Her eyes are a glimmering green. >> Let's just say many cats worry about what's going on inside their leader's head. Sandstar has led a long life, slowly but surely losing any thought to how others perceive them and doing whatever they please. They have a jovial spirit about them but says incredibly strange things sometimes, taking joy in the ridiculous and absurd. Sandstar's only wish is to perish at the hands of the ocean, whom they worship.

Littlepaw gentle || quiet and unassuming || violent she/her || 12 moons || Coralclan Medicine Cat Apprentice >> Littlepaw is a little cat with a poofy pelt, so it's common for cats to assume she's fresh out of the nursery. Her pelt is dark, dark enough to blend into the shadows, though under sunlight it gleams a faint dark violet. She has a patch of white on her muzzle and on her front paws. Her short tail ends in stubby round fins, gleaming an ebony black. Her eyes are a calm blue. >> She is a soft-spoken cat, with gentleness to her that puts cats at ease. She does not smile, but her gaze is soft and she gets the job done. Usually, that is. But Littlepaw does not know how to manage her negative emotions well, and when she gets frustrated she tends to lash out violently. Rocks and coral and the seabed tend to receive the brunt of her silent rage. Littlepaw, though she'd never admit it, just wants to be heard. >> Littlepaw had a tumultuous childhood, with a mother who couldn't stand her cries and a father who would constantly fight and bicker with her mother. It was loud in the nursery, and Littlepaw learned to keep quiet to avoid directing her parents' anger at her. She has a mother and father (open!) and is siblings with Spottedtide. >> Her Item is a small conch she wears around her neck. It permits her to release sound waves that frightens predators and smash through rock. She can also use these sound waves as echolocation to find her way through the dark, which aids her in finding medicine. These can be very dangerous though, for if she were to scream too loud she can cause horrific destruction. Littlepaw enjoys working her claws into coral and making small trinkets. >> Quietcreek is a few polyps short of a coral bed, some whisper. Their stories don't make sense, and Quietcreek will wander around in a dream-like state, with their memories crumbling in their head. Still, when they're lucid they're quick as a whip with wildly creative stories to tell. However, they lack any form of tact and will be very blunt and direct with their words.
>> Quietcreek used to be the Shoreclan head medicine cat, at least until they lost themselves in the Forbidden Caves during high tide and somehow survived, blubbering about monsters and shadows. Due to their mental state and old age, Quietcreek has retired to the elder's den, a presence for current medicine cats to come to for advice and comfort.
>> Quietcreek likes to tell stories, especially to kits. They have grown to fear the dark. Oh and snakes. Snakes are nasty. She has a strong jaw, scars etched along her face, and eyes of a chilly blue. >> Egretcall has always been a temperamental cat, stubborn and keen on the idea that she's found the right way to do everything. She often takes on the work herself, as she often grows frustrated when watching cats do things slower or less efficiently. Of course, this means she is a very reliable and dependable warrior, though her teamwork skills are left to be desired. When her kits were taken, Egretcall has doubled down on her stubbornness and need for perfection, believing that only she knows what's best while silently blaming herself. >> As some Coralclan mothers do, Egretcall would sometimes bring her kits up to the surface with her so that they could glance at the sky and sun. One day, however, during one of these ventures, a coastal raptor stole all but one of her kits. Now paranoid, Egretcall blames the surface for her lost kits and is now fiercely protective over her remaining kit (open!). >> Egretcall's magic lines in a solid rock. Not the prettiest, but Egretcall was drawn to the reliable weight and the tiny glints of metal lined along its face. Upon activating it, Egretcall becomes immovable and impenetrable, solidly planted onto whatever surface she is on. Unfortunately in this state, she lacks flexibility, and takes a solid several minutes to unglue herself. Egretcall used to enjoy hunting down crabs, if only to watch them do their funny little dance. She is terrified of losing the ones she loves - worse, she is terrified of being the reason for their deaths. |

