Hsgkajdakjdfaljd yeah yeah. Luca: I was helpful, now please go on a date with me to show your appreciation c: )
Luca | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
Luca whistled lowly at Agnars brute strength. The hatched had dug deeply into her chest, no healing would have been able to bring her back from that. He turned his attention away from the fallen Bandit and hurried to Agnars side "Are you alright?" he asked, sounding genuinely concerned. A part of him was also grateful he wasn't on Agnars other side, and in prime location to be stabbed by a wild arrow "What an attack, though! I didn't think it possible for me to be more in love." Luca continued theatrically, patting Agnar on his uninjured side. He took note of the battle finishing up with the final bandit, but a quick glance told him they'd be able to handle it just fine.
Megumi | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
The sound of battle died down to one and Megumi finished off the bandit underneath her claws. She felt much better now, glad to have gotten revenge against the annoying rat. Her paws were stained red, and her pelt covered in small annoying cuts. She gazed at her claws with mild distaste, hoping there would be a river nearby she could wash off the rancid blood with. Megumi sat back on her haunches and glanced over her shoulder to see what state the other students were in and how the final fight would finish. Obviously she wasn't going to step in, that was below her.

Golden Deer | Estelle | Stables with Jasmine ✯ “Yes, though it does not appear to be open to students at present, I have heard that the Goddess Tower is one such place where you could see the stars in all their glory. If I am not mistaken, students are only allowed up there in lieu of certain events? And then there is the Star Terrace which must be aptly named!” Estelle pointed over in the general vicinity of both places as she spoke, a wondering look to her gaze. She wasn’t the sort of person who was chomping at the bit to break school rules. In fact, it was quite the opposite but knowing that the two most interesting places in the school were out of bounds did make her think. “Looking out the window or climbing up to the dorm roof cannot compare.” Her focus returned to the girl before her as she absent-mindedly patted Astrophel’s muzzle. “That is very admirable. I have always thought knights to have great strength, honour and perseverance and, considering how much time time you spend at the training grounds, you must already be half-way there. Still, to have started training so early! Us students must like like utter weaklings to you and the knights!” She laughed gently before looking over at the steed Jasmine had referred to as Hephaestus. “Ah, Hephaestus! That is a lovely name,” she murmured, smiling at the brown horse. “May I? Say hello to him, that is?”

Agnar | Forest | Luca, Bandit Bashers
Agnar gave a slight nod at Luca's question, trying to ignore the pain which seemingly subsided for a moment before flaring up again. Fortunately the arrow hadn't cut deep and while he couldn't block out the sharp and burning sensation he felt kind of relieved too that neither he nor Luca had been fully hit by it. "Really couldn't just have fired a normal arrow with no eerie power to it, could she," he snorted, briefly giving a lopsided smile. At Luca's next remark he shook his head and let out a short laugh, kind of grateful for the distraction even if the dancer's constant flirting could get a bit grating. Still, it probably was a good thing that Megumi and Imrie hadn't heard him being back at his usual nerve-grinding behaviour. "Just a technique I learned back home. Want me to introduce you to the guy who taught me?" he joked before giving a more genuine smile. "No, but I'm glad that worked out. Guess your dagger throw helped me get a clean shot at her." He briefly glanced over to Imrie and Callan to see how they were faring against their bandit. If they were having any trouble he supposed he could step in but from the looks of it they were doing well on their own.
Jasmine | Stables | EstelleAt the mention of the Goddess Tower and the Star Terrace she nodded. "Yeah, the view is really great. Too bad neither of them are open on a normal day," she said. "But the Star Terrace is open to students more often than the tower. You can go there on each of the Saint's days. And you should look forward to the Blue Sea Moon. The Star Terrace will be open on the weekends then." Having lived here for about eight years she was more familiar with the way things were run at Garreg Mach than the students. Jasmine let out a quiet laugh when Estelle went on about knights and her observations. "Thank you. I know there are still some things I need to work to really get on their level, both in combat and upholding our virtues, but it feels great to see some progress. Besides," she then added with a slight grin, "it's always interesting to go up against some of the students frequenting the training grounds. Especially when we focus on the same weapons" At her question she glanced over at Hephaestus and nodded. "Of course, he's very relaxed around the people here." With a smile she went over to him and motioned for Estelle to follow. He lowered his head when she approached and while Jasmine patted his muzzle he slightly turned his head to look at the other girl. "He's used to being around many people so you can come closer if you like."

Will get relies up in a bit, a printer decided to break and the it people didn't pick up, so trying to see if I can fix it) I did not, but it came, but then he had to leave to go get some stuff and I haven't seen him since, rip printer you shall be remembered, ypu shall be lived on by the broken vacuum and the ticket scanners) Ye she did)
Imrie-Forest-Callan,Bandit that joins his friends Imrie drew her sword, that she had forgotten the existence of due to the annoying behavior of Luca, the questionable leadership of Ambrose, and then the audacity of the bandits launching failed ambushes on them. She was skilled with the weapon, but it wasn't her preference to use in fights. None the less she took a stance with it, waiting, before rushing in behind Callan, and slashed the weapon across the bandit as he attempted to block Callan's attack.
Bandit-Forest-Callan, Imrie The bandit staggered back, and barely had time to block Callan's attack, the weapon cutting into his arm. Unable to prevent Imrie's attack, the man slowly collapsed to the ground. "I...should have...stayed behind," he muttered more to himself before closing his eyes.
Elara-Entrance to Dining Hall-Nèo Elara flinched at the snarl, another whimper leaving her. She peeked out a bit from her hands to stare cautiously at the giant rabbit. She had heard of tanguels before she just never interacted with one. Her face paled at his next comment, as she stood up backing up cautiously from Nèo. "I don't think they would throw you in a soup..." She murmured quietly. "Maybe a scolding from Hera...but I don't think they would kill you over it..." She didn't know the full extent to the reasoning of Nèo being at Garreg Mach, but she felt she could at least be certain the church wouldn't kill him over hurting someone.

