Gotten to read more! I like the story a lot, but there's a lot of exposition.  Particularly in chapter 1. It might be more expressive to think of scenes to show world building rather than have the main character just talk about the world building. |

Yeah! Which I understand, but it can also be very clunky to read since it is a reader's first introduction into a new world and set of characters. ^^