>> Cloudleap is a bulky she-cat with a thick frame and large paws. She has a thick furred, mostly white pelt graced with patches of pale gray. Her eyes are a minty green and her tail is only half the size of an average feline's, a feature she'd been born with. >> Cloudleap is dedicated and fair, she cares for her clan and will provide for them until the end. She can be rather strict, following the code perfectly and she believes in punishment for those who do not. She has high expectations for others and will push them to be their best, often giving criticism and forgetting to complement. She is friendly, although she tends to keep her relationships professional and finds it hard to relax and just enjoy someone's presence. She's all work and no play. When she's particularly stressed she can get snappy, although she is usually able to keep her cool. She can be viewed as quite cold and serious. She has high ambition, not specifically for herself, but for ShoreClan. She wants them to be well-known, feared, and respected, so she works hard for herself and her clanmates to do their best. >> Born in the clan, open to family. >> Does hunting or patrolling qualify as a hobby? >> Long-legged and agile, Bearpaw has a thin but athletic build. Muscles are clearly defined under his smoky black pelt, thanks to the many moons of climbing. His eyes are amber and he has white markings on his toes. >> Bearpaw has a big ego. He is cocky and boastful, unafraid to show others just how awesome he is. What's frustrating is that he is a skilled cat - he is quite a good hunter, not the best of course but noticeably talented. He is determined and adventurous - he always needs to be doing something exciting or he'll get bored, so he often volunteers for patrols and hunting parties, although he likes to have fun while he does his tasks. He doesn't really let anything stop him when he wants to do something. He's brave and even if he's scared of something he'll probably suck it up and face it anyway. He has a superiority complex but anyone can tell he lives for his clan. He is loyal and dedicated to his clanmates and even if he acts like he doesn't care that much he has a huge heart. He gets jealous easily, because obviously he's the main character, and he can get quite petty when things don't go his way. He has ambition to become the best warrior in the clan and hopefully leader one day. >> Bearpaw was born in the clan, open to family. >> Bearpaw likes stargazing and walks at night, he thinks it's peaceful. He doesn't like to share his fears but he's afraid of the deep sea. He doesn't mind getting wet and he doesn't mind swimming, it's just things in the ocean scares him because it's so unknown and seems to go on forever.

>> Spottedpaw has a slender and graceful form, with long legs and small, delicate paws. She has long fur, with soft gray and cream colors mottled together in a diluted tortoiseshell pattern. She has blue eyes. The scales along her tail and her fins are a mixture of pastel pink and cyan colors. >> Spottedpaw always seems to have a calm demeaner - she rarely gets excited or riled up over things. She knows how to control her emotions and process her thoughts before acting upon them. She is charming, helpful, and kind. At least, that's how she portrays herself. From a young age she has learned to hide her true feelings and intentions and put on a mask that others want to see. Everything she does is only done if she feels it will be beneficial to herself, so nothing is truly done out of pure kindness. She will never act out of line but she has an air of confidence, like everywhere she goes she knows she's better than everyone. It could be described as a sort of snobby entitlement. She avoids direct conflicts, but she can be rather passive aggressive and manipulative. Spottedpaw is a bit of a perfectionist and likes to be in control, for things to be done in specific ways and always organized. Perhaps growing up in chaos left her with a desire for routine and security. >> Spottedpaw's littermate is Littlepaw (open to more siblings) and her mother and father are open for claim. In the nursery her mother was a distant queen and her father was often bickering. As a kit she quickly learned that to avoid her parents' anger she needed to be quiet and well-behaved. She taught herself to be a model daughter, docile and obedient. As an apprentice she did what she was told and worked hard to perfect the skills of a warrior, doing her best to earn the respect of her elders. >> Spottedpaw's one item is a fish bone. She is rather disappointed that her item wasn't prettier, but it was what she was drawn to during her first half moon as an apprentice. She has the bone pierced through her left ear. The bone grants her the power of teleportation, with the condition that she has to be looking at the spot she is teleporting to. This mostly allows her to go short distances, where there are no obstacles blocking her sight.

