I would kill for a Warriorclan arc tbh.
A soft reboot without having to do the basicass "PURGE" or "timeskip" and instead have it be like Skyclan's Destiny where we go to a whole new cast far away from the mains and have a story on them there without touching the others too much. I wouldn't mind a Warriorclan arc, new characters, conflicts outside the usual "Oh a trespasser from another clan got our squirrel!), we'd be back in the forest territory somewhat which needs more screentime, and we can get attached to them more with an overarching plot for 6 books.
Wishful thinking tho.

non religious warrior cats PLEASE I mean Warriorclan is obviously aware of Starclan (I think? havent read GSV tbh) but having a group of cats who largely just don't care about religon or starclan... please. im so sick of 'we need to listen to what our ancestors are saying' just MAKE UR OWN DECISIONS PLEASE
i would so be down for a warriorclan arc (altho except maybe.. get a new more official group name lol warriorclan is cute as a nickname but hard to take seriously sometimes)

i like the idea of seeing warriorclan develop into their own unique version of a "clan". alas, that's probably not what we'd get.

Do you think it's possible that Arc 8 may be about RiverClan? They don't have a Medicine cat at the moment (and maybe even after the end of TBC) and due to that one could call them 'a starless clan' (metaphorically speaking, I mean)... Just a possibility.

Would be interesting, especially since this means Mothwing has to return to RiverClan probably, to train another apprentice. And she doesn't have strong spiritual ties to StarClan, so maybe her apprentice will be the key to reconnecting the living and the dead? Who knows. |

If the whole Dark Forest situation isn't resovlved in A Light in the Mist I can also see this arc or at least the first book being about fixing that issue by deciding what is to be done with the so called "evil cats from hell".
But I'm excited to find out the official title tomorrow, although A Starless Clan seems to be the most likely option.

Not gonna lie, the arc being about RiverClan's medicine cat situation would be so cool. Or about both WarriorClan and RiverClan!
I'm just really hoping that it's going to be about WarriorClan tbh.

It would be cool RiverClan gets a POV who's Mothwing's apprentice and said apprentice also decides to not believe in StarClan (well, like Mothwing now, s/he knows they exist but doesn't think they are worth worshipping, they are just cats), and everyone in RiverClan is trying to pressure said apprentice into caring about StarClan. But they just want to stick by their mentor Mothwing and focus on the non-spiritual aspects of being a medicine cat.

Now, I love WarriorClan. I love them just as much as SkyClan. And y'all know how much I love SkyClan.
But. I don't think it's time for a WarriorClan arc just yet. With the way things stand right now, we are nowhere near done with the current conflict. There is simply no way every single loose end is going to be tied up in ALIM. No way. It would be stupid to leave the main Clans when there is so much material to work with for arc 8.
My guess is a RiverClan centered arc with a POV from the new meddie cat apprentice. We always get a medicine cat POV, and this is the only good option for it. Plus it'll be very interesting to see how Mothwing trains this apprentice without Leafpool's guidance. A second POV will definitely be one of Spotfur's kits. ThunderClan is in shambles right now and I'm not confident it will be restored by the end of ALIM. If we do have a third POV, I'd want it to be Rootspring again. Yes he's not a new character, but he is an interesting one and I love reading his POV. RootxBristle is not going to end anytime soon and I agree that they could end up leading the charge toward warrior code reform.
