Crescentsmoke managed a small smile. "Alright," he said, with a slight nod. With that he exited the camp and waited outside for the other three, scenting the air to tell what directions other patrols went off in. "I think we would be fine if we head that way," he said flicking his ear eastward.

Hawksky-Forest-Pinesahde, BrindlepawHawksky gave a nod, he could share the sentiment, sure he and his sister and her family shared a den when they needed to rest, but it truly felt like a home sleeping in the warriors den last night. "I'm glad you had a good experience," he said to him. "Won't be long till you get to move in with the ret of the warriors though." He paused briefly catching the odd scent, and followed after Pineshade. "Keep your eye out," he said, he knew he didn't need to tell Brindlepaw that, it just came from habit from his own clan when it came to these things. Brindlepaw and Pineshade with Hawksky Brindlepaw sniffed the air when his mentor mentioned that he should be wary. "That smells like twolegs to me." He said the fur on his neck starting to bristle. He didn't catch the kit scent that was buried beneath the twoleg scent. He kept behind the two warriors wary about being near them after what happened to Phoenixclan. Pineshade perked his ears as Brindlepaw said something about twolegs. He approached the area with caution keeping an eye and ear out for any disturbances. Ember34 potatowolfanimator |

Moleshade with Silenthowl Moleshade gave a brief nod in return to Silenthowl's then turned. She looked around to see who else she might ask to join her patrol. She looked from where Wrenwillow was to Barkpaw. She turned and walked toward her apprentice. "Hey Barkpaw" she called as she approached. "Why don't you join Silenthowl and I and a couple others on patrol" she left it as a bit of a question so the apprentice could say no. Fernfeather nodded to Morningmist. "Why don't you choose someone to join us." (Not sure who else has an open character) Willowpaw watched as the others fished and talked. She tentatively stepped forward when Melonburr suggested that Brightpaw show her how to fish. She stood next to her friend and waited for him to speak. The four kits curled into their mother and slept. Repost. The only one that needs updated is Fernfeather.) |

Mistpaw rolled his eyes as Blizzardpaw slowly got up. He wasn't confident in his abilities still but at least he wasn't acting like the other apprentice was. He thought about all the things that the young apprentice would have to learn about being more active in the clan. He walked up to his mentor and nodded about heading eastward.

Crescentsmoke once his patrol was gathered outside, he flicked his tail, leading them away from the entrance. He wasn't going to commit on Blizzardpaw's laziness, but might mention it to the young cat's mentor as something to keep an eye on. He knew Silverrose, soon Silverstar when she returned, and all the others had put a lot of heart into making the clan, he didn't want to see anything bad happen to it.

Mintshade takes a breathe and exhales slowly. She could smell traces of her clanmates who had left before along with the forest smell. Sometimes, she found all the smells to be a little overwhelming.

"Does anyone have a clue what they would hope for in the territory? I'm hoping that maybe the clearing Fernfeather had found would make a good training space." He said questioning the others and hoping to make them think of what they should look put for.