His eyes are bright green and the scales of his tail is a mixture of mottled green colors. >> Kelpsplash is a rather childish cat. Carefree and playful, he is a friendly tom who tries to be friends with all. He doesn't view others as less than or higher than him, he just sees everyone equally. Even the leader, he'll speak to them like a best friend rather than a superior. Outsiders or cats from the surface? They're the same. Everyone deserves the same treatment, although he can be far too trusting of others. He is also a very affectionate and touchy tom, which some don't like as he doesn't mind invading personal space. He doesn't like arguments or fighting and would much rather solve things peacefully. One thing he hates is bullying or unfairness and he will always stand up for someone if they're not being treated right. He follows orders and performs his duties but he is a bit lazy and often gets away with doing the minimum, as he would rather be socializing than working. He does, however, love doing things for other people. He is excitable and eager, with a seemingly unending energy. It's hard for him to be serious sometimes as he will hide his problems behind humor. He wants everyone to get along, have fun, and be nice. >> Kelpsplash was born in the clan, open to family. >> His item is a piece of coral that he has tied around his tail, which gives his body the ability to generate it's own energy without food. This means he will never starve if the clan is low on prey and he can give his shares to his clanmates. His power makes him unable to stomach anything and he will throw up anything he tries to swallow, even herbs, which can be bad if he ever becomes injured or sick.

>> Lavenderkit is a small tom, the runt of his litter. His fluffy fur is a pale cream color with white paws and unders and faint tabby markings. He shares the blue eyes of his mother but they're a slightly softer shade than her icy gaze. The pattern on his tail and fins are similar to that of his pelt, pale cream and silvery-white. >> Lavernderkit is a sweet boy. He is a people pleasure and will do anything someone asks of him. He's scared of getting punished so he does his best to do everything right, getting upset when he messes up, but he'll always do his best to keep a happy attitude and smile. He wants to be friends with anybody and doesn't hold grudges, always giving others the benefit of the doubt and endless second chances. Someone could literally stab him and he'll apologize. He's very dependent on others and hates being alone, his desire for interaction and approval causing him to come off as clingy at times. He doesn't care for the warrior code or rules as much when it comes to pleasing his friends, they'll come first before any law he's meant to follow. If his friend says come do something he'll do it, even if it's forbidden. He's scared of a lot of things and is kind of dreading becoming an apprentice because he'll have to go face lots of new things. >> Lavenderkit is the only remaining kit of Egretcall's litter. His littermates were all killed by a raptor during a trip to the surface. He used to love trips to the surface with his mother but since that incident he's been terrified of it. >> He has no magic yet as he has not searched for his one item. He enjoys trinkets and pretty things and may start collecting them. He's scared of a lot of things, particularly the surface due to all the horrible things his mother says ab0ut it.

>> A sandy yellow colored tom, with green eyes, he has a pink nose, with a white muzzle. He is small for his age.
>> Cedarsong is a hard working tom, often almost working himself to the bone. He likes to help his clanmates not wanting any cat to die. He does have the habit of blaming himself to much, especially when he fails to treat a cat, going as far as questioning his skills as a medicine cat. He does enjoy learning new things, even at his age, and often doesn't let it go till he has learned everything possible. He is curious about everything around him so its not uncommon to find him studying something.

>> His brother is Volethron. When he was a kit he never thought of being a medicine cat, but did enjoy going in and helping them out from time to time. When he was first made an apprentice he choose to be a warrior's apprentice. But he began to develop feelings toward his best friend, Oakpaw, and the tom changed to being a medicine cat opening not being around him would make them go away. But it didn't, as he would end up treating Oakpaw a lot. He was disappointed when he heard the tom took on a mate. He had helped the queen with her birth, but she ended up dying shortly after. His friend blamed him for it, accusing him of letting the she cat die. Things are now strained between him and his friend.
>> Cedarsong's hobbies involved a lot of learning and studying in his free time. He enjoys working up new methods up healing. He currently has an interest in the magic of the Coralclan. He has a fear of thunder.

