Cloudwillow
The steady light purr the queen admitted continued and grew louder as he pressed against her belly. Subtle but it meant the world. Cloudwillow licked his cheek as she straightened himself. Her whiskers twitched in amusement, always the perfect leader. She couldn't have been more proud of him and the unborn kits she was carrying. If they grew up to be anything like him she'd be more proud of them than anything in this world. He also didn't sound too happy about sleeping in his den alone, of course there was no avoiding it with how small his den was. Though she wasn't too fond of it herself either. She missed his warmth and his snoring. She never thought she'd miss that but she did.
His comment about her own snores earned a flick of her tail on his ear and a playful side eye. "It is your snores that you wake up to not mine. I don't snore." Again her whiskers twitched, she knew she snored, especially now the belly didn't help. The queen would never admit that she snored though, no matter how many cats pointed it out. "As for sleep it was fine, there is to much room. Its weird to spread out and not have my paw in someone's mouth." She laughed lightly, nestling herself further into the tom. While she could she wanted to be as close to him as she could get.
She nodded as she listened to his plans, that all sounded like perfectly planned morning. The she-cat missed hunting, maybe a walk would be nice. A short one, she wasn't going to be going very far. "Yes the fresh-kill pile has been very well stocked as of recent." She mewed her gaze matching his as she looked out at the camp. She blinked as he mentioned if she had eaten, now that she thought about it she hadn't. "No my heart I haven't, have you? Would you care to share something?" She asked tilting her head to the side.
Fernleap
"Team hunting is a great way to find prey that may be hiding or that you scared into hiding." She said, "Sometimes it happens on purpose, other times when one fails the make opportunities for someone else." Fernleap shook out her fur a bit more as the cold air of morning hit her. Rain was heavy in the air, so she didn't think this was going to be a long training session. She was confident in her apprentices abilities already. He'd shown a lot of promise and his want to be better than the other apprentices made him a hard worker. "The rocky meadows? A good choice, I haven't heard of patrols being sent there either. And it is the perfect place for prey to hide." The multi-colored she-cat nodded and followed the young cats lead to their destination. "It is about working together, no one is better than the other and letting ego get in the way means a failed catch for both parties." She said, "Communication and strategy is key."
Poppypaw
She jumped a bit as her mentor jumped, the young she-cat had forgotten to make noise again. As per usual she ended up scaring herself too, but she moved right along. "Watermint." She nodded, noting it herself. Her blue gaze scanned the herbs that were in front of them and for a moment she was silent. "It looks like we will be needing more raspberry leaves, borgage, since we have two queens we should stock up on that. We are going to have new kits any day now right?" She asked tilting her head to the side. "Oh and.... Marigold, that is low as well. Did I get them all?"
