Hello everyone! Thank you for taking a chance on my roleplay~ I'm here to give you a quick rundown on things so that you can understand it better. I'm open for questions anytime!
♔ Scattered Info ♔
* Everyone is allowed ONE character but multiple NPCs where applicable. I'll be writing multiple out of necessity, but I'm debating on whether villains should be a group effort or confined to those who want to write them- please let me know what you prefer!
* I would appreciate experienced writers who would write a paragraph per post at the least.
* Characters aged 15-20
* Violence & action kind of come with the territory, so this may not be for you if you aren't comfortable- of course we'll be cleaving to the Forum Rules, however. ^^"
* Please don't let this die- though absence due to irl things or lack of muse is A-Okay, still we'd appreciate a heads up!

♔ World Info ♔
* Our story begins in the idyllic lake town of Candler Valley, not far from the bustling city of Camden. The area is heavily forested and popular among hikers. It's also known for bears and wolves the further in you go, but lately something else has been stalking campers...
* Arthur and the knights are very close- he has canonically kissed them all at least once- platonically in family's case- I don't intend to make him a Gary Stu loved by all, this is just to explain how physically affectionate he may be. Arthurian literature said toxic masculinity? Don't know her. Of course if you or your characters are uncomfortable with that then it can just Not happen~
* Knights can be male or female. When you become your Knight, you can either resemble them entirely or halfway. Whether or not you're male or female in this form is up to you~
* Your character can either already know their place or be a newbie who has been coerced into the Order with hugs and cookies. (Courtesy Arthur)
There are three ways to become a Knight:
-Arthur chooses you personally, in which case you would have a significantly stronger bond with your Blade and its magic.
-Your Knight chooses you, in which case you will be more strongly assimilated with them.
-You volunteer yourself, in which case your passive magic gets a boost.
* You can also choose your level of training and whether or not you found out you were a Knight through family or Arthur.
* On that note- please include in your joining form whether or not you're already a Knight and your relationship with Arthur. Knowing pre-established relationships is important, especially for a team-centered story.
* Each knight has a weapon, sword, and magic(s) exclusive to them. Magic can be plural if you have the legend to back it up~
(Example: Sir YourNameHere uses a bow & arrow and has the magical ability to see through anything. He also has his Knight's Blade, which is unique to him and strengthens his own magical abilities or gives him a second set.)
* All of the Knights are stronger, faster, more durable & agile, etc than humans. Basically we're supernaturally superior to humans, but some of us exceed the others in some ways.
(Example: Sir Lamorak's temper gives him a significant increase in fighting ability until he's been injured.)
* Try not to make your magic too OP and fit the Knight- Like I've done with Lamorak. You and your Knight are technically separate entities, yet the matter of who is wearing who tends to trip you up. Most of them don't actually interact with you, and how well you've assimilated dictates whether or not they'll actually do what you want.
(Example: Joan is a brunette who hates conflict. As Sir Lamorak, she becomes a combat-loving redhead. They aren't well assimilated, so while she may want to focus on saving people, Lamorak decides that taking on all of the enemies by herself is a better idea.)
* Knight Blades become small, mundane things when not in use- Such as a pendant for a necklace or even a ring. They can be 'drawn' with either magic or gestures, such as taking them off, tossing them in the air, or simply telling them to. Your Knight Blade allows you to become a Knight, without it you will just be a slightly stronger than average person.
