Alrighty so I'm sure this idea has been done before but essentially what I want to do is this:
The five clans lived in harmony for countless moons. During their time they've endured many hardships such as a murderous ex-leader Tigerstar, SkyClan being lost, an attack from outsiders known as BloodClan, a move across a mountain, and more. However this time... they weren't able to solve their issue.
It all started when an overabundance of twolegs in strange plastic yellow coverings traversed the territories. First SkyClan was forced to shelter with ThunderClan, then WindClan was forced to shelter with RiverClan. The twolegs were spreading a strange substance in their wake and that substance was causing cats to become deathly ill. In only a few sunrises many of the elders had been lost, then apprentices, and... well, many were lost.
It was decided the only option was to leave. Those who were fit enough had to flee and go as far away as possible if they were to survive this strange plague the twolegs brought upon the territories.
That is where this story begins...
This small group of healthy cats from each of the five clans fled. Eventually they find themselves a new place to call a territory but nobody expected how difficult it would be to start life anew in strange lands.
Think... Dawn Of The Clans cross The New Prophecy. These cats already know the clan lore and history, but they need to form new clans.
Why call it Roots?
Well honestly the name is somewhat undecided but 'Roots' are what I'll refer to the original clan cats as when they start mingling with kittypets and rogues at the new territory. The are Roots of the new clans, digging into the earth and holding everything together.

Roots are symbolic. A Root is the symbol of stabillity, it is something that is firmly established and often something that is interconnected. The Roots are anchored into their Clans and it is their duty to continue on the memory and traditions of the beloved Clans they were forced to flee. They can either be from ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, or SkyClan but that is no longer the case; they no longer have the five clans. It is their duty to rekindle and rebuild in the strange new lands.
In this RP the clan cats will not refer to themselves as 'roots'. They will still use the same terminology that everyone is accustomed to, but for the sake of a cool title, they are the Roots of the Clans.
About This RP
So this RP is kind of a mixture of Dawn Of The Clans and The New Prophecy. A small, ragtag group of cats from all five clans have just settled into a new territory (we'll skip the whole traveling part for the sake of getting into the main plot) and now they need to... rebuild.
The main plot is listed below but the general idea of this RP is that there are few clan-born cats and they end up having kittypets, rogues, and loners join their ranks. They need to teach the strangers about their ways and the strangers are able to teach the clan cats about the new territories.
Outside of the main plot I've also arranged a section for subplots in which particular characters can have their own personal struggles and journeys. This keeps the RP interesting in times where it feels like the main plot isn't moving very quickly, because each person can assign a character a specific plot with another character and RP that whilst waiting.
Rules

➤ Whilst this may sound ironic given we are RPing warrior cats, please ensure you keep your character 'realistic'. No abnormal colours, no powers, no winning every fight, etc.
➤ Staying active can be hard sometimes! (Trust me I know lol!) So I don't want to tell everyone they have be on a specific amount of times a week, instead, please just be on as often as you as are able C: When times are busy it is totally fine to disappear for a while, I won't delete your characters. If possible I would prefer some notice if you are leaving for an extended period of time, BUT, I also understand that isn't always possible. If you do leave please note we may use your character to further the main plot if necessary. We will not directly RP the character, it is still your character, but sometimes they may need to be moved to suit the plot. Upon your return, you can simply pick up where we left off!

Strangers... they are kittypets, rogues, and loners. They had no knowledge of what a Clan is until the Clan cats stumble into the area and call it home. Some outsiders are immediately hostile because their territory has been stripped from them, while others are intrigued by the newcomers. For the Clan cats to rebuild they need to recruit as many strangers as possible in order sustain a new territory and ensure everyone is wellfed, so it is the responsibility of the Clan cats to educate and make peace. There are some rogues they will never convince to join the ranks as they remain hostile and there are some cats that hardly have to be convinced.