>> Volethorn is a quiet and reclusive tom, preferring to be on his own than around his clanmates. It is rare to see him interacting with others, the main cat he talks to being his own brother. He always seems to have messy fur, despite grooming it, the fur ends up becoming messy again. He is antisocial and avoids conversing unless he feels a desire to. He has a desire to be close to someone, but he is to nervous to make the effort.

>> Cedarsong is his brother. Volethorn was quite different as a kit. He would play with the other kits and talk to his clanmates. But when his brother switched the the path of a medicine cat, he began to grow more quiet and reserved. He had been close to his brother and was hurt that Cedarsong(paw at the time), hadn't even said anything to him about it. But he accepted it when he was told why he switched. He is still close with his brother, but he isn't able to talk as much to him as Cedarsong is either busy with medicine cat work or off learning abut things. He is open to mate/crushes. he is demisexual.
>> Volethorn enjoys walking on the beach, finding the scenery and sounds peaceful. He also enjoys watching the birds, when he isn't hunting. Volethorn has a fear of getting close to others.

>> Ivyfern is a loyal clan cat, to both clan mates but to the clan itself. She follows her leader's orders with out much thought to it, as she has complete trust in her. She is too trusting for her own good however. She often will be wanting to help any cat that needs it. She will trust most cats she meets when she knows their name, and this can lead to trouble especially with outsiders that she ends up trusting. She has a desire to see what lies beyond the clan, curious to see the land away from the water. But her heart resides with her clan, so she doesn't know if she has the courage to leave.

>> She is open to family/mate/crushes, she is heterosexual. Ivyfern is a clan born cat through and through. Even as a kit she was determined to try and learn things from the apprentices, only a few would actually teach her things though, and even then it was just tips for hunting. When she was an apprentice she worked hard to try and keep up with her mentor's teachings. She had helped a friend of hers leave the clan, the cat not feeling like they were up for clan life. She helped them get to where twolegs would park their water monsters. She watched her friend be taken before heading back for the clan. This caused her to get in trouble and she had been condemned to the camp for a moon, causing her to have to spend an extra moon as an apprentice.
>> Ivyfern's hobbies include looking at the shells, she loves the colors of them and the way the reflect light at times. She holds a fear of the water however, not liking how unpredictable it can be, so she tries to keep out of the water as much as possible.

>> Jaggedstep is an energetic tom, often up for any kind of training or patrol. He has a short attention span so he tends to forget things easily, especially while hunting, making him a poor hunter. He is friendly with his clanmates, often trying to get along with everyone, not wanting to have to deal with having an enemy. He has a desire to become a mentor. Feeling that having an apprentice would help him get his mind on track. But part of him fears that he will forget about training his apprentice due to his forgetful nature.

>> He is open to family/mate/crushes, he is heterosexual. Jaggedstep was a kit of a rogue that was taken in after his mother ended up dying after being attacked by a coyote. He was originally called Heron, but his name was changed when he was adopted by a Shoreclan queen. Due to his forgetful nature he had forgotten his own name, which was why the queen had named him Jaggedkit, after the way is fur was patterned.
>> Jaggedstep doesn't have any hobbies as he often loses interest easily in them. He holds a small fear over his forgetfulness. Coralclan-4/4 done, Coralclan names Ebony, Mackarel, Tetra, Snake Ebonywish

>> Ebonywish is an affectionate and dotting she cat. She adores giving affection to her family and friends, platonically. She loves to help the younger cats of the clans with anything they might need, be it just someone to help them go over training or talk to when they feel they can't go to anyone else. She is overprotective however, more so since the lost of her mate. Often helicopter parenting her kits. She desires to be able to see her kits grow up strong, and despite wanting to remain loyal to Reeffrost she isn't against looking for someone new.

>> Mother to Mackarelkit, Snakekit, and Tetrakit. Other family is open. She lost her mate to a monster from the trench. She was born and raised in the clan. When she was an apprentice she meet Reefpaw, the two got along well and would often hang out together outside of training. She was delighted when Reeffrost asked her to be his mate. And soon they were expecting kits together, which further added to Ebonywish's joy. But then Reefrost died before getting to meet his kits, after getting killed by a trench monster. Ebonywish was devastated when she heard of his demise, and almost didn't survive her own kitting, but she managed to pull through after the encouragement from the medicine cat. She will be open to a potential mate/crushes when she is out of the nursery.
>> Ebonywish has the power to have her fins illuminate in the dark. Her power comes from a small sea snail shell she wears around her right paw. She holds a fear of the trench and it's monsters.

