Ghost sat down. "Yes, like slate says. We don't mean any harm, we only want to help you back to your clan." She mewed with false sympathy. Her pelt bristled as she noticed the other one was missing. She glanced behind them to make sure it wasn't a surprise attack.
Snowpaw shrugged. "I don't know...I don't think he even came with us. He was too busy yelling at one of the rouges." She replied. She climbed to the top of the ravine and noticed that two of the rouges were missing. "Uh oh." She meowed, glancing at Nightstar.
Nightstar climbed on top of the ravine and noticed Hollowsky and two of the rouges were gone. "Crowwatcher, Leapordstrike. Where are the rouges and Hollowsky?"He asked angrily, flattening his ears.

"You talked about killing kits you lying fox hearts," Foxpaw spat at them. He needed to get back to his mentor and they need to get to the clan and tell them of these rogues. His claws sliding out. he had battle training but never had to actually use it in a real situation before.

Crowwatcher noticed that the tom never returned with her. Flciking her tail she tried to piece what could have happened. Two rogues where missing and now thunderpelt. It couldn't be a coincidence could it?

Foxpaw backed away. His fur bristling he definitely needed to get back to Froststripes. Turning he sprinted as fast as his legs would allow, long since forgetting the mice he left behind. Fear was driving in the tom's blood, a small whimper forming as he prayed to starclan the rogues wouldn't follow him, or at the very least he could be faster ten them. But they were fully grown compared to him, so he knew he was at the disadvantage.

Crowwatcher saw Leafshine, heading for the deputy. "Leafshine two of the rogues are missing and so is Thunderpelt," she told her. "I don't know hw that could happen. I left Hollowsky and one other cat to watch them. me and Thunderpelt talked about the rogues and my opinion on them, and i think they are up to something." She knew the she cat was littermtes with the tom, and if it was Eveningfern missing she would want to be told.

Ghost hissed as Foxpaw ran away. "Wait come back! We're just trying to get you back to your clan!" She snarled in frustration and stalked after the tom. She could easily follow his scent and she didn't want him to know she was following him.
Hollowsky had walked a little bit into the forest and he now heard something darting through the undergrowth towards him and Eveningfern. He took a few steps back as he saw a smallish cream cat run by. "Foxpaw?" He asked, hope lighting up his eyes.

Foxpaw slowed down as the tom nearly collapsed from exhaustion. He could hear the rogues behind him, their howls just driving the fear more into him. He shook out his fur as he looked around for some place to hide, seeing a small burrow, after enough clawing he managed to at least make the entrance big enough for him to slide through. Curling tightly into a ball.
Eveningfern's ears perked seeing the cream shape run past them. "Let's go," she said to her mate, hoping it was in fact their son. She took off in the direction she had seen it go in.

Slate was catching up, and was already in grasp of Foxpaw's tail. "Wait! We need to get you back to your clan!" He yowled, clearly scenting that Hollowsky was nearby, and didn't want it to look like what it actually was.

Ghost had already caught up and was clawing to try to make the hole bigger. She scented Hollowsky and eveningfern and backed up. "Please! We're only trying to get you back to your clan!" She lied as Hollowsky padded into view. She pushed Slate off of Foxpaw's tail as the apprentice's parents appeared. Ghost froze in shock as Hollowsky threw himself at Slate. "Stop!" She yowled.
Hollowsky bounded after Foxpaw and spotted the rouges chasing him. "Get your filthy paws off of him!" He snarled as he threw himself at Slate, slicing the tom's ears.

Foxpaw trembled in the hole he was in. The tom was relieved to see his parents. He hesitantly exited from the hole. It was safe because they were here and seemed to be able to match the rogues in battle.
Eveningfern had rushed to get herself between the rogues and Foxpaw. Her claws sliding out ready to protect their son. Keeping an eye on the rogues, she looked at Slate to be ready to go help Hollowsky should he need it.

Crowwatcher pulled back her ears. "Sorry Nightstar," she apologized. "It wasn't important in the slightest" she admitted. She knew that the talk could have waited, if she had a clanmate wouldnt be missing along with two of the rogues. She had messed up and now all she could try to do was correct it.

Foxpaw glared at the rogues, feeling alittle braver with his parents there. "You talked about killing kits i heard you," he snapped out. "plus you were chasing me!" The tom pressed close to the ground as despite it all he was still a little scared of the rogues.

Hollowsky slowly got off of Slate. "Sorry..." He muttered before turning back to Foxpaw and Eveningfern. "Are you okay Foxpaw?" He asked, his voice suddenly softening. "Killing kits?" He asked, glancing at slate through narrowed eyes.
Ghost sat back and watched them. "We were only trying to get him back to you." She muttered underneath her breath. "We were only chasing you because we didn't want anything bad happen to you." She meowed, acting worried about Foxpaw.