Muse S is scared of being close to others. As every cat they have gotten close with have died. Their parents, their littermates, their mentor and their best friend. S has convinced themselves that they are cursed. But when Muse T starts to court them they get scared and start pushing T away. Not wanting the cat to die as well. Despite how hard T tries they can't convince S they will be fine. Will T ever be successful or will they eventually give up? And will S ever be able to get away from the deaths that haunt them?
Muse F has a disability they have hidden since birth. It has affected their ability to be a warrior. They desire to become clan leader one day. But when Muse G finds out about it, what will happen? Will G help keep F's secret just that a secret? or will G rat out F since he shares the same ambition?
Muse C is an outsider who is expecting kits, she knows that muse D, a clan cat, is the father but when she goes to the clan to tell D and potentially join the clan, D attempts to kill her, but E manages to intervene. C is taken into the clan but nobody believes that D was the one that attacked her, as D is a respectable cat in the clan. Will D come around and be a father to his kits? Or will he get found out of his crime? What happens when E starts to fall for her?
Muse M has had a crush on their childhood friend Muse N since they were made warriors at the same time. M didn't know what caused their feelings to change. But when N takes Muse O has a mate, M feels their jealousy fester. When a 'mishap' occurs when M and O are on a patrol together, N leans on M for comfort. But M is unable to run from their guilt. What happens when M is haunted by O? Will they confess? Or will they try and stay with N?

May I join this??? I love the idea.
Can I claim a meddy cat and a queen possibly(would have three kits. mate and two of the kits would be open to claim)?? I'll also make a few others of course.
And maybe the med cat (who's gonna be a she-cat) falls in love and starts to expect kits and has to try and hide that while also helping rebuild in the new land and everything. I like forbidden romance plots.
I'll join and I can help out! I'm really good with territory descriptions and all that and if you give me a mood for how you want it then I can incorporate the description to match with the mood.
I can help with a few other things as well if needed.

I guess I should note that there will only be a small number of clan cats (Roots) and mostly there will be rogues/kittypets who join the clans. So perhaps the meddy cat meets a stranger in the new territory and love happens to bloom! I'm also a sucker for a forbidden romance plot haha.
Right now I'm trying to think of a territory that is interesting... somewhere that there would be rogues and kittypets.

yeah i'm thinking maybe coastal town but over the other side of the hill there could be a fresh water stream, which is where the cats can drink and stuff. that way its kind of like the best of both worlds? xD

i'm wondering with the clans if there should be one or two (or more, but i feel like more than 2 might get a bit hard to manage). i was thinking that maybe when the cats get to the new territory they do start living together and there's one cat who is more of a natural leader (perhaps it is a leader who survived, not sure, but this will be my character) and they take the role of leading the group. however there's another cat who also wants to be a leader, so the two groups separate and there's a bit of a hostile air between them. that way it will be open to more plots BUT it won't get to out of control trying to manage all the clans haha
whatcha think of that idea?

[ I think that sounds like an excellent idea. It adds a bit of spice to the whole thing, and lots of potential for some side plots. I think it also lends it self well to the idea of some overarching conflict, too. As you know, I love playing the kind of jerkface, over-confident, self-important character xD Maybe it could be more of a like the original group starts to disagree over big clan decision and that leads to a fissure in the ranks? Let me know how you've daydreamed it! I'm happy to make this play out just as you imagined ^^

Ah perfect! If you want you can RP jerkface who goes and forms their own clan xD they would have to be, to a certain extent, stubborn and hotheaded if they abandon the group to form their own clan lol.
Oooh yeah! Maybe when its time to decide the leader my character steps up like 'i'll do it' and others start to agree, which is when other dude is like 'no i want to do it!' and then commences the conflict and separation.
Haha thank you! This is getting me super excited too, I love it! Did you have any opinions regarding the type of territory? I have this coastal + hilly forest thing going as per the pictures above, do you reckon that's interesting enough?

About This RP

When joining this RP, unless you are a Root (which there are limited positions as there aren't many clan-born cats left), your cat will not have a clan name! Instead they will have a rogue or kittypet name which can be anything at all. The cats will have the option to keep their names or change their names so you can consider that too.

