched a Let's Play by Kubz Scouts and thought it was hilarious as a teen) It's about a troubled boy going to a school full of bullies on a quest to beat them all up.
Fable (played it myself for a little while and loved it) It's an RPG about going on quests, fighting literally anyone and you can choose to either be good or evil.
Until Dawn (watched a Let's Play by a German Youtuber and enjoyed it) It's a survival horror game where you play as many different characters in succession. All of your choices matter as the so called butterfly effect influences how a chain of events can either be good or bad for the group of teenagers trapped in a cabin in the woods.

The Yakuza series, you won’t regret it. It comes off as a series crime drama but there’s lots of mini games and side stories to keep you preoccupied. So for lack of a better descriptor, it’s like The Godfather but it occasionally gets interrupted by an episode of The Simpsons. Plus the game doesn’t shame you for playing on easy mode lol. But yeah be mindful that they’re all rated M so there is violence and suggestive content but nothing too explicit

Open world survival crafting would be ARK: Survival Evolved. And there are different servers to suit your tastes with that game. Bad thing is, you need to catch it on a sale.

Slime rancher is cute and on sale right now (:
If you're looking for value for your dollar, darkest dungeon is a roguelike that gives you a lot of replay if you like the style. I'd watch a vid on it and then catch it on sale if you like the turn based combat system. You basically get three games with it: the base game, the harder difficulty + DLC for once you feel you mastered the basics, a HUGE variety of steam workshop mods that change it even more, and then two mods that completely rework and rebalance the game into basically a different game. I can't really recommend it enough if you like the dungeon crawl, turn based combat, and a long haul slow grind endgame.
if you're looking for something to pick up and play, realm of the mad god is interesting. Its free and easy to start. The f2p grind is awful and I honestly wouldn't recommend trying to grind for endgame gear or anything like that, but it's a fun enough game to mess around with for a few hours every couple of months just for fun. It's a simple bullet hell style multiplayer game with permadeath. it takes like 10-15m to max a character, then you earn fame which you get after that character dies to invest in permanent buffs for future runs.
osu! is one of the best rhythm games out there. It's free and completely community driven. Another easy to pick up game, though it's a slow learning process. Usually takes a few days to really get it down and a few weeks to get into the swing of things. If you (or anyone here, honestly, I love teaching osu) pick it up, let me know and I can tell you the tips and tricks and different settings you should probably turn on to make learning easier. The defaults are a little garbage ngl, tho it is a game you can play a ton of different ways depending on preference. At least let me help you get a skin because the default is like 10 years old and UGLY

Osu is the circle clicky game (: mintedstar/fur🦇 idk if you have any drawing tablets, but a lot of players on osu prefer using those to a mouse if you have one available. I actually started playing because I got a tablet and didn't draw with it often and wanted to find another use for it haha. You gotta do a little setup with them tho cuz it would be exhausting to use the full screen area on a bigger tablet (usually you set it up to be a ratio and use just a quarter). Otherwise, all you need is a mouse and keyboard and maybe a 16G flash drive so you don't eat into your computer storage with the songs. They're very small individually, but well, after a while you'll get a lot of them. I need to clear mine soon I have like 3k songs downloaded oops. But everything is community mapped so as long as the artist doesn't go crazy with copyright and stuff, you'll probably find a few songs from your favorites. Tho osu community does love their jpop, kpop and deathmetal for the harder stuff. I've been playing like 6+ years and can barely pass most 8* difficulties so this is like, uh, godtier. Chose this play tho cuz it's slow start.