(At least you remembered you still had to write replies, I totally forgot how I still have one left xD Gonna post that one tomorrow either before I leave for work or once I'm back home. Aaaand done.) Néo | Entrance to Dining Hall | ElaraStill grinning Néo watched Elara back up a little. Humans sure were sensitive. Though it probably didn't apply to all of them. When he had trained with the Lions earlier today most of them hadn't seemed like the type to be intimidated by him, even when he had briefly transformed before being told that he was to train in his humanform today. But maybe it was different with the Eagles. Given Elara's reaction to him it was unlikely that Megumi had ever shown them her beastform. For a moment he watched Elara curiously as she spoke. Yup, this really did seem like the first time for her to see a transformed Taguel. "Hm... yeah, maybe," he said. "They'd need a better reason for that." He suddenly sat back on his haunches, briefly towering over the girl, before finally taking his other form. "Wouldn't be too sure about the cooking thing though," he continued with a smirk as he crossed his arms. "They are serving rabbit skewers here from time to time, you know. Not the same as eating Taguel of course but man, what a way to make us feel safe and welcome here."
(Jasmine's totally gonna order a bunch of rabbit skewers whenever they serve them in the dining hall. So she has some on her to eat in front of Megumi or Néo in hopes of offending them in case the Taguel have a soft spot for rabbits xD "Hey Rabbit, guess what we're having for lunch today! That's right: rabbit!")
Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Konstantin watched as Searc went to pick up a lance. The Deer seemed determined and there was no doubt that he was already quite skilled with both lances and swords. Given his family's standing he had certainly received some good training already. Probably. From what Konstantin had seen Neason didn't seem even half as skilled as Searc but then again their father most likely had different expectations for them. Just like most nobles who reared multiple children of which at least one was crestless and therefor, at least according to their narrow mindset, inferior and unfit to inherit their father's rank and title. Konstantin didn't get to think about that for long though as Searc returned with the new weapon. "Alright. It is only the beginning of the year but I believe you already have more experience than most of your peers," he said as he took his usual stance, neither purely defensive nor offensive. "Let's begin." He watched his opponent closely, ready to counter whatever he would throw at him.
(Guess it could take a while until either of them can land a hit on the other. Konstantin will most likely dodge most attacks without much effort and move quickly enough to do a counter attack. Searc is probably able to block or dodge those at first since at the beginning Konstantin will be more on the defense to evaluate Searc's technique and skill before going on the offense. Unless you want this to be a super one-sided fight xD)
Callan | Forest | Imrie, Bandit Bashers
Callan stepped back from the bandit and gave a small nod of acknowledgement at Imrie. So far she had only been using magic so he didn't know how skilled she was with a sword. Then he briefly glanced at the others, only wanting to make sure "their" bandits had been dealt with. "Is that all of them?" There were three bandits right here and he and Imrie had taken another one down before joining the others. So that meant at least four of the bandits had been dealt with. He didn't doubt that the fifth bandit had been taken care of too though. Either Megumi or Luca and Agnar had probably dealt with that one. Or maybe Ambrose had decided to be useful after all. As that thought crossed his mind Callan turned to Imrie. "Uh... aren't we missing someone? Incompetent, annoying and, you know, supposed to help us with the bandits?"

Searc-Training Grounds-Konstantin Searc watched as Konstantin took a defensive stance, he brushed it off, he was willing to go the offensive, he readied the lance queitly. Studying the professor for a bit, he shifted his foot back before he launched forward to perform an attack, aiming low for the professor's leg. He wanted to get a read for just how fast the other's reaction time was, if it was quick, he would need to rely on more quick repeating attacks with the lance, if it was slow, he could plan to do more regular attacks, as he would be able to take his time with the attacks.
sounds good, searc will probably be able to block counters yea, but when konstantin goes on the offensive he def probably switch to defense, but will end up losing the fight)
Imrie-ForestCallan,Bandit Bashers Imrie looked over to the rest of the group. "Looks like the last of them yea," she said, relieved that it was over. It wasn't as interesting as she was hoping for, but she at least got some decent experience from all of this, and she got to see how some of the student faired in battle. "Oh no...o sad," she said, realizing what Callan was implying. "Bandits must have gotten him, he will be missed dearly." If only they were so lucky, as the knight came on over, looking like he hadn't even lifted a finger once to fight anyone.
Ambrose-Forest-Bandit Bashers "hello everyone," he said waving to them all. He had watched the fight instead of actively being a part of it, he had mostly kept an eye on the beastkin, and on the other outsiders, then he had on Luca, the dancer had no interesting qualities whatsoever to the knight. "Wouldn't believe it, but my horse just up and ran off, so naturally I had to go get her, the poor thing probably got spooked by the bandits." He flashed them a kind smile. "But I see that you all managed just fine in my absence, I'll make sure to let Hera know to give you guys the proper credit. I'm proud of all of you, I knew I brought the right students for the job."
Elara-Dining Hall-Neo Elara bit at her lip as she thought. "Yea..that isn't the most appealing thing to learn I'm sure," she said. Now she was wondering if it was made from rabbits, or if the meat might also have come from tanguels. She shook out her head to clear her thoughts from going out the wrong way. "Maybe they will get rid of it? So that way you guys aren't made uncomfortable or unwelcomed here?" She tried to think of the other meals, where there meals that made the other beastkins uncomfortable? "AH! I'm sorry," she stammered out. "That would probably make things worse for you, with those that enjoy the meal knowing why it got taken off..." She kept her gaze on the ground.

Luca | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
"We all made it! A successful fight for sure! It would have been a shame to lose anyone here." Luca said while nodding "The school wouldn't of felt the same. Especially had I been lost." he patted Agnar on the shoulder in thanks. Even if a few of them had taken some damage, they'd done pretty well. He had honestly thought it might be harder, considering the crimes that had put these bandits on the chopping block.
Megumi | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
Megumi snorted at the idea that their air headed professor got taken out by a bandit. If only they were so lucky. As it turned out though, not even someone like Ambrose was weak enough for the bandits. They truly were a mess. She would have had a field day if they hadn't been so good while working as a team. It was slightly embarrassing really. She shook off her pelt and shifted back into her human form.

Agnar | Forest | Luca, Bandit Bashers
"Not sure if everyone here would agree but yeah," he agreed with a laugh. As he looked over at the others he briefly shot Ambrose a glare, whispering a skeptical "riiiight" but immediately forced an understanding smile. He didn't bother with it for too long though, sneering at him instead. Oh well, it wasn't like they had needed him. While it would have made things easier they had managed without the knight. "Guess we should pick up our knives and arrows before we head back," he said to Luca. While Agnar hadn't used the bow for long and had only fired two arrows before he had opted for his sword and then the hatchet he could also pick up some that had been fired by the bandit leader. Would be a shame to waste them. As for getting the hatchet back... it depended on how the others would think of it. Some would probably think yanking it out of the bandit was gross and he also wasn't sure if it was considered disrespectful in Fódlan. He kinda hoped that no one here was this sensitive though.
Callan | Forest | Imrie, Bandit Bashers
"A real loss for the knights but we'll be forever grateful for his sacrifice," he said. "It'll be a party, I mean funeral to remember- oh crap." Just then Ambrose showed up and Callan cringed a little at the knight's bad timing. Hopefully he hadn't heard his and Imrie's remarks. At the explanation, or rather excuse, he shook his head. If Ambrose was telling the truth he was even more incapable than they had originally thought. But even that was better than the other option: that Ambrose had stayed out of this entirely to sit back and watch them deal with the bandits.
Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Despite already having guessed how Searc would attack based on how he had moved right before it Konstantin deliberately sidestepped it a moment later than he usually would. He also deliberately delayed his own attack by a split second after he moved his own lance to block Searc's and force him back. He knew that Searc would most likely counter the attack from above, even if he hadn't moved slower than he usually would, but it allowed him to get a better read on the student. Not that he expected Searc to be fooled by this, Konstantin could tell he wasn't an idiot. But it would let him learn more about his opponent than if he had settled for going on the offense right away.
Néo | Dining Hall | Elara
"Nah, wouldn't want to limit your options. I've seen how much you humans love your food." With an amused snort he shrugged. He definitely wasn't going to ask for the rabbit skewers to get taken off of the menu. Not because it would make him feel bad for those who enjoyed those meals though. He simply didn't want the humans to do him any favors. Besides, it wasn't like he actually minded. Sure, he wasn't going to eat any of those skewers but it also didn't bother him if others did unless they went out of their way to draw his attention to it. "Besides, we'll all be fighting bandits or other people soon enough. I think having to kill a fellow human would be worse for you than for us to watch you guys eat rabbit," he then said. While he managed to make it sound like an innocent, if accidentally insensitive, remark he was really starting to enjoy messing with this meek student. He doubted he could hide it for much longer but for now he would keep trying to pretend to just be curious. "You'll be actually fighting your own species, after all. Can't imagine it being easy. We Taguel wouldn't dream of turning against our own kind so it's kinda weird to hear about humans trying to rob or murder each other and having to be executed for it."
(At least he doesn't know about Osoric. Néo would totally use that as an example or make remarks like "oh well, at least the taguel can always trust their family, unlike you humans" whenever he has to deal with Elara xD)

