Darkpaw - Camp - Frogwhisker ( Maeess)
Darkpaw’s head jerked back in surprise when she felt Frogwhisker’s tail. Honestly, the apprentice would’ve been mostly irritated if the tom had not been so quick to apologize. The gray and black she-cat shook her head, ”That’s alright,” she meowed with a still slightly confused expression. Continuing, she added, ”Where are you off to?” Darkpaw could remember that Frogwhisker didn’t have an apprentice yet; maybe he would allow her to tag along with him for some additional training? Surely Primrosedawn wouldn’t mind... It would be good to get the experience of two warriors rather than just one, right? |

Darkpaw - Camp - Frogwhisker ( Maeess)
Darkpaw quirked an eyebrow. Teach me how to jump high? However, before she could even think about how odd his statement was, she was taking a startled step back as Frogwhisker launched himself into the air. I guess that's why his mother named him Frogkit! She thought to herself, eyes slightly widening at the impressive display. "Erm," Darkpaw faltered for a moment, unsure how to respond. "T-Thank you, Frogwhisker," She meowed with a respectful dip of her head, "That would be great." The tom struck her as a little odd, but it was easy to see that he meant well. With Darkpaw close to becoming a warrior herself, she decided it would be better to get to know some of her future denmates now. |

Cloudslip - Territory - With Bramblepaw and Littlesky
The white tom followed behind the other two, choosing to take up the rear so that Littlesky would have room to teach Bramblepaw and so that Bramblepaw wouldn't get distracted by him being there. Opening his jaws he let the scents of the land around them fall over him, his paw steps even and quiet as he moved. It wasn't long until he caught the scent of a robin and he sped up a bit, flicking Littlesky with his tail. "I smell a robin." Littlesky-Territory-Bramblepaw and Cloudlsip Littlesky scented the air and caught the scent of a robin. He gave a nod to Cloudlsip, and flicked his tail to Bramblepaw. "Okay so..hunting birds can be hard," he started. He glanced briefly to the apprentice before to the ground in front of himself. He crouched to the ground. 'you want to crouch like this, because it helps keep you hidden....you want to be walking in the direction of the wind...so the prey doesn't catch your scent." The tom shook out his head a bit, trying to kill his nerves. "You also want to be careful where you place yours paws. |

Birchcloud - Camp - Ashenleaf (assigning patrols)
Birchcloud had finished his fish and was now glancing by around the camp. He watched as Littlesky, Bramblepaw, and Cloudslip exited the camp and Primrosedawn and Darkpaw re-entered it. He wasn’t sure whether the trio was going on a hunting or border patrol, but he guessed Littlesky wanted to start Bramblepaw on hunting. Giving a small nod to himself, he turned his head to look around camp. The cream-colored tom padded toward Ashenleaf. “Hey, could you take a border patrol out?” He paused, unsure whether the tom would be ok with choosing his own patrol.
Primrosedawn - Camp - Open
Primrosedawn set her own prey on the fresh-kill pile and glanced at Darkpaw. It had been a successful training session. “No, you did great. Take some prey yourself and go relax.” She grinned warmly before stepping away and walking towards the edge of camp. Sitting down, she began to give herself a thorough wash.
Shortsun - Camp - Firekit, Stonekit
Shortsun grinned at Firekit's reaction and batted her paw at the stone as it came tumbling toward her. She pushed it back towards Stonekit.
Stonekit - Camp - Shortsun, Firekit
Stonekit fell to the floor as Firekit scrambled to bat the rock. He watched Shortsun bat it toward him and pounced as it neared him. He missed, but turned clumsily and shot it toward Firekit again.
(That sounds good! Cats might get suspicious...)
Lynxpaw - Apprentice's Den - Coldclaws(momentarily), Hawkgrip
Lynxpaw dipped his head to the Dark Forest warrior, and when he lifted his head, he was back in the apprentice's den. Shaking the events from his mind, he turned to see Hawkgrip peek into the den. "I'm awake now," he grumbled. Fishing was definitely not something he looked forward too. "I'll be there in a moment." Twisting to clean his side, he noticed a mark that hadn't been there before. With a grin of satisfaction, he realized it was from his training with Swanpaw. Taking one glance toward the white she-cat told him that she bore markings too. Standing, he made his way to the entrance of the den.
Ferret - Forest - Carolina, Mac
Ferret stood up, a bit tired from trying to teach the two youngsters before her. “Alright, I think I could use a good nap before we continue our training. If you want, you can come with me to my den.” She glanced in the direction of her den, before facing the two young cats again.
Tangle - Forest - Wolf
Tangle nodded. Soon enough, the two toms reached the clearing. Licking his lips, he walked a little ways away from Wolf. Dropping into a crouch, the brown tabby eyed the ground around him. He could hear a few critters busy, but a vole seemed to be the closest. Padding slowly forward, Tangle pounced, trapping the dark brown rodent beneath his unsheathed claws before bending down to deliver the killing bite.

Willowpaw with Batkit and Onyxkit Willowpaw screwed up her face as she thought about how to help Onyxkit. "Its okay to be sad for a little while but you can't let it take over your whole life. Try having fun now and don't think about your friends not being right here with you." She giggled when Batkit knocked his brother over. "I'm sure you'll make fine warriors. Its just about making sure your duties are done and then you can play. And you can definitely make duties more fun. You can see who can catch more prey or see who can clean up the moss the fastest." She sat down and waited for one of the kits to go after the moss ball again. |

Firekit with Shortsun and Stonekit
The young kit squeaked as the rock came back toward him. He pounced on it and kicked it right back to his brother. He watched it head toward Stonekit. The he glanced at Shortsun who had become like a mother to him. He purred and loped over and nuzzled her.