Camps
The camps are rather generic, truth be told, so I won't go into too much depth. ClanOne resides in an area where the slope moves downwards. Each den is located within rocky crevices, with the Leaders den being the highest on the slope, the Queens are slightly lower, with Elders just to the right of the Queens nook. Apprentices are further down, and finally, Warriors are at the very front of the camp, looking down the slope and being the first to know of any potential intruders. The medicine cat has a small nook just above the warriors den.
 ClanTwo resides in the middle of their territory where the slope begins to level out. Their camp is denoted by the mossy boulders and great trees with winding, interlocking roots. The medicine cat stores their herbs in a small series of tunnels among the roots of a particularly large tree. The leader lives in the hollow of a fallen tree. Warriors reside in the cleft of a mossy rock overhang, a small area in the back of the overhang have been dug out so the area is soft and warm. Apprentices live amongst the roots of another tree. Queens live in the protection of a small cave amongst the rocks, it slopes downwards and has been dug out to provide more space. Elders live in the hollow of a fallen tree near the nursery entrance.
The Territory
This RP is set in a coastal town that has rolling hills filled with lush bushland.
 The clans camps resides to the right of this picture; imagine first a train track, then a hill that slopes down towards a gully. At the base of this gully is a fresh water stream and mossy boulders. The stream is wide enough that it is easy enough to wade across however most cats would prefer to use a set of stones to cross, further upstream is a fallen log however this has been claimed by ClanOne.
Every full moon when the Clans meet for the Gathering they have agreed to meet atop of a fallen monster (in human: car). It has long since passed and it's hard outer shell has become overgrown with moss, it's interior is full of leaf litter - it is truly dead. The two proclaimed leaders sit atop the monster which is in a clearing, allowing the moon light to stray through the branches above. The Gathering Place is located a short distance from the Gully Stream and on the border of the two territories.
Another notable landmark that is not claimed by either clan is the Thundering Tunnel. It is said that the Thunder Beast (in human: a train) once called this tunnel home but it is now empty. No cat has ever been all the way through the tunnel, however, it must end somewhere for every now and again a gust of wind will make the eerie dark entrance howl. The Thundering Tunnel is located at the top of the hill, near the Thunder Beast Trail (in human: train tracks). The Thunder Beast Trail must be crossed for cats to enter twolegplace.
The Gully Stream

ClanOne
ClanOne is located further up the slope, so their territory can be denoted by exhausting inclines, rocky slopes, and waterfalls. If one was to traverse UP the Gully Stream they would come across the Waterfall, a feature of ClanOne's territory. Some brave cats have taken to fishing and swimming in this area. Many interesting creatures can be found in the rocks such as crabs and turtles which is great amusement for apprentices and young warriors. The Waterfall is only a short distance from the camp so on a nice day it can be a hub for social interaction.
Further downstream there is a fallen tree that acts as a bridge for crossing the stream. It is moss-covered so during rain one must be particularly careful when they cross.
There are a peculiar set of rocky steps formed into the wall of a rock. No one knows how they got there but they are a fascinating fixture. These rocky steps are towards the bottom of the slope (near the clan border). The area surrounding is full of bare stone and rocky slopes, excellent for hunting.

Being towards the lower end of slope, the stream enters ClanTwo in a rushing fashion however ClanTwo's territory levels out quickly, meaning that the stream becomes calmer. Nearby camp, the stream babbles peacefully and cats have become accustomed to fishing and wading through the water. Turtle Rock is named as such due to the abundance of turtles that climb onto the rocks, kits and apprentices often have fun scaring them away. The stream serves as a hub for social gatherings when the weather is nice as it is one of the few places in the territory that gets satisfactory light.
Deeper into the territory is a mossy thicket which hides an abundance of prey. Most of the territory is covered with ferns, fallen trees, and mossy outcrops; some cats may find it dark and depressing, others thrive.
Near the Thunder Beast Trail towards twolegplace, a strange abandoned twoleg nest remains untouched for moons. Sometimes warriors will hunt there, but often the medicine cat will find many satisfactory herbs.

Twoleg Place
 Twoleg Place has a swath of houses, yards, parks, and greenery. Most notably though it is a coastal town, meaning it is right beside the beach. The local kittypets and rogues are very accustomed to the hustle-bustle of the twolegs, but the high population of twolegs can be a shock to the clan-born cats. It won't be often that the clans will need to interact with the beach, but if they ever do, just know one thing: it can be extremely dangerous. Twolegs let their dogs roam free on the sandy shore and greenways, if not careful a cat will become a fun new toy to one of the dogs.

[ I like the coastal/hilly vibe. I think it gives a lot of options for different kinds of cats, so it gives people some creative freedom. I also think it'd be cool to highlight skills that some of the cats would have to have to live in a landscape like this. Like, for example, it'd be really useful to be a strong swimmer or a really nimble climber. Or even like a good fisher, things like that. Don't know how it could necessarily be worked in but it definitely could in some way? ]

Neat! Also I like that idea of different strengths and stuff, I think I'll incorporate that as a kind of optional thing people can do. Like a strength/weakness section on the joining form o: It would just more serve as what kind of plots could work with them and stuff, or just add a little to the character.
