Cherryfrost took a deep breath, something she found herself doing more often now that things between the clans were strained. They have always been strained, thats not new, but what worried her after seeing how Moonstar reacted to them asking for help while they traveled made her anxious for how Moonstar was going to respond by an apprentice Medicine cat asking her to work with Gladeclan. She hoped that the omen and its death would carry enough weight on its own and would make Moonstar lean to mental sound reasoning, but she couldn't be to sure. What ever was dug into her skin was boring worse than a tick behind the ears.
As she lead the strong apprentice to the leaders den, she called out for Eaglestar who had been chatting with his mate, something he always did after Featherblossom left, to see how the other queens fared once she left. As the three of them sat in the den, the silence from Eagelstar felt heavy. So heavy she could almost feel against her pelt.  โบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอ Eagelstar // Pebblepaw & CherryfrostEaglestar sat in his den, his tail wrapped tightly around his paws. They have had many moons of peace since he had become leader, so that was great, but this omen that Pebblepaw had spoken of made his head spin in worry. None of it made sense to him, and what worried him even more is that the Medicine cat did not get the omen, her apprentice did. Eaglestar did not look at Pebblepaw any less than he would Cherry, but he would be lying if he said there wasn't a fear that other cats in Gladeclan, as well as cats from Willowclan who would refuse to believe the apprentice.
"What Starclan has seen, is not something we have the power to change on our own. We are going to have to trust them fully or this will be a disaster." He mewed tightly. "Now I am wondering if we need to meet with Moonstar before the gathering to warn her...." He thought out loud. "Did Starclan say to share it urgently?" He asked, looking directly at Pebblepaw. Eaglestar had been blissfully unaware of the issues with Moonstar and her clan due to the Sunning rocks situation, and honestly couldn't understand why Splashfury was so rude to the Medicine cat, but he assumed it was just Darkfire being Darkfire that caused that issue.  โบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอ Frostpuddle // DarkfireFrostpuddle felt her fur grow hot seeing Darkfire show a side of himself that was often kept hidden. She knew the tom as a gentle hearted warrior, but stern with the clan. She felt as though that distinction was necessary to guide the clan when they needed it the most, so seeing the Stern side of Darkfire had never set her off like it did most of the other cats, maybe it was because he had never been snappy with her. Having a leader who was respected and confident in what he was doing was never something to be upset about, and Darkfire would make a great leader.
"I haven't been able to visit Sunning Rocks since you won them back for us, someone has kept me busy with patrols on the other side of the territory." She mocked, giving his a side eye look. The fluffy warrior leapt over the pitiful river, landing gracefully on a rock that resided halfway into the water. As Darkfire leapt into the air to join her, she jabbed a paw in, sending the cold water spraying all over him. She let out a loud laugh, ducking away to dodge a rebuttal, but misplacing her paws. She felt her paws slip on the rock, her claws scraping loudly as she searched for a hold. Without luck, she found herself smacking into the knee deep water right on her side. She let out a loud yelp as the cold water seeped into her cream colored fur.
Frostpuddle spat out names she rarely ever used, cursing at the water for its crime of making her pelt cold, and causing her to scare all the pray from here to camp with her yelp. "How stupid was that." She grumbled, climbing out of the water. As she lifted to her to shake her body dry, her tail hit the ground, her claws out. "Darkfire." She hissed urgently. "Willowclan patrol. Looks like Moonstar and the deputy and some one else." She hissed, her ears flat. If they had come to use the Sunning rocks, they were poorly mistaken. |

"She is getting better each day, but she is still very unpredictable as far as her moods go..." Speckpaw mewed, his tail twitching uncomfortably. "I do worry with how she will manage having to stand next to Eaglestar, and before all of Gladeclan... She could hardly stand the smell of you when you came back." The little curly apprentice laid down, tucking his paws under his belly. "Do you think we will need to talk to Moonstar about it before we go?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.  โบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอ Redthorn // Moonstar"I'm here now." The words from Moonstar set his belly alive with butterflies, happiness shining in his eyes. He felt he lost his best friend when she lost a life, and having to live with how she spoke to him but still having to be by her side as her deputy was one of the hardest things he had ever had to do before. As the group left the camp, making their way through the forest, Moonstar mentioned the Sunning Rocks. He felt uneasiness stir in his belly. He had asked patrols to avoid that area specially to avoid anymore confrontation with Gladeclan while Moonstar recovered. He knew deep down that one day the area would home another battle, but he silently hoped Moonstar wouldn't be on that patrol when it happened.
Reluctantly he lowered his head in submission. "We should go see the border there." He mewed low and quiet. "We have avoided the area until the warriors recovered from their wounds completely. I was trying to avoid another tussle." He mewed to his leader, his companion. With large heavy paws, he turned the patrol into the direction of the rocks. He waited for a rebuke from his leader about with holding the patrols over there, but before she could form a full sentence, the strong, earthy scent of Gladeclan slapped him in the face, and it was fresh... to fresh. The large deputy flattened his ears and lowered down to ground. Looking through the thick ferns he spotted the unnaturally large tom who took Moonstars life, causing her to spiral. Fear filled the air almost immediately. "Moonstar...." He hissed, looking over at her. |