Ambrose-Forest-Bandit Bashers
Ambrose did not seem to notice what the other students had said about him being dead, the man was not that observant, let's be real. His horse shook out her head a bit, with a snort. "So if you all are ready we can head back now," he said, smiling. "I'm sure we will get back in time for you guys to get something to eat, before you have to head for your dorms." He looked at them all over once. "And maybe see uh....plant professor about getting patched up if you need it! Anyways good work Bandit Bashers!!" Despite the fact he hadn't done anything.
Imrie-Forest-Callan,Bandit Bashers "Agreed though, would have been the only party I would willing have gone to," she said to Callan, quiet enough that the knight wouldn't hear her, though he probably wouldn't have if she had spoken it loud enough. She looked to the others before turning her gaze back to Callan. "Next time, maybe we will get lucky then, even if we aren't with." She had grown to enjoy the Golden Deer student's company, and found he wasn't all that bad of a person, and he was able to handle himself in a fight, part of her hoped to fight him in the mock battle to test his skills for herself.
Searc-Training Grounds-Konstantin Searc moved back ever so slightly to blocked the attack, before adjusting his footing and aiming for another attack, going from the above, his eye watching the professor cautiously. He doubted the professor was actually this slow, and currently was trying to figure out what angle the professor was going for, if it was going to be a sudden attack or if it was just the professor taking it easy on him, either way it was a little irritating.
Elara-Dining Hall-Neo Elara listened to him quietly, she supposed that it made sense, it wasn't like the tanguel would be forced into eating the food if they didn't want to. "You have a point there," she said. "But I don't think I'd be able to kill anyone." She didn't like the idea of having to take someone else's blood, why couldn't they just try talk with the people they would be sent to deal with? Or even just arrest them so that the church could just deal with it. She flinched a bit at his last comment. " Yea, it's unfortunately something we have to deal with," she said, forcing a smile. he doesnt really need to XD, all he has to do is just talk about how humans kill each other and it will affect her)

Luca | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
"Good work team!" Luca was just as chipper as their professor, but at the very least he had done some work in taking down the bandits. Though, compared to everyone else one could argue he'd done the least out of the students. But that didn't seem to bother him, he just happily followed along after the Professor, keeping an eye out on their injured teammates. No one had taken too bad of an injury, thankfully.
Megumi | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
The Taguel noted that Luca had looked over at her, but just returned the slightly concerned look with a sneer. These cuts were nothing more than a flesh wound. She was in a slightly better mood than when they had left though. She'd gotten plenty of exercise and had a chance to get some pent up rage out on the humans. Humans she was allowed to eviscerate and destroy.

Callan | Forest | Imrie, Bandit Bashers
Callan nodded in agreement. He wasn't someone who was wild about parties either. "Who knows? Maybe Searc will volunteer when there's a bigger threat," he suggested. "I don't think he'd be willing to put up with him for long." Not that he could know for sure, Callan hadn't really interacted with Searc so far and avoided him as best as he could. But he did expect him to become annoyed with Ambrose pretty quickly. He briefly glanced over at the knight and nodded. He was all for heading back, mostly so he didn't have to spend even more time here with a bunch of dead bandits. "I just hope the others won't immediately interrogate me about this," he said. It wasn't really something he would want to deal with right after this. Also, there was a chance that some were curious about what he could tell them about the students from the other houses and he wasn't sure if it was fair to them for him to share that information. "Besides, did you see how the head bandit coated some of her arrows with magic? I wonder if we can do that with other weapons." He lifted his sword a little, giving it a thoughtful look. "I'd rather spend some time looking into that than deal with a bunch of questions from the others. Not that I mind too much but I'd rather not deal with that so soon after our battle."
(Thanks a lot, bandit leader, you're giving him ideas. Not that it'll amount to much for now, it'll definitely take a lot of practice for him to use magic on a weapon like that.)
Agnar | Forest | Bandit Bashers
"Yeah, guess we didn't do too badly," he said with a slight grin. While Megumi and to a lesser extend he himself had earned some annoying cuts on them it wasn't anything they couldn't handle. "Poor bandits though, they would be so embarrassed if they knew what we call ourselves." Not that he would feel too sorry for them, they still had been bandits who had attacked plenty of merchants and most of those usually didn't have many ways of defending themselves. Still, it wasn't a pleasant experience, having to kill other people. Since this hadn't been the first time he had to deal with bandits though Agnar could deal with it. As the group began to make their way back he glanced at each of them. He didn't worry about Ambrose. As a knight he was used to this and besides, he hadn't even contributed in any way. The others though probably had much less experience with it. "Hey, so...," he began, unsure of whether he should even ask them or not. "Are you guys doing alright?" He gave a nod towards the clearing where they had killed most of the bandits. "After that, I mean." So far no one seemed too upset but it was hard to tell what everyone was actually thinking.
Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Konstantin adjusted his grip on the lance slightly to block the attack, putting just enough force behind it to push the other weapon aside. Then he took a half step back, first going for a attack from the side, as it would take his opponent slightly more time to block it from there, and just as quickly he moved out of the way and went for another attack, this one lower and from Searc's other side. Unlike before he didn't slow down this time. He would still sidestep or block the student's attacks but it was clear that he was going in the offense now.
Néo | Dining Hall | Elara
Néo slightly tilted his head at that but then nodded. "You don't? Yeah, I guess you don't seem like the type." It didn't really surprise him that much, Elara did seem pretty meek to him. "Not exactly the best place for you then, huh? Talk about bad luck, being send to an academy where you're expected to do that pretty much every month. Man, parents sure know how to send their kids off to some place where they know they'll be miserable!" He gave a short laugh and shook his head. It was meant to be a joke to get under her skin but by saying that he had also acknowledged that, in a way, they were in the same boat, at least so far that Garreg Mach wasn't exactly the best place for them, albeit for different reasons. He had admitted he had something in common with one of those stupid humans. Yuck. Néo scowled at the realization but then he just shrugged. "Why are you here, anyway?" he asked, looking slightly confused. "I mean, you pretty much just said that you're not gonna be good at dealing with the killing-stuff. Is this so you're ready to succeed your parents? Guess that's why most nobles are here."
(Néo doesn't know which students are commoners and which ones are nobles, aside from the House Leaders of course. And I guess he can figure out that Estelle and Vincent are nobles because of how they talk and behave. Other than that though he has no clue and he'll assume any human who's uncomfortable with the missions is most likely a noble who had no say in the matter because as far as he knows most commoners want to be here. So yeah, he's so gonna mistake some people for nobles. And of course he's also gonna mistake some nobles for commoners xD )

