Roseclan Active Members Needed

Now that Silverrose was back in camp and had welcomed Snip she was prepared to do the big ceremony. She paused to see Storm and nodded at his words. "I'm sure you tired your best." She said before she trotted over to the tree that her den was under. She flicked her tail and jumped up. "Let all cats gather neath the me for a clan meeting." She yowled with a grin. She felt herself slipping into the paws of a leader. "Tonight we will become a clan. Those who need a warrior name will be given one and the apprentices will receive their mentors. We will celebrate our victory afterwards."

She glanced around and though of who to give their name to first. Then she looked at where Storm was. "Storm. You have proven your worth to be in this clan. You have brought someone you had no responsibility to all the way to saftey and you have helped look Willow's Mother. Thank you. I give you the name Stormchaser. That is if you wish to stay with us." She smiled down at the amber eyes of the tom. Then she looked at Cenra. "Cenra. I heard that you have chosen to join us. I thank you. And I've heard that you want your name to have something to do with fire. So I name you Embermask." She purred

Then she looked around. "Crescent. I give you the name Crescentsmoke." She paused and continued looking about she saw Melonburr point to Cherry and mouth her name. "Cherry. I haven't met you yet but I give you the name Cherryfire." She saw Petalpaw mouth the name "Sable" and motion to the tom she was talking to. "Sable. I have yet to meet you either but I give you the name Sablemist." She flicked her tail and smiled down at the clan. Then her eyes landed on Snip. "Snip. I only just met you and you've said you would check out our clan. I give you the name Snipflight."

Silverrose took a deep breath before beginning again. "Beach. I give you the name Fallingsand." She said looking at the young nervous tom. Next she looked at Feather. "Hello Feather. I know you want to keep your name but want to have something put in front of it. So I name you Fernfeather." She glanced at Snow and Apple. "Next I name a pair of cats. You two are now Snowmask and Applefall." She smiled knowingly at them before adding "And congratulations on expecting the first kits of Roseclan."

"The last one to be given a clan name today will be Willow. I want you to know young one that we will protect you from harm. I am sorry we couldn't find your mother. But from now until you get your warrior name, you will be known as Willowpaw." She smiled at the brand new apprentice.

"And with that I will be giving everyone their mentors. I believe in each of these cats to do their best to train their young but we will all help each other out as well. First Willowpaw will be mentored by Badgertooth." She hoped that after her announcements that each pair would find each other and meet.

"Cherryfire you will mentor Petalpaw. Cresentsmoke will mentor Mistpaw. Hawksky will mentor Brindlepaw, Morningmist will mentor Oakpaw, and Windwhisper will mentor Maplepaw. Barkpaw will be mentored by Moleshade. And Brightpaw by Melonburr. Timberpaw and Stormchaser will be paired. And finally I will train Nectarpaw." She took another deep breath to catch her breath.

"I think that is everything that needed said. I will remain by my den for anyone who has any questions. Feel free to mingle and relax. Tomorrow I will get my 9 lives and select a deputy. We will also send out border patrols tomorrow." She sent out one last smile across the crowd and jumped down to lay beneath the tree.

Brightpaw - Camp - Willowpaw, Melonburr

Brightpaw cheered for the newly named warriors, feeling especially delighted at Stormchaser becoming part of the clan. He looked over at Snowmask and Applefall when Silverrose congratulated them on the kits they were expecting and grinned. These would be Roseclan's first kits and he was happy for those two. When it was finally time for Willowpaw to become part of the clan he stepped a bit closer, in case the many stares were unnerving to her. He relaxed when Silverrose announced everyones mentors and quickly glanced around when she paired him up with Melonburr, trying to see which cat had reacted to that name. Once the announcement was over he looked at Willowpaw. "I guess we should find our mentors now," he meowed. "Badgertooth and Melonburr. I doubt we'll actually do any training today so I guess it's just about meeting them for now." He looked around and took a step towards the cat he assumed to be Melonburr. "Hi there!" he called cheerfully. "Are you Melonburr?"