There was a moment of silence as Eaglestar questioned out loud if the group should go and speak with the Willowclan leader. That moment was taken with large wide blue eyes scanning the rocky walls of the leader's den. He couldn't help but flash back to the crazed look in Moonstar's eyes when she had first seen them in the camp. How she had reacted to the Gladeclan Medicine Cat's. How she'd practically chased the pair out of Willowclan territory herself. Had it not been for Featherblossom and Speckpaw, who knows what the warriors of the clan would have done. It was clear the damage that had been done on the Sunning stones, had wounded the very core of the rival clan.
Closing his eyes for a brief moment, the young medicine cat apprentice let his mind tick with a solution to this. While Starclan hadn't stated it was urgent to solve this issue, it had seemed urgent that the clans come together. They could only solve this as one. As equals. Not separated and as enemies. But how would they come together long enough to solve the mystery that Starclan had promised was coming their way, if they couldn't come eye to eye.?
"While it seems this is an urgent prophecy, I don't know when this will happen and to invade Moonstar's space before the gathering, seems like a bad idea." Pebblepaw held his breath for a moment before looking over to his mentor with a question in his eyes. He was doubtful to his own decision. "Though, it seems worrisome to leave her in the dark and then bombard her at the gathering. The gathering is tomorrow. We would need to decide quickly."

With- Frostpuddle -Willowclan patrol.
A snort of laughter escaped Darkfire as the cream and white molly slipped into the water. Giving her a last splash over her back, he jumped to the bank and watched as she climbed out, fur clinging to her. As she shook it out and the pair moved out of the forest to the large stones along the riverbank, a whiff of Willowclan brushed his nose in the breeze. Slinking forward with Frostpuddle, he spotted the red shape of Redthorn and the brown and gray shape of Moonstar, along with Sagefur and Nightfeather. The pair was definitely outnumbered by the patrol and they were coming right along the border edge.
A flick and a low warning hiss from the molly next to him caused him to pull himself up fully, making himself clear for the Willowclan patrol to see him. Dark green eyes narrowed as he watched them slip into the water and cross to the other side of their territory. It took a moment for them to realize the Gladeclan warriors were at the rocks. Within heartbeats, Darkfire's eyes met Moonstar's and the pair stood rigid. Fluffing out his fur and flattening his ears, he gave a warning growl. Keeping his tail to touch Frostpuddle's side, he ordered her to stay in place, "They will move on. This is our territory now." Stepping up to the border, he spoke aggressively towards the Leader and Deputy ,"This is Gladeclan territory now. That's close enough to the border."

Location-Medicine Cats Den

Up until now, Featherblossom had been sure about almost everything in her clan. Every decision, Every path. Everything that had happened between the two clans. Yet, this last battle. She'd never seen such a wounded clan. Her own leader was scarred from this. And now they needed to pull their leader aside and make sure she was ready for this gathering. A heavy sigh washed over the white, black and silver molly and she moved to the entrance of her den, staring out into the camp. Her eyes gazed sadly around are her clanmates that still appeared scattered across the camp. Yet, soon moved to their dens as a heavy drizzle dropped from the sky. Sitting down and wrapping her tail around all her paws, Featherblossom gazed at the sky. "We will speak with Moonstar. If she is not well enough for this gathering, we must stop her from taking the clan. Eaglestar and Gladeclan can not see her this way. I'm only hoping her head is starting to clear."

