Sigulf

Sigulf leaned in a bit, his balance clearly a little impaired. "Is that a challenge?" He questioned, pointing a finger at the massive moose. He regathered his footing, using the wall to hold his weight while he attempted to recover his orientation. He pulled his waterskin out again, taking another swig. "Thith stuff'll really getch your blood runnin'!" He exclaimed, his speech slurring a little. "Itth gonna be sad when I run outta thith stuff."

Cleo winces and rubs the back of her neck. "Uh sorry." She said giving him a apologetic smile. She might as well try and fix this. "I'm assuming you heard something pretty funny?"

"I did, in fact. People do tend to laugh at jokes." Though the phrase was sarcastic, there was no malice in his tone. "I get it, though. You're not the only one." He tilted his head to gesture to the animals giving him strange looks as he passed. Her concern was understandable, she just seemed she'd be fun to mess with a little.

"Kayan. Apology accepted." He took the offered hoof with a grin. At least she was being friendly, though that may have just been a false front. Kayan was still glad, either way; he'd had worse interactions. "I'm not the only hyena around, but I'm definitely the nicest - if you're planning on coming to these markets often you'll be hearing that laugh more than once, so you should try get used to it."

The panther let out a saturnine chuckle, shaking his head. "I think the waiting is the worst part." John stated. "I wish they'd just hurry up and do whatever they're going to do. If they want a fight, I'm sure every Greenwood soldier would gladly give their lives to protect their kingdom, but this uncertainty has everyone on edge."

Alistair

Alistair thought on it for a moment before giving his advisor a curt nod. "Alright. We'll send a messenger." The lion stood. "And make sure they're well trusted. If this message falls into the wrong hands, it may very well unite all three kingdoms against us."

Sigulf

"I think you're just chicken." Sigulf replied, tucking away the waterskin again. "Well, the offer's gone. Guess I'm saving the rest for tomorrow. The wolf let out a short laugh. "Last time I drank too much, I woke up next to some cow." He paused for a moment before adding, "Actually, I think she was a bison."

Calvin nodded his head in agreement. He knew just about every soldier and knight would be more than willing to put their life on the line for Greenwood. "I'm no soldier but I will fight to protect my family." His father made sure he had plenty of combat training just in case. "How are your fellow guards doing?"


"Of course your grace." The adviser said bowing to him. "Is there anything else you desire?"



"Do you think Shining Eden will strike? The king is unsure if we ought to side with them or not." Saber said as he flicked his tail back and forth. Saber often found himself conflicted when it came to Shining Eden. He admired their strength and military prowess but the residents could be such jerks.



"I'll keep that in mind." Cleo said. If she came this way, she would try and keep an eye out for him.

"As well as they can be, given the circumstances." John replied. "There's been a few quarrels among the guardsmen, though no one has been killed as of yet. One of our men got a knife in the shoulder over a sip of ale, though he's expected to be back on duty by next week. The attacker has been relieved of duty and routinely punished. They grow restless and I think having something to do other than train and wait around would benefit them."

Alistair

"That is all." The lion confirmed. "Now leave me. I grow weary and would like to rest before we continue any other planning. Do not disturb me unless it is absolutely necessary." With that, Alistair exited through a door to the right of the throne, entering into a hallway. He followed the corridor down until he reached a spiral staircase. He ascended the stairs and entered the room at the top. Inside was a large bedroom, adorned with many trophies of past battles and assorted weapons. He sat at a large desk and pulled out a quill. He began logging the day's interactions and what actions were taken in regards to whatever situations arose. He often did this to clear his head and think.

Sigulf

"No, it was a bison." Sigulf replied, not really getting the meaning of the Moose's words. "But I'll go to the courtyard. Birke is usually around there and he still owes me five gold pieces from a game of hnefatafl." The wolf began to walk towards the courtyard. His footing wasn't sturdy, but he put his hand against the wall to give himself much needed balance.

The moose sighed, already tired of this. But as a higher rank they felt obligated to somewhat care for the drunken guard. They stayed close enough to catch him if he fell but not so close they were uncomfortable with his presence. "Your inability to comprehend my words amazes me."

Name: Jenna Leonheart


Description: Jenna stands at a respectable five feet eight inches in height and sports a fairly muscular build. Her fur is a light tan color with faded black stripes running across her arms, legs, and head. Her eyes are the color of emeralds. Her average attire consists of a formal gown, but with metal armor plates on the shoulder. However, while in battle she wears a metal breastplate as well as a pair of gauntlets. She would also wear a pair of metal leg bracers. One more key item she wears is a pendent that bares the royal crest.

Kingdom and Rank: Jenna is the princess of Shining Eden


Personality: Jenna is a very quite women who will follow her fathers orders without uttering a word of edgewise. She is this way for two reasons. She has viewed her father with both admiration and fear. This has caused her to push herself to far from time to time in the vain hope of pleasing her father. However, she has as of late formed a habit of sneaking away from the palace and spending time amongst the common people.


Likes/Dislikes: Jenna finds the most joy when she takes her little trips to the commons. It is somewhat therapeutic to her. As for her dislikes, that would have to be the constant training. The only reason that she continues to do so is because she doesn't want to disappoint her father.


Weapon(s): Jenna loves to wield a weapon called a Trishul, which is akin to a trident. However, when that weapon is unavailable she uses a pair of knives.


Background: Jenna was born to the royal family of the kingdom of Shining Eden. As such she was taught to be a proper princess as well as how to fight.

"Well." Saber paused for a few minutes to gather his thoughts. "I feel useless when nothing is happening. We have no reason to fight but if Shining Eden is the aggressor we ought to fight back!" If they took over Grennwood, they would be next for sure. The Frozen Lands would find a way to stay neutral somehow.


Calvin bites the inside of his cheek and nods his head slowly. "I see." He ponders this for a moment wondering if they should give the soldiers to do. "I could talk to my father and see if we could set something up like a friendly competition to ease their anxiety."

The moose grabbed the back of Sigulf's clothes, pulling him back from stumbling and landing face first in a puddle. It was embarrassing enough him waltzing around drunk. "This courtyard could certainly use more maintenance." They muttered. It never really defrosted, always covered in some layer of snow, so in turn any damage never truly got fixed aside from covering it up and pretending it wasn't there.

Saber nodded his head once more. "Gotta keep these soldiers especially these new recruits." He said flicking his tail back and forth. They recently had a handful of new recruits and he had a the pleasure of whipping them into shape.




"Your welcome." Calvin said smiling even more. He liked serving his people and keeping them happy. "Is there anything else?" Calvin asked tilting his head to the side slightly.