Stormchaser - Camp -> Forest - TimberpawAt Timberpaw's question he nodded. "Yes. No sharptooths but I've fought foxes and badgers before," he told him. He flicked his tail and padded towards the camp's entrance. They could talk on their way to the Mossy Hollow. "One leaf-bare I encountered a lynx that was desperate for food. Probably one of the reason why I hate that season. It's also when there's a good chance you might run into a starving fox." He then slightly turned his head to look at Timberpaw. "I suppose it's different when you live in a clan. Those creatures are still dangerous of course but it's easier to drive off a fox or badger when there are other cats with you, right?" Silenthowl - Camp - with MoleshadeSilenthowl followed at first but stood back a little when Moleshade approached Barkpaw. They gave a friendly nod though, not wanting to seem unwelcoming. Brightpaw - Forest - with Melonburr, Willowpaw and Badgertooth"Oh, sure," he said, surprised that his mentor would ask this of him. Not that he minded, he just hoped that he could properly show Willowpaw how to fish. He briefly glanced at Badgertooth to see if he was okay with this and then turned to the other apprentice. "Okay, the most important thing is to always keep the position of the sun in mind," he said. "You don't want your shadow to fall on the water." Brightpaw crouched a bit lower and leaned slightly forward. "There are multiple ways to grab a fish but I only learned one so far. You just wait until a fish is close enough and then you quickly move your paw through the water to scoop it up." He showed the movement as he spoke so that Willowpaw could better understand. "Don't be discouraged if you miss, fish are quick and the water can also make things difficult. Sometimes it looks like the fish is close enough to the surface but in reality it's a paws-width lower or to the side." He briefly paused to let everything he explained so far sink in and then continued. "If you manage to scoop up a fish though be careful. They flop around like crazy! One time one hit me in the face with its tail and escaped." He gave a quiet chuckle. "That's why you always have to stun or kill it quickly once you drop it on land. Either bite it or slam it against a rock if one's nearby." Brightpaw took a step towards the water again and looked at his friend. "We can try it out now together. But like I said, don't be too discouraged if a fish escapes, they're tricky prey." ( potatowolfanimator my reply for Mooncrest. Embermask - with Mooncrest and MarshbrookEmbermask gave a quiet purr of thanks and then looked around camp again. "I think I'll ask Marshbrook first," she told her. "Just to see if she's up for it. You can come along or wait here." She wouldn't force Mooncrest to tag along while she asked some more cats but she wouldn't stop her either. Then she padded over to Marshbrook, meowing a polite greeting as she reached her. "Silverrose wants some patrols to explore our territory," she explained then. "Would you like to come along? If you feel up to it, I mean." Marshbrook-Camp-Embermask, Mooncrest(if she came along)Marshbrook looked up from grooming her fur as she heard pawsteps coming up to her. She offered a smile to Embermask. Her face lit up at the she cat's offer. "I'll be up for it, I was already getting bored just sitting around the camp." Her leg wasn't giving her to much issue currently, and the injury was still wrapped tightly from what Ratwhisker did. She stood up, stretching a bit. "When do we asked," she asked offering a smile. (gonna wait for potatowolfanimator first before I reply with Embermask.) ( Ember34 Moleshade approached Barkpaw in Ivy's reply and she's mentioned in my reply with Silenthowl. It's on us though that you didn't see it since we didn't indicate it otherwise ^^)

Backpack jumped at her mentor s voice looking to the two warriors. "S-sure," she said. "I'd love to go." She licked at her chest a bit to calm down. "How far are we going to go?"
Crescentsmoke-Forest-Mistpaw, Mintshade, Blizzardpaw
Crescentsmoke looked to Mistpaw at the apprentices question. "I'm not gully sure what we will find, but we can work to keep an eye out for that clearing if you want." He didn't know what kind of things to l9ok out for when it came to a clan, so he felt he would need to ask Mistpaw for his opinions on anything they come across.
Twigpaw-Camp->Forest-Stormchaser
Twigpaw listened to what the warrior was saying, perking up. He hadn't heard of a lynx before, what was it? "Right," he agreed. "Because you'll have someone to watch your back for danger you might see at the time, especially in a fight when you might not be aware of something creeping up because you are distracted by an opponent."

Mistpaw nodded to his mentor. "Yeah lets keep an eye out for that. We can also watch for good hunting spots and anywhere it might smell like predators." He flicked his ears and smiled. "What about you Mintshade? And you Blizzardpaw?"