Imrie-Forest-Callan,Bandit Bashers Imrie looked at him. "I doubt he would last long," she said. "Look how long we all last with this guy. Only one that seems fine with him is Luca...and it's Luca so that doesn't say much." She shrugged at his next statement. "Just threaten them if they do hound you about it, or say you are sworn to some secrecy thing. Though I will admit I'm curious how she did that as well. I wonder if there is anyone that could teach something like that." She was uncertain if she would do something like that, but it did seem at least interesting to learn how to use magic in other ways. "I'm sure you could easily sneak to the library before your classmates get a hold of you though, should be around dinner time when we get back, so most might be eating."
remembering that is what neasons final class is going to be, wonder hwat callans reaction will be that his idiot leader figured out how to magic his arrows, while he probably cant with his sword if you choose not to hav ehim figure it out, and you will be correct Callan, Searc would probably last 5 minutes, before you have an impaled ambrose, he already puts up with two(three when he sees callans skill) idiots, he will not tolerate another)
Ambrose-Forest-Bandit Bashers Ambrose led the students back for the monastery. He had a few choice words for the others, mostly towards Aeschylus, how did that idiot miss so much. He hummed as he walked, with a bright grin on his face, keeping up appearances. "We should do this again sometime, us Bandit Bashers should stick together no?" The man still seemed oblivious to the disdain most of the students in the group had towards him, and if he did notice he didn't seem to pay attention to that fact.
Searc-Traing Grounds-Konstantin Searc managed to block the first attack, and just barely managed to block the faster attack, having to take a few steps back in order to be able to maneuver his weapon enough to do so. Adjusting his grip and stance to go for a more defensive position, as he watched the professor start to go for the offense. He gripped a little tighter to his weapon as he studied the professor, to see if he could read the next move he would make.
Elara-Dining Hall-Neo Elara shook her head. "I really don't like it," she said. She just didn't like the thought of taking someone's life, as it didn't sit right with her. She jumped at his comment. "We will have to kill people every month?!" That sounded horrible to her, how did the church decide that this is what they would have the students do, just run about killing people. She messed with her sleeve a bit. "My parents sent me here, because it was safer then being back home," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. She blinked in confusion at the last comment. "I'm not a noble...my house used to be in the past, but now we are just a regular commoner house. But I suppose you do have a point, I'll still be taking over the family house when I go back..." If I make it that long. She thought.
how does he feel about neason, that kid dont act like a noble at all...like not even once since hes been at the academy, but i love that XD, just imagine him thinking some high ranking noble is a lowley commoner, and makes sense with his reasoning though, as noble kids really got no say in their life)

Luca | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
"I'm doing great! One could say I'm in awe. This team truly showed how wonderfully talented and powerful they all are today." Lujca crooned. When Ambrose spoke he perked up "We should!" he was obviously much more invested in the idea than the professor, though "I couldn't possibly keep myself away from everyone else, but I'll make a special exemption for those here. Even you." he winked to Megumi, who looked like she wanted to stab him.
Megumi | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
Agnars worry was insulting, even if it wasn't really directed towards her. She flicked off a flake of dried blood from her hand and tried her best not to commit manslaughter when Luca winked at her. Honestly, she could probably get along with those students who disliked the flirtatious dancer, if they weren't humans that is. Unfortunately the other beastkin she'd met didn't seem too bothered by him and wouldn't make good 'verbally insult annoying students' buddies. Since they seemed to be done she moved to leave, wanting to take a shower and get something to eat.