Stormchaser - Camp - Timberpaw

Stormchaser returned Silverrose's smile as she gave him his new name and gave a slight nod. He then stepped back as she named the other new warriors and cheered with the rest of the clan. Once it was time for the mentors to be selected he briefly looked to Brightpaw and Willow, now Willowpaw, curious about who their mentors were going to be. When he heard his own name he looked up in surprise and quickly glanced around to see who this Timberpaw was. Once Silverrose was done with her announcement Stormchaser padded over to the cat he was going to train. "Timberpaw, right?" he meowed with a smile.

Embermask - Camp - Open

Embermask purred lightly as Silverrose gave her her warrior name and briefly glanced at Fernfeather with a smile since she had been the one to inform Silverrose of her wish for a fire-themed name. She also smiled at Snowmask and Applefall, happy for them becoming warriors as well and for their kits. Once the announcement was over she stayed where she was and looked around, curious about how the others would interact now, especially after Silverrose had announced the mentor-apprentice pair-ups.

Melonburr perked up as Brightpaw came up to him. "Yes I am. You must be Brightpaw." Melonburr sat and looked over the apprentice. He was a decent amount younger than Melonburr's own kits but still older than Willowpaw. "Would you like to go hunting or just get to know others in the clan? I know we could use some prey but I'm pretty laid back as a mentor unless you misbehave."

Melonburr smiled at the two apprentices. "I think Badgertooth is the brother of our medicine cat, Ratwhisper. He should be over there laying down." He flicked his ears over to Badgertooth who was in fact laying down.

"It's nice to meet you." Ratwhisper mewed nodding his head politely to Moleshade. He would need to meet everyone in the clan and get somewhat acquainted with them. He dreaded having to talk to others or make small talk. He perks up when Silverose called a meeting and leaves his den to listen.

He listens as a bunch of cats were given their warriors name. Ratwhisper hoped that the cats would be loyal to the clan.



Badgertooth was surprised when Silverose gave him an apprentice. He glances at Willowpaw and waves his tail at her.

Fallingsand nodded, excited but nervous at the same time. He looked around the clearing and gulped, nervous to get to know the new cats of his clan. He paced around for a moment, wondering who all the cats were.

Fallingsand jumped slightly at her approach. He then smiled when he realized the she was being friendly. "Hello!" He responded. "Yeah... I'm not usually this nervous. Well... That's a lie, I am nervous quite often," He laughed sheepishly. "But when I'm not nervous, I'm very talkative!" He didn't realize that she said she was nervous until thinking of what she said for a moment. "Wait... Why are you nervous?" He tilt his head, curious.

I would like to be Timberkit.
Are we supposed to fill out their looks?

Fallingsand jumped slightly at her approach. He then smiled when he realized the she was being friendly. "Hello!" He responded. "Yeah... I'm not usually this nervous. Well... That's a lie, I am nervous quite often," He laughed sheepishly. "But when I'm not nervous, I'm very talkative!" He didn't realize that she said she was nervous until thinking of what she said for a moment. "Wait... Why are you nervous?" He tilt his head, curious.

"Oh! I was a loner before this, as well!" He looked at her for a moment, then smiled. "Don't worry! I'm sure once you have the kits and all, they will be the joy of your life!"

Fallingsand glanced around, as well. His smile faded away as he looked around at all of the cats. He looked down at the ground and shuffled his paws. "Do you think... They will accept me?" He asked, trying to hide the anxiousness in his voice. 

He nodded excitedly. "Of course I will!"

"As far as I know that's most of what the warrior code asks for. It's about protecting the weak and innocent and being loyal to your clan." Snowmask said. She shifted her weight again looking uncomfortable.

Snowmask sighed. "My kits are just moving around alot. They seem to have started that as soon as I found out I was going to have them. Ratwhisper told us just earlier today." She said. She tried to think of something else to talk about. Not wanting to make it about her. "Why don't we take a stroll around the forest outside." She offered.