Wrenwillow with Moleshade, Silenthowl, and Barkpaw
Wrenwillow stood by the warriors den watching the others gather and move into small groups. She begged starclan to let her be on a patrol led by a clan cat and not one lead by someone beneath her. She sighed and made her way toward Moleshade the one of the only clan cats leading a patrol. She waited nearby as she hoped that the warrior would chose her.
Melonburr with Brightpaw, Badgertooth, and Willowpaw
Melonburr waited until after both Badgertooth and Brightpaw spoke to speak again. "I agree with you Badgertooth. I prefer mice. But then again fish tend to be easier for me than birds." He looked from one apprentice to the other. "I prefer my paw to my face in the water... Brightpaw, why don't you show Willowpaw how you do it?"
Petalpaw open and staying in camp
Petalpaw smiled as she watched the cats gather and dispurse into the woods. She made herself comfortable and told herself she would stay behind and guard camp. It was a good idea for a few to stay back especially with the new kits in the medicine cat den
Snowmask and Applefall with the kits. If someone would like to visit them that would be cool
Snowmask laid curled around her sleeping kits. She purred gently to keep them calm.
Applefall stood nearby but watched the entrance of the den. He was ready to stop a crowd from entering.

Morningmist smiled at Fernfeather. “Sounds like a great idea!” She mewed happily. “Lead the way,” she added and began to follow Fernfeather. She trotted beside Reedfoot as they followed the she-cat in front of them, “how do you both like the clan?” Morningmist asked the warriors as they trotted through the forest.

Hawksky could scent the twolegs, as well as the faintest traces of the kit. "Stay alert," he said to his apprentice, frowning a bit at the apprentices slight change in demeanor. "It will be okay, it doesn't smell like a lot of them, but if it gets rough, run back to camp to get help." He doubted they would fight the twolegs, but if it came to it and it made it easier on Brindlepaw then he had no qualms telling the apprentice to run.
Crescentsmoke-Forest-Mistpaw, Mintshade, Blizzardpaw
Crescentsmoke nodded to his apprentices words. "Other good things to look for." He scented the air as they walked, checking for any predators they might have to worry about. Listening quietly for the other cats answers, so he could help look for things that matched their interests of what they hoped to find.
Nectarpaw-Medicine Cat Den(?)-Snowmask, Applefall
Nectarpaw poked her head into the den, she had heard of there being new kits, and she was rather curious to see them and congratulate the parents. With Silverrose out of the camp recieving her lives, it left her uncertain on things to do, she had wanted to try join a patrol but most seemed to have left already. Seeing Applefall she dipped her head to the tom in greeting. "Hello," she said to him.

Pineshade and Brindlepaw with Hawksky and Wolfkit
Pineshade stepped forward cautiously and saw no sight of twolegs though their scent was still strong. Instantly he saw a small kit dragging herself across some leaves that had started to fall. She seemed very frail and hurt. He cringed and turned to Hawksky. "I know we have to help her but do you think she will make it back to camp? And last until Ratwhisper gets back?" He stepped toward the kit slowly. "Hey" he said softly
Brindlepaw nodded at his mentor's words. He stepped forward slower than Pineshade but also saw the kit. He gasped and flicked his tail. He nodded to the warrior that they had to help her.
Applefall with Nectarpaw
Applefall looked at Nectarpaw as she walked up. "Hello, would you like to see the kits?" He asked her as he stepped out of the way of the medicine cat den.

Hawksky relaxed when there was no twolegs, hoping it would relax his apprentice. He looked to the kit and her state. "Who knows," he said. "But like you said we can't leave her, I'm sure there's someone in the camp that knows the very basic amount of healing. With that, maybe she at least as a small chance of surviving till Ratwhisker returned to the camp.
Nectarpaw-Medicine Cat Den-Applefall
"If that's okay," she said to him. "I understand though if you don't want anyone bothering her though." Nectarpaw looked briefly around the camp one last time, before turning her attention back to the tom.