Callan | Forest -> Entrance Hall | Imrie, Bandit Bashers
"He really wouldn't," he confirmed. "Makes it all the more likely for an 'accident' to occur with him on the team though." He then briefly glanced at Luca when Imrie mentioned him and nodded. The dancer really seemed to be the only one here who didn't mind Ambrose's... unique way of leading them. And while he didn't dislike Luca he had to agree with Imrie's statement. As for her suggestion however he wasn't too sure. He didn't really want to lie to his classmates and he definitely couldn't threaten them. Sneaking into the library before any of his classmates could find him seemed like the best option. "I think I'll try that," he said. "There are some books about combat arts so there's even a chance I can find something about it. And I'm sure a few people know enough about magic to use it with their weapons." At Agnar's question he lowered his gaze a little but nodded. "Uh, y-yeah." Not entirely true perhaps as it still made him uncomfortable enough to not want his classmates to ask him about this assignment and he'd rather avoid thinking about it altogether but he wasn't freaking out about it either so yeah, he was doing fine. "Besides, we'll probably be dealing with something like that next month for our missions. Well, now we're better prepared for it, right?" He gave a brief smile and quickly glanced at the others. Since they seemed to be doing alright after killing the bandits he certainly wouldn't say otherwise. He refused to be the only one who was still a little upset about it. Which made him all the more grateful for Ambrose's suggestion. Even if it only served to make him even more annoyed with the knight. "Sure, why not," he said with a shrug and a polite smile. A bit quieter so only Imrie could hear it he added "Wouldn't say no to a more competent knight though." He wouldn't mind going on another mission like that with the others. The group had turned out to be less scary than he had thought at first and maybe he could train or study with some of them sometimes. Maybe not Megumi since she was still too intimidating and unlike Imrie and Agnar, two students he had been a bit scared of too at first, she seemed to have no intention of being friendly with the others. But he would probably approach Luca or Imrie, either for training or just to have some company. Even if the former could be hard to deal with.
Agnar | Forest -> Entrance Hall | Luca, Bandit Bashers
With a snort and a slight smile he shook his head at Luca's answer. "If you say so." At Callan's words he nodded but gave him a brief sympathetic look. While it didn't sound too convincing he wasn't going to badger him about it. As for Megumi, he hadn't really expected her to say anything about it anyway so he wasn't surprised. He briefly looked her way but just as quickly he turned his attention back on the path again. Was she offended? He couldn't tell for sure but even if she was he had nothing to apologize for. Still, he hoped that she would at least become a little accepting of the humans here, both for her sake and that of her classmates. He didn't get to think about that for too long though as Ambrose cheerfully suggested for the group doing this again sometime. Agnar rolled his eyes at that but before he could make any remark Luca spoke up. With a sigh he followed his gaze and sure enough, the dancer was foolish enough to wink at Megumi. He was almost impressed when she didn't run up to him to beat him up or shift to her beastform to maul him. "Okay, maybe stop making her want to kill you," he whispered to Luca. "I don't think the professors want their students to murder each other."
Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Paying close attention to how Searc blocked his attacks Konstantin too half a step back before he lunged forward, aiming a bit higher for the first attack. No doubt the student would be able to block this one from his current position and while Konstantin had put quite some force into this attack it was unlikely that he would knock the weapon out of Searc's grip, he was surely strong enough to not be disarmed by this. Slightly adjusting his stance he quickly drew his weapon back and went in for another attack, first making it look like he was repeating the same move, only from the right instead of from the left but quickly drew back again and swung the lance lower, going for Searc's legs this time.
Néo | Dining Hall | Elara
"Well, maybe you get a few missions where you can resolve things without having to kill them but yeah," he said. "That's how it works here. You're not just here to train and study, you guys also go on missions to 'aid the people' and stuff. Lots of bandits and other criminals out there threatening the peace, ya know." Or in other words, just normal human stuff. Unless he himself was tasked with joining the students or the knights for a mission it was of no concern for him. But it certainly wasn't a bad feeling to know more about the way the church handled things than this human. While Néo didn't really care all that much he still had listened when one of the church members had shown him around the monastery on his first day here. "Well, I guess not every month," he then said with a shrug. "I heard there won't be any missions for the Blue Sea Moon. Everyone will be busy preparing everything for some 'Rite of Rebirth'. Pretty big deal for the church." Néo decided to leave it at that. He didn't know much about the events this place held yet and didn't want to give an incorrect explanation about them. Besides, Elara was one of the students who were born and raised in Fódlan so she most likely knew all about those religious days. No way he was gonna let her gloat about it. And even if she wasn't the kind of person who would do that he still didn't want some human kid to explain this stuff to him.
...which made it even less pleasant that Elara's quick clarification about her family situation did nothing to make him less confused about it. So she wasn't a noble but her house used to be? And they still handled some things like a noble house would? "How is an academy that sends you to fight brigands and monsters safer than your home?" he finally asked. "I mean sure, the church sends some knights to accompany you so they can intervene if it gets too dangerous but living at home still sounds safer than this. Unless your family is unfortunate enough to live on some incompetent noble's land who doesn't care about the people there." He also wanted to know how it was possible for a noble house to become commoners but by asking that he would have to let her educate him about Fódlan's political system and as curious as he was, he wouldn't stoop low enough to do that. Besides, it probably wasn't all that complicated. Maybe some commoners revolted back when Elara's family had been nobles. Or they've been stripped of their title for some transgression. Maybe that was the reason why it wasn't safe for her. They were probably disliked where they lived and while Elara had nothing to do with it the people still hated her by association.
(Don't mind him, just a Taguel kid jumping to conclusions, immediately assuming the worst, and being too proud to ask anything. Oh well, at least he doesn't share his deduction with Elara xD)

Imrie-Forest->Entrance Hall-Callan,Bandit Bashers "Sounds like a fun guy," she said. "Hope you don't get stabbed with a guy like that in your house." She looked at him as he spoke about the books in the library. "If you find them let me know please," she asked. "They sound interesting, and even if I don't end up doing it, would be good to learn about it, as there might be ways to counter against them." While she was bothered by killing the bandits, death was just a common occurrence that she learned back home, with her clan often getting into fights with others. She shook out her head and blinked as she turned her gaze back to Callan. "Well then, hopefully we can go on one together again, we worked well together." She did hope there would be other missions they could help the knights with, as long as the knight wasn't Ambrose and Luca wasn't on it, or at the very least she didn't have to deal with both at the same time.
Ambrose-Forest->Entrance Hall-Bandit Bashers Ambrose lead the way through the forest, remaining fairly upbeat. Soon the walls of the monastery came into view, as he glanced over his shoulder. "Good work, again, you guys," he said. "Im sure your professors are proud of you!" Once they reached the gates, he paused as they got opened, before continuing to the Entrance Hall, standing outside it, as he did have Opal with him after all, and it would be stupid to bring a horse into such place. "You all go in first, got to make sure you get in safely after all!"
Searc-Training Gronds-Konstantin Searc blocked the first attack, gripping tightly to the lance. When Konstantin drew back slightly, he debated trying to launch into an attack of his own, to try go back into offensive again. He got ready to do so, but at the attack he moved his lance upwards to block, but in the sudden change, and towards his blind side he was slower in efforts to block, having to retreat a bit in order to do so, but even then the lance hit its mark, knocking the boy off balance.
Elara-Dining Hall-Neo "Maybe," she murmured, if knights went with them, maybe she wouldn't have to kill anyone, and could just try play support for her classmates and the knights. She nodded to his words at the rite of rebirth, she had attended it a few times, but this would be her first getting to experience being a student while it was going on. She blinked at his next words and shook her head. "No no, the noble is very kind, and she often works to fix issues of what is going on when there are problems," she said. "It...It's just a long story why it is safer here then back home...you probably don't want to know anyways." She messed with her skirt a bit, as she thought quietly, she didn't even really know how to explain her family situation to begin with. How was one to say to others, I only got sent here because my brother wants to kill me so he can take over the house? Would anyone even understand it?

Luca | Bandit Bashers | with Bandit Bashers
"Megumi would never, she may look mad but I don't think she'd actually kill me." Luca said unwisely. Everyone else, on the other hand, figured that she probably would. How Luca hadn't died at the hands of someone he shouldn't have talked to due to his unfounded confidence was a mystery. Lucky for him, Megumi had walked off the instant they'd gotten back, only listening to about half of what Ambrose said before disappearing into the housing building. He turned to the others in the group "I will miss you all greatly, let's go on another mission together! Or train! As in, you train and I offer moral support." he nodded sagely. The last time he trained he'd gotten a mild concussion.

