My best experiences were Deviantart. I had a lot of friends I met because of the series, people liked my art and I roleplayed warriors often on there. It was a very fun time imo. Nobody was aggressive over opinions, there were no series debates, just a lot of users admiring others' art. Sure, people had childish squabbles on there now and then, but for the most part deviantart has been my most positive experience with the warriors community. I would say a lot of fans of Warriors are ultimately in it for the art and RPs, some people I met haven't really read the books but just wanted to get in on the feral cat OC action. So, I'd agree, the art side is pretty chill since the focus is more on the cat aesthetics rather than the fascinating contents of the book.

If you want my opinion as someone who's seen not only the community here but also on Tumblr and Twitter if that's alright. Tumblr and Twitter have ripped people in the community/fandoms to shreds just for very trivial things compared to here where people will fight and maybe block, but also like, you won't get a callout smearing you here like you would in Tumblr and Twitter over it because unlike those sites this place forbids it at least. You'll get death threats and the like there compared to here, where at worst there's a bad egg deciding to shove their way in. Honestly if it wasn't for these forums I wouldn't even have anymore interaction with the Warriors community at all and would be just gone, as I've left the Tumblr one for the sake of my mental health, and Twitter is just awful.the thing about tumb/twit/insta is that your experience is largely based off the people you follow. There's tens of thousands more people on those sites than the few hundred on here, and that obviously means there are more "bad eggs". I just feel like what I've seen on here and in discords surrounding this site is just as bad if not worse than twt. but thats my experience. It's largely calmed down from what it was like in 16/17/18 but yeeeesh it was pretty bad. and I've talked to many people who feel like they've been "run off" this site by other users, just asking around about this site you get many negative responses about it for being a 'drama community' or full of -phobes. thats not a reputation you get by being a great fandom. again just my opinion not looking for a fight I understand where you're coming from. From someone who has had her own fair share of how things used to be on here, it definitely used to be very intense a few years ago. I had a lot of anxiety back then because of how people were treated and how I was treated. But like Otter said, I believe this place has tamed down a lot these days. and that's saying a lot from me because I used to feel VERY uncomfortable on here. Twitter and other websites are far worse than the forums nowadays. At the worst, you're just gonna get a child calling you out for your behavior on here these days, but Sand will quickly back it up and call them out.

I actually had a lot of experiences with people and those who read the books as well. It was both art and people talking about the books for me. I enjoyed debating on there because most were chill and politely agreed to disagree (this was before the forums became calmer) and I felt very comfortable there. We talked a lot about the characters and I made a bunch of AUs and rants. I really wish deviantart never changed. It's not the same now.