Bramblepaw - forest - with Cloudslip and Littlesky
Bramblepaw nodded, crouching down low and tucking his tail a bit. He sniffed the air, searching for the robin they had spotted. His ears flicked and he licked his nose, his eyes fixated on the bird once he found it. He turned to his mentor. “Okay what do I do now?”
Hawkgrip - apprentice den - lynxpaw
Hawkgrip waited for his apprentice to leave the den, he sat down. His tail flicking impatiently. He didn’t really want to go fishing today, but he wanted to do something difficult to challenge lynxpaw .
Onyxkit-camp - Willowpaw and Batkit
Onyxkit gave one more unhappy sigh before he perked up. “Okay Willowpaw, race you to that oak tree!” He mewed before taking off .

Willowpaw chuckled at the kit. Then started off after him as he raced toward the tree. She tried to keep a fair pace as she ran since the kit was smaller than her.

Onyxkit had a determined look on his face As he continued running towards the tree. He looked back at Willowpaw, a grin wider than his ears as he beat the apprentice. He gave a meow of triumph , jumping around and smiling.

Willowpaw didn't stop running running when Onyxkit won. Instead she pushed through and finished the race. She might have lost but at least Onyxkit was now having fun. "I'll race you back to Batkit." She didn't start running for a moment to give Onyxkit a chance to process the challenge.

Onyxkit scrambled to get ahead of Willowpaw, his tiny form a contrast to her size. He ran back to Batkit, jumping on his brother sending them both rumbling into the wall of bramble protecting the camp.

Willowpaw laughed as the two kits tumbled into the wall. "Are you okay?" She asked trotting over to where the kits lay. She pushed them each to their feet and looked them over for scratches. "Be more careful next time. I can't havr you getting hurt." She told the two young toms.

Carolina looked at their new friend , a slight frustration growing in her face. She wanted to learn all that Ferret could teach her and her brother. She fixed her face, making it soft. “Yeah we’ll come, and maybe we can hunt more after?”
Mac - with ferret and his sister
Mac scrambled out of the hole and went to where Ferret was. “C’mon Carolina” he whined. He watched his sister make her way to where they were.

Onyxkit laughed and nodded his head. Getting up to his feet. He started yawning, his eyes closing slowly. He noticed his mum on her way back and he spoke through another yawn.
“Daisyheart is coming back!”
Batkit - camp - with Willowpaw and his brother
Batkit looked at Willowpaw, thinking thoughts about when he would be a warrior. He looked away, meeting his mums gaze.
Daisyheart- camp -
Daisyheart walked back over to where her kits and Willowpaw where, her mother retreating into the elders den behind her.
“Thankyou willowpaw.” She said softly. “Now I suggest you go find your mentor “

Darkpaw - Camp - Tagged; Stormpaw (@dusky)
Darkpaw groaned softly as she stood from her sitting position on the cave floor. Her shoulder felt tight and sore ever since going out hunting with Primrosedawn. Perhaps she retained a minor injury when she landed after jumping to catch that cardinal? Shaking her head as a chastisement for herself, the gray tabby apprentice decided it best not to just sit around and do nothing. After a moment of contemplation, she decided a quick visit to the Medicine Den couldn’t hurt. Wincing slightly, she padded off towards that side of camp and paused before entering the den. She had always hated going to see anyone for pain; especially something that was her fault - a stupid mistake in form while hunting. Sighing, she pushed her way into the den and called out hesitantly, “Cherrypetal? Stormpaw?”

Darkpaw turned her head quickly to face the sound of Stormpaw's voice. Searching for a moment, Darkpaw's deep blue eyes finally settled on the black she-cat. She almost blends in with this place. The gray tabby thought to herself, only now realizing how much less light was in the den than the rest of the camp. Slowly, the apprentice padded over to the other she-cat and stopped as she winced, having put weight on her shoulder the wrong way again. "Er, my should has been bothering me." She began, somewhat hesitantly, "I was out hunting with Primrosedawn and I think I landed a jump weird." She admitted, her pelt growing warm with the embarrassment of such a stupid mistake. She was one of the older apprentices - she should know how to do simple leaps without messing up the landing by now! |

Stormpaw | Medicine den | Darkpaw( shadowstreak) Stormpaw watched Darkpaw and could tell that she was in pain. She walked closer to the other apprentice to check out her shoulder. "Here, sit down for me." She mewed, as she went to find some herbs to help. "Ragwort leaves help aching joints, and comfrey root helps wrenched shoulders if it's lined around their nest..." She murmured to herself as she grabbed some herbs and carried them back over to Darkpaw and set them down. "Can you tell me exactly where it hurts, and when it hurts most?" She asked, taking a look at Darkpaw's shoulder carefully. |

Darkpaw stiffened instinctively when the medicine cat apprentice approached her. She hadn't spent much time in the Medicine Den and honestly being there made her slightly on edge. While she knew that she should think of it as a place of healing, she couldn't help but think of it as somewhere cats who were injured, sick, or even dying had been. Forcing herself to remain calm, she sat down on the stone underneath her and watched as Stormpaw went to gather herbs. Darkpaw looked up as the black she-cat approached her and nodded, "It's just my shoulder, and it usually hurts when I walk." She thought for a heartbeat before continuing, "But it doesn't hurt all the time; it just feels like it catches sometimes." Her brown furrowed in slight confusion at her own symptoms. The scent of the herbs were helping to calm her nerves and she was glad to be talking with Stormpaw; she would surely be able to help. |