Callan | Entrance Hall | Imrie, Bandit Bashers"Well I guess he is a bit scary," he admitted. "I wouldn't want to get on his bad side, that's for sure. But he's incredibly skilled. He's probably super reliable in battle." At her request he nodded. "Sure! And yeah, learning of ways to counter those attacks would be useful too." Hopefully he could find something about this. While he could always ask one of the knights he didn't want to do so unless he absolutely had to. They didn't seem like they'd be easy to approach. Except maybe for Ambrose but Callan didn't expect him to know anything about that kind of magic. The only other option was asking Philomel as the professor was very experienced in both faith and reason magic. Maybe he also knew how to use it with a weapon? Callan would probably ask him if he didn't find anything in the library or had trouble understanding it. He gave a slight smile and nodded in agreement as Imrie spoke. "I hope so too. And next time we'll probably have learned new techniques and spells so we can work even more efficiently." Agnar | Entrance Hall | Bandit Bashers"I wouldn't count on that," Agnar said as Megumi walked off. "Sure, she probably won't kill you but I bet she'd give you a good beating if you grind her nerves." Though he doubted that Luca would let that discourage him. Either he really was oblivious to how some people reacted to his flirting or he was aware of the potentially violent consequences but simply didn't care. Or maybe he was just into that sort of thing. Slightly disturbed by that thought he cast the dancer a suspicious glance but then just shook his head. No, Luca was probably really just unaware of how annoyed, or just uncomfortable in Callan's case, at his antics the other Bandit Bashers were. With a good natured smile he shrugged. "I'm just saying that being cute won't save you from unpleasant consequences if you keep pushing their boundaries, that's all." When Luca addressed the rest of the group Agnar rolled his eyes but then nodded. "Yeah, I guess another mission like that wouldn't be so bad. Some issues aside," he added with a slight glare at Ambrose. Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Immediately Konstantin went in for another strike, not giving the boy even a second to try and regain his balance. Some people who sparred with each other would declare a match over right after landing the first hit and he himself did so with the less skilled among his students but from what he had seen from watching Searc's training the boy could handle it if the sparring match was a bit harsher than that. This one would end if one got knocked down or dropped their weapon and while this match was pretty much decided he wasn't going to insult his opponent by not finishing it properly.
Néo | Dining Hall | Elara
"Shame not all nobles can be like that," Néo said with a snort, thinking of what he had heard from some of those who also worked here. While they said good things about quite a few nobles there also was a lot of talk about those who either didn't care about their people or were outright cruel to them. "Oh well, guess there's some hope for you humans after all if some are that good." At her next words he shrugged." True, I guess. It's probably some complicated stuff anyways so I wouldn't even get it. You humans just threaten one another over the weirdest things, even if you're from the same country, town or even family." He shook his head and smirked a little. "Guess that explains how there are so many missions for each class every year. Sounds like humans just suck at living peacefully."

Imrie-Entrance Hall-Callan,Bandit Bashers Imrie watched as Ambrose headed off, the knight truly was oblivious to all of their disdain for him. Turning her gave briefly to Luca, looking ready to throttle the other Blue Lion student. "I agree, I wouldn't mind doing this again, as long as Ambrose isn't leading it," she said, looking at Agnar. She smiled to Callan. "I'll look forward to it then, if we worked well now, when we are even more skilled, we will be quite a force to reckon with." Stretching her arms over her head for a brief few seconds. "Well I'm heading back to the classroom to get my stuff," she said. She also might report to Konstantin on how it went if the professor was still there and asked about it.
Searc-Training Grounds-Konstantin Searc had tried to use the staff of the lance to aid in restoring his balance, that he didn't have the chance to block the next strike. Though not to say he at least didn't try to, but was unable to get the right angle in time and the last strike was enough to knock him down onto the ground, with a slight wince as the air got knocked out of him. His face burning a bit out of humiliation at making such a stupid mistake. "I'm sorry," he said, out of reflex, as he moved pushing himself back up to his feet, picking up the fallen lance as he did so.
Elara-Dining Hall-Néo Elara gave a small shrug to him. "Most nobles I've meet were decent, but some where probably saving face." She heard stories of what some nobles did behind closed doors, and while she never witnessed it, she wanted to give people benefit of the doubt till there was proof that showed otherwise. Her family had once been a noble family in the past after all, while all she heard was good things, she knew there had to be bad things as well, as no one was perfect. She flinched slightly at his next words, giving a half hearted nod. "We really do don't we. I just wished we would talk things out before resorting to violence," she murmured. She glanced to the tanguel in thought before turning her gaze towards her feet. "Hopefully not all of them will be to difficult..."

Sorry for the wait, finals are kicking my ass lakjflakjd)
Luca | Entrance Hall | with Bandit Bashers
"So what I'm hearing is that you think I'm cute." Luca grinned, completely missing the point. He spoke with such confidence at times it was hard to argue with him. Seeing that everyone was heading their own ways he stretched out and said something about going to clean off "I'm all dusty and gross." he complained "It would be a nightmare if someone saw me like this and thought this is how I looked all the time." he waved at their small group and headed out.

Callan | Entrance Hall | Imrie, Bandit BashersCallan waited for a moment and once Ambrose had finally left he glanced at Agnar and nodded. "I wouldn't mind either," he said. "But yeah, hopefully we get a competent knight next time." He briefly waved when Luca headed out too and sighed. "And I also wouldn't mind less of... well... that," he added, looking in the direction where the dancer had left. At Imrie's words he nodded. "Let's do our best then and work on our skills until our next mission!" At the mention of the classrooms he remembered he also had to grab his stuff. Before the Deer had headed off to the greenhouse they'd had a normal lesson before that. So most had left their stuff in the classroom. He would just head over and get it and, after dropping it of in his room, he would hurry over to the library. Agnar | Entrance Hall | Bandit Bashers" This is what you got from that?" Agnar suppressed a sigh but he hadn't really expected to succeed in reasoning with Luca anyway. And to be fair, he probably should have chosen his words more carefully. But even then he suspected that Luca would still not be convinced to leave some of the other students alone. "Oh well. Just be careful who you're flirting with. I think not even Lady Hera could save you from an angry mob that's out for your blood," he then said with a small grin. He, too, waved when Luca headed out, resisting the urge to jokingly threaten to run around the monastery and shout for everyone to come see the dancer. No, it would be better not to make this threat. It was best to just let him leave and not get him to get on Imrie's nerves even more. He looked over at her and Callan as they both agreed and gave a slight smile at that. "So either a different knight or just the five of us," he said. "We did pretty well without him, after all. But I guess having a knight with us is safer, even if we can handle ourselves." When the other two talked about getting their stuff from the classrooms he nodded. He was also headed that way and thought about where he would go after that. The Dining Hall was still open so he would either go there right away or after seeing Philomel or Fion. The few cuts he had gotten from the head bandit's final attack weren't anything serious and didn't even really bother him anymore but he had also been taught to get even minor stuff like this taken care of as soon as possible unless there were others with something more urgent. Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Konstantin relaxed his stance and lowered the lance to show that the fight was over. He waited until Searc was standing again before he spoke. "You could have done better and avoided that but you also don't have to apologize for it," he said. For now he wasn't going to question Searc about it though. He wasn't the first student whose first instinct was to apologize for failing at something and while there were thankfully not too many of them Konstantin had seen enough of them to know that it wasn't something one should ask about this soon, even if in some cases there was nothing wrong with their upbringing after all. "I think you can judge for yourself where you went wrong," he said instead. Searc was still experienced enough to know what he had to work on. And if it turned out that he focused his training on the wrong thing next time Konstantin saw him he would just step in and point him in the right direction. "You should focus on that for now while also not neglecting everything else. I can train with you outside of class but you also should spar with some other people as always training with the same person would limit your growth. You might want to find some students who, like Silke, are on or close to your skill level."
Néo | Dining Hall | ElaraNéo gave her a sceptical look at that but nodded, deciding to leave it at that. He didn't know enough about the nobles to say whether they were mostly good or not. From what he could tell the minor noble whose land his family lived on was pretty okay for a human. As for the other nobles in Faerghus or even the rest of Fódlan he only knew what he had heard from the staff and the knights here. But it wasn't something he would have to concern himself with anyway as he would return to Sreng once he had trained enough to travel on his own. At her next words he shook his head and chuckled. "Yeah, fat chance of that happening," he snorted. "Pretty sure you wouldn't need knights and mercenaries and stuff if all problems could be solved by talking things out." It certainly wasn't the first time he heard that sentiment and also not the first time he scoffed at it. But at least Elara was just some weak human. Her wishing for something like that was to be expected. So while it certainly didn't improve his opinion on her those words also didn't infuriate him like they would have had his father said them. "Oh well, from what I heard you'll start of with easy stuff so even you should be fine," he told her. "Some of your classmates look quite strong after all. Well, strong for a human," he added with an arrogant smile. "But hey, I heard last year a class had to solve a small dispute for one of their first missions and they succeeded without having to kill anyone. Maybe you're lucky and also get something that's not too scary for you?"
(guess we're done with most of our interactions. Ember and I will finish the interactions between Elara and Néo, and Searc and Konstantin and after that we can finally have another small timeskip ^^ We'll do the evening right before the Occult Club's first investigation, if I remember correctly. So yeah, we'll just have to finish the last few interactions and then we're ready to move on to the next subplot)