Pineshade and Brindlepaw with Hawksky and Wolfkit
Pineshade nodded at Hawksky's words. With that he approached the kit. "Can you speak?" He asked this probably a little too bluntly and gruffly. He stepped within range to hear even a small voice and probably scared the poor little thing.
Brindlepaw relaxed when he saw no twolegs in sight. But looked at the devestatingly small and injured she-kit. He looked from her to the warriors and grimaced at Pineshade's bluntness. "What if I talk to her. I'm still a bit smaller than you two and if another cat hurt her someone smaller might feel less threatening." He said this in the msot respectful way while trying to hint that Pineshade's method likely scared the poor thing.
Applefall and Snowmask with Nectarpaw and the kits.
Applefall stepped aside and motioned for Nectarpaw to step inside the den. "They of course haven't opened their eyes yet but they are lively already. Before they fell asleep they were crawling everywhere and mewling like they couldn't say enough." He chuckled and stepped towards his family. "The one with black fur and a white chest is Nightkit, the biggest one with the calico pelt is Whitekit, Patchkit is the smallest, and Rosekit is the ginger tabby." He named off each kit with love and affection. His sons and daughters were all sleeping but you could tell they were gonna be trouble. He didn't mention that Patchkit was having some struggles with nursing as he felt it would get better.

Hawksky looked at the kit waiting for a response to what Pineshade said. His gaze turning to the younger cat when he spoke. "Would be worth a try go for it," he said to the apprentice, flicking his tail towards Pineshade to see if the tom would allow for Brindlepaw to try.
Nectarpaw-Medicine Cat Den-Applefall, Snowmask, their kits
Nectarpaw smiled as she followed him inside the den, looking to the kits as he named each one. "They are very fitting names, im sure it will be welcomed trouble though for other cats that came from clans, will help them feel more at home," she said to them. "Congratulations by the way you two, they are beautiful kits."

Moleshade with Barkpaw and Silenthowl and the also with Wrenwillow
Moleshade looked at Barkpaw. "Good. I'm glad you're willing to go. I was thinking we go out towards an edge that the others haven't explored yet." She said. She glanced over and saw Wrenwillow looking at them and beckoned her over. "Why don't you join our patrol." She said firmly.
(Okay we need a former loner/rogue that will be the one to save Wrenwillow's life as long as Dark still wants to do that.)

Brindlepaw stepped forward and laid down near the kit. "Hi there." He said gently as he looked over to her. "I'm Brindlepaw. We are here to help you okay?" He was calm and quiet trying to to scare the obviously already scared kit. (I'm gonna wait til potatowolfanimator replies to reply again.) Applefall with Nectarpaw Applefall smiled as Nectarpaw talked. "I think they are welcomed trouble too. And they can't be near as much trouble since it's not just me and Snowmask." He said with a chuckle. He dipped his head to the apprentice. "Thank you." Wrenwillow with Moleshade, Silenthowl, and Barkpaw Wrenwillow smiled as Moleshade invited her to join the patrol like she wanted her to. "Of cpurse." She said hoping it would be just clan cats. Silenthowl - Camp - with Moleshade, Barkpaw and Wrenwillow
Silenthowl offered a small smile to greet Barkpaw when she agreed to join the patrol and then looked over at the cat Moleshade was asking next. The tabby flicked their tail and dipped their head to acknowledge Wrenwillow and slowly padded over to her and Moleshade. The group was definitely big enough now so maybe they could head out. It was all up to Moleshade though and Silenthowl glanced at her, wondering if she would give the signal to move out now or if she was going to ask another cat.
Stormchaser - Forest - with Timberpaw
"That's right," he said, giving a approving nod. "There's also the fact that when you're on your own you can't afford to make a single mistake when fighting such creatures. Still dangerous when in a group of course but not quite as bad," he went on. "I'm more used to fighting by myself so while I know the benefits of fighting as a pair or a group I still have to see them for myself. But the moon Brightpaw and I travelled together and the one time I had teamed up with two other loners have shown me quite a bit."

Melonburr sat back and listened to Brightpaw's explanation of fishing. He was thorough and even tempered even encouraging. Melonburr had wanted to see what Brightpaw knew but also new the best way to learn something for life was to teach it to someone else. He looked over at Badgertooth and grinned.