While she wished they could just turn and go back to the camp as the stench of Gladeclan filled her senses, Moonstar knew they needed to keep going. Taking a deep breath, she kept her gaze straight ahead, not looking to the Sunningstones. Slipping into the water, she led her clan to the other side of their territory that bordered the large rocks. As the got closer, the awful stench of the rival clan grew. Looking up with narrowed eyes, her green eyes met the darker colored ones of Darkfire as the black and orange tom stepped up to the border-line. His growl filled her ears and stopped her in her tracks. Flicking her tail to her patrol, she couldn't help but notice that it was only the two Gladeclan warriors. Taking another step forward to meet Darkfire at the border, she kept her calm, though her heart about burst from her chest ,"Darkfire. While you have no respect for boundaries, Willowclan does." A warning growl pooled from her maw as she addressed the deputy ,"You may have Sunningstones right now. But be warned. To you and all of Gladeclan. You started a war, Darkfire. These stones will be ours again. You better warn Eaglestar that we are ready and this is not the last of us." Turning away without another word, she worked along the border, making a point to leave her scent marked along the border line. She watched as her warriors did the same, hoping they would keep quiet and follow her lead ,"Redthorn, come. Let's get back to camp. We will see Gladeclan soon enough."

.( I apologize for my disappearance. I went to visit a friend on the other side of the state and then left to go house sit for my aunt, but on the way to my aunts, my car stopped working- my alternator died and I had to get a new one and pray my uncle was able to fix it.
It was a whole mess. But my car is fixed and Iโll be headed home tomorrow hopefully. Iโm terrified of driving that car right now because I donโt want it to die on me againโฆ.) |

Each time the prophecy was spoken by Pebblepaw, the more confused she got, the heavier her heart got. How did Starclan think it was good for such a young apprentice to handle something so heavy. She sat patiently as Eaglestar and Pebblepaw pondered on what path to take as far as trying to tell Moonstar. Finally, the Medicine Cat decided to speak up. "The gathering is only mere hours away. I don't think anything can happen before then, and seeing the state of Moonstar and her warriors as we came back from meeting with Starclan, I don't think she nor her clan are in the right state of mind to receive this news. It may be best for everyone involved to wait until we are under the protection of Starclan to share the news. Nothing bad could possibly happen before then...." She mewed, hoping the two would agree.

With how hostile some of his clan was with Willowclans medicine cat, he shuffled his feet uncomfortably. "it seems worrisome to leave her in the dark" "Yes, it is a little distasteful to do so, but from the whispers of her clan, se has been in the dark since we won the sunning stones." He chose his words carefully, not wanting to pin the leader down with weakness in the ears of his Medicine cats. "I think it may be best to wait until the gathering, and if Starclan wills it, maye I could speak with her before the gathering starts. " The large leader looked at Pebblepaw and then back at Cherryfrost, hoping they would agree. โบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอโบห*โขฬฉฬฉอโฉโขฬฉฬฉอ*หโบโงอ Frostpuddle // DarkfireFrostpuddle flattened her ears and the Willowclan cats stepped whiskers away from her clans territory, from the territory where Darkfire fought to win for Gladeclan. She was careful to watch Darkfire out of the corner of her eye to see if he was going to retaliate, but the tom stood his ground and let out a warning. She found herself slightly disappointed that that was all it came too. It had honestly been so long since she had left the camp and had a good fight. She didnt even have an apprentice to train, so her days were quite boring, being filled with mindless hunting parties, border patrols and grooming of the elders.
Once the Willowclan cats turn aside and left the area, Frostpuddle sat on her hind legs and let out a huff. "I dont like that red tom. He gives me an icky feeling." She mewed, not caring if they were out of ear shot yet. She looked up at Darkfire, her eyes locking with his once again, filling her belly with flutters.

Redthorn glared at the two cats across the border, he failed to realize how close they even were. "Maybe you should remark these borders, can barely even tell they are here..." He mewed to Darkfire. Glancing at his leader, the large tom sprayed a part of the border as a threat to Gladeclan. He flattened his ears and turned away with Moonstar and the warriors with them hissed insults.
"What do you think a she-cat like that is doing with Darkfire...." He whispered, thinking of how sweet and innocent Frostpuddle looked standing next to the large, scar marked warrior. He paused and waved on the two warriors. "When you get back to camp, gather a few warriors and their apprentices to remark our borders before the gathering. We don't need Gladeclan thinking they can slither right in and take whatever they want." Stopping briefly and tapping Moonstar on the shoulder, he licked her ear. "you handled that beautifully." He whispered, licking her between her eyes. |

Hey Brindle. I hope you donโt mind. But Iโm going to take this that we created and make some kind of RP. A jump in one with our characters or something. I will give you credit as well. We worked hard on this and these characters. And itโd be fun to see how people would play them. Brindlebriar