Searc-Training Grounds-Konstantin Searc tensed a bit, as he messed with the lance in his hands. Konstantin must be incredibly mad, if the man wasn't striking him. He blinked in confusion as the man spoke, but he had been to nervous to even dare speak, wanting to avoid any issues as possible. Looking to him he gave a nod when the professor finished, swallowing to be able to properly talk. "Alright...I'll keep it all in mind," he said, giving a slight bow to the professor. "I'll take my leave, if you want, sir?" With another bow, he quickly walked away, setting the lance on the rack before hurrying off for his dorm room.
Elara-Dining Hall-Neo, Ambrose Elara flinched at his words quietly, she hoped that it would be easy to start off. "Yea, alot of them are strong," she said. A majority of the house seemed that way in all honesty, and she just hoped she didn't drag them all down. Jumping at the sudden new voice, panic grew across her face as the knight leaned on her. "What?! N-no we aren't together sir!" But the kngith didn't seem to be listening to her as he continued on.
Ambrose-Dining Hall-Neo, Elara Ambrose was walking back from the stables, and planned to grab some food before he had to rush off to go and actually report to the captain about how the mission went, his gaze landing on Neo and a Black Eagles student. A smirk growing on his face a s he headed over to the pair. "Wow Neo, not even a month has gone by and you already went and got yourself a girlfriend," he asked resting his arm on Elara's shoulder. "Got to say I underestimated your capabilities. So who'd you two get together?"

Konstantin | Training Grounds | Searc
Searc's reaction became even more unsettling as the boy now seemed confused and even more nervous. Just what had he expected Konstantin to do if his words on how to improve had surprised him so much? He wanted to ask him if he was alright but that would have made Searc even more nervous, he was sure of that. So he just nodded and said "It's getting late so you should head back for today. The Training Grounds will be closed to the students soon, after all. You can still ask me or the knights to train with you during the day, of course." After also setting his lance back on the rack he quickly glanced around to see if anyone else was still training and called out to the few other students to put back their weapons and leave as soon the knights would be training here.
Néo | Dining Hall | Elara, Ambrose
"Sounds like you're lucky, then," he said. "I guess most would seem strong compared to you but yeah, they do seem like they can manage." He was definitely going to challenge some of them eventually. While he didn't expect too much of those humans he supposed it was still worth giving it a try. And if they turned out to be disappointing after all there still was Megumi, a taguel like him. That alone meant that she would be a tough opponent. He was going to make another remark about Elara when suddenly Ambrose stood next to them. Néo glared at him and briefly at Elara as he blamed her for the fact that he hadn't heard the knight approaching. Before he could snap at Ambrose and ask him what he was smirking for the man was already speaking. He didn't even have to finish before the taguel narrowed his eyes at him and his annoyed expression turned into a snarl. "The hell are you on about?! I'm not into you pathetic humans!" he snapped at him. He had one hand balled into a fist and with his other hand he briefly gestured towards Elara as he added "And I don't like wimps!" Then he took another step towards the knight, baring his teeth and tightly gripping his beaststone. "I will fu-" he was briefly cut off as he shifted into his beastform but didn't seem to notice "-ing end you!" he bellowed as he now leapt for Ambrose, trying to strike him with his claws. Instead of hitting him he just landed between the knight and Elara, completely ignoring the latter. Swearing, he spun around, ready to leap for him again and if necessary chase after him.

Ambrose-Dining Hall-Néo Shoving the girl out of the way as he jumped to avoid the now very angry rabbit "Ah come on Néo that's no way to talk about your girlfriend, you'll hurt her feelings," he said. But being unarmed at the moment the knight flashed another smirk to the enraged beastkin. "You better make sure you apologize to her, you frightened the poor thing," he said waving his hand in the direction Elara had run off in. "Gosh such a bad boyfriend you are." With that the knight took off, hoping to make it out with his life.

