It is sometimes. Just today, I fell asleep at 3.30am and woke up at like 9.50am. I was wide awake...
I should try it. It sounds nice. My sister likes Chai, but even though I tried it, I didn't like it so much.

I guess. It's been a while, but there was one time I was up for 3 days.
xD i wouldn't have tried it if my sister didn't go on about how it was really nice and that I should give it a try. She also tried to get me to drink coffee, but I really hate the taste. It's just disgusting, honestly. Back in school when I did a cooking class, we had to learn how to make barista-style coffee, and then drink it after it was made. *shudder* I still remember giving my coffee away because I couldn't stomach it. I did a good job, got the taste right, and got a good mark for it, but it's just that coffee is a drink that doesn't agree with me...

Yeah, I'm currently majoring in building construction management. I figured some experience in the field would help me get a leg up on the other people when I graduate, plus I could probably get a job with that company.

It's a rebirth story set in a parallel world. Synopsis:
Set in a parallel universe, where the Earth is made up of kingdoms named after the different continents of the world, there lived a young princess in the Kingdom of Australia named Adira.
Adira is the only female in her cruel family, the youngest of 10 siblings, and the only child from the king's fifth wife.
To gain the throne, one must be the only sibling left alive...if you were male. Females were like chattel, to be sold to create alliances between kingdoms.
Having lived her life once already, Adira returns to when she was 10, and this time, she wants to make a change. She will become Queen.

Relatively long. Since it's a webnovel, I was thinking of setting up arcs. Even when I plan things, it never really goes to plan, so I'm winging how much I can type at a time, and I have a very sparse plot that has plenty of room to shape it as I go.

Ah, I got you. The same thing happened to Christopher paolini, the author of Eragon. He originally had his story in mind, then ended up broadening everything so much that he had to write a fourth book to prevent his third from being over 2000 pages.
What aspects of technology and/or magic do they have?

It's basically the same technology as what we have now, just set in 2014, and each person has one innate magic talent like ice magic, or the ability to know when someone lies, though there are broader magics like alarms and barriers that anyone can learn.

So what happens if someone from family A who's power, for example, is controlling ice, had a kid with someone from family B whose power is determining if someone is lying. What power does that kid have? Is it a 50/50 or is it always the father or mother's side? |