>> Mackarelkit is a fun loving and adventurous tom. He loves to go out and explore the camp. he often tries to sneak out to get to go into the ocean. he doesn't get why he isn't allowed out into the water beyond the camp. He dislikes his mother's helicopter parenting and is often trying to sneak off to get out of her sight. He often acts on impulse and doesn't normally think things through which is what causes alot of trouble for him and for whoever he is with. He has a desire to be able to ride on a sea turtle's back.

>> Mother is Ebonywish and father is Reefrost(deceased). His littermates are Snakekit and Tetrakit. He is a clan born tom. He is questioning.
>> Mackarelkit has the magic to be able to manipulate the water to help him go faster through it, making him quite nimble in it. He wears a pink shell around his right leg. He has a hobby of observing the life of the water, his favorite watching is sea turtles. He has a fear of getting lot, despite his adventurous desire to explore, he is scared that when he does he will go to far and won't be able to find his way home.

Puffinkit thinks very highly of herself, and has a decent business sense. They have more than once convinced an older cat to do something for them. Eelsting sports a scar over one eye. >> Most consider him a rather eccentric individual with a mischievous streak. He enjoys provoking a reaction from others, often through the use of a small electric shock. When cats ignore him he becomes despondent, even though his general appearance and personality don't encourage interaction with him. He's somewhat obsessed with his ability, refusing to really put time into other battle or hunting tactics. Though in desperate situations he quick to drop his act and isn't above asking others for help. Because of this he is also quite hospitable. Although he is capable enough, he does not fare well under pressure and performs poorly when other cats are watching or around him. Axolotlpaw is very cautious, and can often be seen muttering to himself in an attempt to hype himself up to do things he may not want to. He wants to get stronger and start relying on his own abilities more. >> His mother was quite sickly and died soon after his birth. He is gay. >> Regeneration granted by a sand dollar. This ability can only be used once a day, and it tires him out greatly. If the injury was something bigger, it will put his ability out of use for longer and he will need more rest. Axolotlpaw enjoyed stargazing and floating idly on the surface of the water. Other than that, he likes to spend his time in safe spaces. The timid tom fears just about anything shocking or mildly surprising. He especially dislikes large dangerous animals.

To anyone but the victim(s), it almost sounds like she is squeaking like an otter, but to her target(s) it's a high-pitched whining that interacts with the nerves in their head. The more targets, or the more damage she does, the more it affects her vocal chords. Often, if she's used it recently, she'll sound hoarse and tired when she speaks while she recovers. So far, she can only affect up to three cats at once. Otterheart can often be found exploring the area around the camp, especially in reefs and small ravines. awesome ember! though remember that kits don't have their items yet, they'll find their magical items once they become apprentices during the apprentice search; let's say that these are their future items, but they don't have them yet!
edit: and i probably will ask you to think of hobbies, fears, and desires for your kits, even if they're still developing they'll be leaning towards something! like maybe tetrakit's interests do lie in being the best hide-and-seeker of all time, or maybe one of the kits have a fascination with turtles.
no prob, renaissance! i'm mainly going off of the vague warrior ages i find on wikis lol, though it does make sense to me for cats to become warriors at 1 year and 6 months, when they're at more adult maturity

hey there! and yes, outsiders are absolutely welcomed! i was thinking of making a young loner who hangs out by the shipwreck just now lol
for coralclan, i'd say outsiders wouldn't have a magic item because they don't go through the Pool of Miracles, but hey if an outsider found a magic glowing rock on the ocean floor who knows what would happen am i right
outsiders can basically do anything they want, if they want to steal food from the clans 'cause they're hungry, if they want to try and take over a clan, if they're just there to flirt with clan cats, that is also rad!
