so what does your family do?
do you eat kinda like you would normally for breakfast/lunch? or do you eat something really minimal and kinda just starve until hours later when you can finally eat the dinner like mine does
or do you eat the thanksgiving meal early enough in the day neither of the above really apply lmao

When I did eat with family it was eat a light breakfast, dinner at 2-3pm ish. Then people would socialize until like 5-6, watch sportsball, catch up, and black friday course plan. Then nap and everybody wake up by 11 to be at the store by midnight.

Our usual tradition is to eat lunch at one of my grandparents’ houses, and then supper at the other - two big meals in one day, so we normally skip breakfast since we’ll be eating lunch soon enough anyway.
This year due to COVID, my parents and I just did a meal for the three of us. Since we’d end up eating about 6pm, we had a normal breakfast and then didn’t really do lunch.

If I get up before noon, I have cereal. If I get up after noon, I don't technically eat anything, but instead feed on random scraps from the cooking process.
Today I got up at 2pm, so I haven't had anything yet other than a finger of mashed potato goo, pre-cheesed and pre-baconed.
My family typically eats Thanksgiving dinner around 5 or 6, but today we're doing it at 7 because my mom had to work (God bless the healthcare workers).
My boyfriend's family eats dinner on a normal day at 5, which is so absurdly early to me, as someone who always ate at 8 or 9 because of my parents' work schedules. On holidays or birthdays they eat "dinner" at 2, which is like...? That's not dinner. I'm sorry, it's not. It's a big lunch. No matter how much I eat at 2, I'm going to be hungry again before bed.

I usually wake up pretty late so I'll eat breakfast at like 11 and then snacks in the mid-late afternoon and then dinner in the evening.

I usually just skip all my meals till dinner. Just cause I usually spend the day cooking/baking and when I'm doing stuff I forget to eat.

We wait to really eat until the Thanksgiving meal, but each of us usually snack on something at some point during the day so that we aren't absolutely starving for hours on end.

My mom always makes celery with cream cheese and shrimp cocktail, but I usually don't have either. This year, I had cereal and a piece of bread.

I mean, normally I don’t eat anything except for a really light breakfast before even a regular sized dinner, so thanksgiving isn’t all that different.
