I was just in a bookshop and came across the Survivors books. I've never read this series but I thought the covers looked pretty cool and wanted to share them incase people were interested in seeing what the Japanese covers look like! |

I have seen these covers before and they are just absolutely gorgeous. It makes me want a manga in the style of them-!!
Besides that, happy to yet again disprove to Warriors fans that Survivors can be sold in Asian Countries/Languages and contain a homosexual relationship.

As someone who has read all of the books, I don’t remember there being a gay couple? 😭 SPOILERS FOR MOONS CHOICE, THE BROKEN PATH, THE EXILES JOURNEY, AND THE FINAL BATTLE If you recall in Moons Choice, it makes it very clear that the Beta is supposed to represent the Alphas mate since it's supposed to be like a Kingdom Hierarchy system where you have your princess/prince with another princess/prince to become the king/queen. From that knowledge alone and from the reoccurring knowledge of the pack system be pretty consistent with this point it's safe to assume and to assure that Twitch is Splash's mate. Making them a gay couple in the series. Even though the wiki tries really hard to cover up this idea that "Oh! This is an exception, they aren't actually mates!!!" Which never even states it as an exception and even later on you have Storm, who isn't actually blood related but adopted by Lucky (thus, being in that family lineage) ASSIGNED the position of the future Alpha. Thus, pushing on the idea that the Alpha position and Beta position is ASSIGNED by offspring (or in Twitch's case, after overthrowing Terror to be popular choice) to a mate that will lead the pack as a future Alpha and Beta who's offsprings will become their future. It's why Fiery deserved the right of Alpha when Wolf/Dog refused, because he's Wolf/Dogs adopted son. It's why Wolf/Dog wanted Sweet to become his Beta when he had a "crush" on her. And could even be the reason why he was a tad bit desperate for a mate like Sweet because he perhaps wanted TRUE offspring to take his status and not Fiery. In TEJ you have a character named "Alpha Tom" who is a longpaw with another male longpaw that imply that they sleep together. |

Two longpaws appeared around the corner of their den, sticks clutched in their hands. They weren't like any other longpaws Storm had seen up close. Their strange-colored fur were red and black and blue, but they covered less of their skin than Storm had seen, leaving exposed hides around their arms and legs. Somehow, she didn't think this was a sign of weakness. They both looked powerfully muscular, at least as far as she could make out.

"Beta Danny wants to know if you're a good dog," she said.

with all of this Alpha Tom and Beta Danny is a gay homosexual couple if Twitch and Splash didn't convince you enough.