Alright, time for our idiots to get ready for their investigation! Two days after the bandits have been deal with the knights are back on their regular schedule. A small group of students decides that now would be the best time to explore one of the many areas of the monastery that are off-limits to them, eager to find out if that rumor they have heard really is true. An old, hidden room filled with either weapons and artifacts or ancient scrolls and tomes. After a long day of training, other classes and student tasks the four have finally met up in the library, waiting for the last hours of the day to pass. Daily special, in case some students haven't eaten yet: - Students are encouraged to eat food with students of their own house this week - Spicy Fish and Turnip Stew - Spicy stew made with Teutates loach and turnips. The monastery's unique recipe features spices from Dagda. Natalie | Cathedral | OpenNatalie was looking at the statues of the Four Saints. In the past two weeks she hadn't had much time to come here, having spent most days in the library and in her room because of something her family had asked her to look into. Now she finally had more time for herself and one of the first things she had done was visiting the cathedral. She glanced over at the statue of Saint Macuil, one of the saints she admired the most. Supposedly he had been the chief tactician of Saint Seiros but Natalie didn't care too much about that part. What fascinated her the most was that he was a master of the magical arts. She couldn't even begin to imagine what kind of power someone like that must have. Not that she was without skill herself, but it wasn't the kind of magic she wanted. She was unfortunate enough to have a gift for dark magic and while it fell under Reason she was sure that none the Saints or the Elites had ever used this form of magic. No, surely they had been skilled with black magic instead. Natalie sighed. Maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea. She turned away from Macuil's statue and turned her attention to the statue of Saint Cethleann, the other saint she admired. Looking at her was even worse as some of her family bore her crest. Not only that, Saint Cethleann was said to have been incredibly skilled with white magic. And those with her crest tended to have a hand for faith magic as well. While Natalie didn't have that crest her mother did. And she herself had been blessed with the crest of Thancrat, one of the Elites and her ancestor. While not as incredible as Saint Cethleann he had been highly skilled with faith magic as well. It was only natural that those with his crest were outstanding white mages as well and as far as she knew all her classmates, at least those with at least a basic knowledge on the Elites and the Saints, assumed that she was skilled with faith magic. This early into the year Natalie wouldn't have to put too much effort into hiding the fact that she was entirely incapable of using this kind of magic, during training she was focusing on practising her skill with a sword and it wasn't too weird for a mage to want to be good with a weapon as well. She did wonder how she was gonna hide it once the students got their missions though. As if looking for an answer she stared at Saint Cethleann's statue and a part of her resented the Goddess, Saint Seiros and the Four Saints. Why didn't they let her learn those spells despite her faith in them? (So far Elara is the only one who knows Natalie's secret, that she can only learn dark magic and is incapable of learning white magic despite being the daughter of Adrestia's Minister for Religious Affairs.)
Callan | Training Grounds | Open
Callan tightened the grip on his sword and tried to put all his focus on it. Then he cast his spell, keeping all of his attention on the weapon. At first it just looked like he was casting Miasma as he usually did, with the difference that he couldn't gather much dark energy in his hand because of the sword. Then however the spell seemed to get absorbed by the weapon and after another moment it gave of a faint dark glow. Callan didn't stop there though, getting to this part was relatively easy to him by now and it hadn't taken him long to learn this step in the first place. The next step was to channel his magic into the blade alone, not the whole sword. This was already more difficult but still manageable. He had succeeded once before so far and it looked like this would be the second time he did this step correctly. But even that wouldn't mean much because the real challenge was to actually maintain it. If he moved the sword even slightly or something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention even for the fraction of a second to connection was broken and he was left with a normal magicless sword. He knew it was difficult and would take months to master but he couldn't help letting out a frustrated sigh. So far he had done well with casting the spells correctly and from what he had read learning those first steps was something a skilled or talented mage could pick up in a very short time. It was still a little disappointing that he couldn't move his sword even a little without stopping the flow of magic. Sure, he didn't expect to get far in a few days if it was supposed to take months but he had hoped for at least a little bit of improvement.
(So yeah, he has found some book about combat arts that allow for magic-based attacks with weapons and since then he's been practising. He's also already told Imrie about his find)
Julius | Library | Rekka, Pierce, Grimm
Julius leaned back in his chair and looked over his shoulder, catching a glimpse of the open door leading into the hallway, trying to see the window. With an impatient sigh he turned back to the other three. The sun hadn't fully set yet and it was still a long time until the students were expected to go back to their dorms. It probably wasn't that long until nighttime but to him it felt like it. The day had already been long enough and now he could barely wait to finally get started. "Everyone knows where and when the knights will patrol tonight?" he asked, keeping his voice down so none of the students at the other tables could hear him. They had gone over it before so he hoped that everyone knew what places they had to avoid. Néo | Stables | Open
Néo was laying on a stack of hay, just enjoying the quiet evening while watching the horses and pegasi. Most of them had gotten used to him by now but a horse or two and some pegasi were still a bit weirded out by the taguel chilling in their stables every other evening. He couldn't really blame them, it took most animals here some time to get used to his beastform. As they weren't freaking out about it either though he didn't have to shift back to his human form. Unless one of those humans came by, that was. After his little stunt two days ago some of the knights and also some of the staff were keeping an eye on him and while they still allowed him to be in his beastform when he was by himself he had to take on his regular form when he was around students. Néo scoffed at the thought of that. Why did he have to be mindful of the students? It wasn't like he had attacked that wimpy Eagle, everyone who had seen him could tell that he had only been going after Ambrose. And the knight had gotten away relatively unscathed too so he hadn't really done anything to warrant such a dumb rule. To make things worse, that rule only applied to him and while he was glad that none of the other beastkin were punished for his actions he also didn't like how he was singled out. Stuff like this really didn't do much to improve his opinion on the humans. He grunted and glanced over at some pegasi. "I don't know how you are putting up with those weirdos," he said to them, not for the first time. "What about them makes you want to work together with them?" Not that he expected an answer, they probably didn't understand his words in the first place. It just felt good to voice his disdain for the humans to them.
(While he ended up not really hurting Ambrose I figure there should still be at least some small consequence for chasing a knight in his beastform xD anyway, I'll try to put up the rest at some other time. Occult Club stuff has priority though ^^)

Rekka | Library | with Occult Club
Rekka was twitching and looking around excitedly. This wasn't out of character for him, so it didn't seem to draw much attention. When Julius spoke he looked over to the other and nodded "Yes!" he cleared his throat and lowered his volume "Yes." he repeated. This was going to be fun! Getting into trouble back home was hard, there was nothing to do there. Here however, he not only had new friends but a whole new building and town to explore. Rekka wasn't exactly looking for trouble, but he was somewhat prone to it.
Luca | Dining Hall | Open
As fun as classes were Luca had to admit the school was at its best with the food it offered. Now, Luca was no picky. Anyone with his background didn't have the leeway to be picky. But the food here was good and he was happy to take advantage of it while he was learning here. He looked over his options before deciding on the daily special.
Megumi | Stables | with Neo
After a long day of classes, stuck in rooms alongside humans, Megumi found any excuse to leave and just be outside. Visiting the stables had proven to be a relatively easy thing to do, and if anyone asked she didn't have to worry about them getting suspicious. She wasn't exactly the most trustworthy taguel around, not that she cared what humans thought. To her surprise, she found that she wasn't the only one here. Her ears perked up and she poked her head in to see yet another Taguel "Oh." she muttered sounding more surprised than irritated.
Silke | Training Grounds | Open
To no ones surprise, Silke was spending her free time after classes training. She'd managed to stay after class a little and touch base with most of her housemates, but she was now focused fully on getting some training in. She burst into the training grounds with high energy and headed to her usual patch of land she liked to practice at.

(Are you interested in joining, kermie ? We can discuss stuff over on our planning and discussion page While we technically have enough students for each house you can totally make some more students anyway. Squires, Knights or just people who work around the monastery are also an option. As for how long the descriptions for your characters should be, just check the first page here. Some or longer than others but you don't have to make it super long. As for the rp itself, just try to avoid one-liners and you should be fine.)

(Sure, go ahead! And you can still use your other ocs too if you want, either Spark or I will throw one of our characters at them or not. I still intend on putting up some more starters even if no one interacts with them, just so I know where everyone is ^^)
